Otherwise, you have believed in vain.

If the dead are not raised at all, why are people baptized for them?

If the dead are not raised, “Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.”
33. 33PBPEAda hampe tatipu: "Pargaulan sa puang maeh nyanrusak parangai sa maeh."BSBBSB: Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good character.”

But the splendor of the heavenly bodies is of one degree, and the splendor of the earthly bodies is of another.
41. 41PBPEKaeh mate anrau puang sameh anri kaeh wulan, kaeh wawahiang pada puang sameh daya isa wawahiang puang sameh anri wawahiang sa lain hawuang kaehni.BSBBSB: The sun has one degree of splendor, the moon another, and the stars another; and star differs from star in splendor.
42. 42PBPEKalayiru pada anri ulun nasamelum mulek teka pampatei. Nahamur hawuang kabinasaan, nasamelum mulek hawuang wangun sa puang binasa.BSBBSB: So will it be with the resurrection of the dead: What is sown is perishable; it is raised imperishable.
43. 43PBPENahamur hawuang pikurun, nasamelum mulek hawuang pikaeh. Nahamur hawuang pileme, nasamelum mulek hawuang kakuaten.BSBBSB: It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power.
44. 44PBPENahamur anri wangun tenga jasmani, nasamelum mulek anri wangun tenga rohani. Amun naan tenga jasmani, naan pada tenga rohani.BSBBSB: It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.
45. 45PBPEIalah sa haut nasurat, "Murunsia sa palanungkai, hi Adam, jari mahluk sa welum." Hi Adam sa hanrian jari roh sa ngami pamelum.BSBBSB: So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam a life-giving spirit.

50. 50PBPEAku kaeau ina ma naun, pulaksanai katuluh, hanyeyiru daging anri ira puang kaiuh masuk ma karajaan Alatalla. Kalayiru pada sa tau binasa, puang kaiuh nganti sa puang tau binasa.BSBBSB: Now I declare to you, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.
51. 51PBPERengeilah! Aku iwara ma naun isa rahasia, takam puang sagar matei katuluhni, kude takam katuluh sagar naubah,BSBBSB: Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed—

For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.
