4 ULB তিনি জাতিদের মধ্যে বিচার করবেন; অনেক দেশের লোকদের প্রতিদান নিষ্পত্তি করবেন। তারা তাদের তরোয়াল ভেঙ্গে লাঙ্গলের ফলা করবে আর বর্শা ভেঙ্গে কেটে সাফ করার জিনিস করবে। এক জাতি অন্য জাতির বিরুদ্ধে আর তরোয়াল ওঠাবে না; তারা আর যুদ্ধ করতে শিখবে না। BSB BSB: Then He will judge between the nations and arbitrate for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will no longer take up the sword against nation, nor train anymore for war.
5 ULB হে যাকোবের কুল, চল এবং এস আমরা সদাপ্রভুর আলোতে চলি। BSB BSB: Come, O house of Jacob, let us walk in the light of the LORD.
6 ULB কারণ তুমি তো তোমার লোকদেরকে, যাকোবের কুলকে ত্যাগ করেছ। কারণ তারা পূর্ব দিকের দেশগুলোর রীতিতে পূর্ণ এবং পলেষ্টীয়দের ভবিষ্যৎবাণী পাঠকদের মতো হয়েছে এবং তারা বিদেশীদের সন্তানদের সঙ্গে হাত মিলিয়েছে। BSB BSB: For You have abandoned Your people, the house of Jacob, because they are filled with influences from the east; they are soothsayers like the Philistines; they strike hands with the children of foreigners.
7 ULB তাদের দেশ সোনা ও রূপায় ভরা, তাদের ধন-সম্পদের সীমা নেই। তাদের দেশ ঘোড়ায় পরিপূর্ণ আর তাদের রথের সীমা নেই। BSB BSB: Their land is full of silver and gold, with no limit to their treasures; their land is full of horses, with no limit to their chariots.
8 ULB তাদের দেশ প্রতিমায় পরিপূর্ণ; তাদের হাতে তৈরী জিনিসের কাছে তারা প্রণাম করে, সেই সমস্ত জিনিস যা তাদের আঙ্গুল তৈরী করেছে। BSB BSB: Their land is full of idols; they bow down to the work of their hands, to what their fingers have made.

10 ULB সদাপ্রভুর আতঙ্কের হাত থেকে এবং তাঁর প্রতাপের মহিমা থেকে রক্ষা পাওয়ার জন্য তোমরা প্রস্তরময় জায়গায় চলে যাও এবং মাটিতে লুকিয়ে পড়। BSB BSB: Go into the rocks and hide in the dust from the terror of the LORD and the splendor of His majesty.
11 ULB এক দৃষ্টিতে তাকিয়ে থাকা লোকের গর্ব নত করা হবে এবং গর্বিত লোকের অহংকার চূর্ণ হবে। সেই দিন একমাত্র সদাপ্রভুই মহিমান্বিত হবেন। BSB BSB: The proud look of man will be humbled, and the loftiness of men brought low; the LORD alone will be exalted in that day.
12 ULB কারণ সেখানে বাহিনীদের সদাপ্রভুর দিন হবে প্রত্যেকের বিরুদ্ধে যারা গর্বিত, অহংকারী এবং প্রত্যেকের বিরুদ্ধে যারা দাম্ভিক; তাকে নত করা হবে। BSB BSB: For the Day of the LORD of Hosts will come against all the proud and lofty, against all that is exalted—it will be humbled—
13 ULB এবং লিবানোনের সব লম্বা ও উন্নত এরস গাছের বিরুদ্ধে এবং বাশনের সব এলোন গাছের বিরুদ্ধে; BSB BSB: against all the cedars of Lebanon, lofty and lifted up, against all the oaks of Bashan,

17 ULB মানুষের গর্বকে নত করা হবে এবং লোকের অহঙ্কারের পতন হবে। সেই দিন একমাত্র সদাপ্রভুই গৌরবান্বিত হবেন, BSB BSB: So the pride of man will be brought low, and the loftiness of men will be humbled; the LORD alone will be exalted in that day,
18 ULB প্রতিমাগুলো সম্পূর্ণরূপে লুপ্ত হবে। BSB BSB: and the idols will vanish completely.
19 ULB সদাপ্রভুর আতঙ্ক এবং তার মহিমার প্রতাপের থেকে লোকেরা পাথরের গুহায় এবং মাটির গর্তের মধ্যে যাবে, যখন তিনি পৃথিবীকে আতঙ্কিত করার জন্য উঠবেন। BSB BSB: Men will flee to caves in the rocks and holes in the ground, away from the terror of the LORD and from the splendor of His majesty, when He rises to shake the earth.
20 ULB সেই দিন লোকেরা তাদের সোনা ও রূপার প্রতিমাগুলো নিক্ষেপ করবে যা তারা আরাধনা করার জন্য তৈরী করেছে, তারা তাদেরকে ছুঁচো ও বাদুড়ের কাছে ফেলে দেবে। BSB BSB: In that day men will cast away to the moles and bats their idols of silver and gold—the idols they made to worship.
21 ULB সদাপ্রভুর আতঙ্ক ও প্রতাপের মহিমা থেকে লোকেরা পাথরের গুহার মধ্যে এবং খাড়া পাথরের ফাটলের মধ্যে যাবে যখন তিনি পৃথিবীকে আতঙ্কিত করার জন্য উঠবেন। BSB BSB: They will flee to caverns in the rocks and crevices in the cliffs, away from the terror of the LORD and from the splendor of His majesty, when He rises to shake the earth.
22 ULB মানুষের ওপর নির্ভর করা বন্ধ কর, যার নাকে প্রাণবায়ু আছে, কারণ সে কিসের মধ্যে গণ্য? BSB BSB: Put no more trust in man, who has only the breath in his nostrils. Of what account is he?
