2 ULB বীর, যোদ্ধা, বিচারক, ভাববাদী, পূর্বলক্ষণ পাঠক, প্রাচীন; BSB BSB: the mighty man and the warrior, the judge and the prophet, the soothsayer and the elder,
3 ULB পঞ্চাশ সৈন্যের সেনাপতি ও সম্মানিত লোক, পরামর্শদাতা, অভিজ্ঞ কারিগর এবং দক্ষ যোদ্ধা। BSB BSB: the commander of fifty and the dignitary, the counselor, the cunning magician, and the clever enchanter.
4 ULB “আর আমি সাধারণ যুবকদেরকে তাদের নেতা করব, অল্পবয়স্করা তাদের ওপরে শাসন করবে। BSB BSB: “I will make mere lads their leaders, and children will rule over them.”
5 ULB লোকেরা অত্যাচারিত হবে, প্রত্যেকে একে অন্যের দ্বারা এবং প্রত্যেকে তার প্রতিবেশীর দ্বারা হবে, শিশুরা বৃদ্ধদের বিরুদ্ধে ও সাধারণ লোকেরা সম্মানীয়দের বিরুদ্ধে গর্বিতের কাজ করবে। BSB BSB: The people will oppress one another, man against man, neighbor against neighbor; the young will rise up against the old, and the base against the honorable.
6 ULB মানুষ তার পিতৃকুলের ভাইকে ধরিয়ে দেবে এবং বলবে, ‘তোমার পোশাক আছে, আমাদের শাসনকর্তা হও এবং এই বিনাশের অবস্থা তোমার হাতের অধীনে হোক।’ BSB BSB: A man will seize his brother within his father’s house: “You have a cloak—you be our leader! Take charge of this heap of rubble.”
7 ULB সেই দিন সে চিত্কার করবে এবং বলবে, ‘আমি আরোগ্যকারী হব না; আমার খাবার নেই, পোশাক নেই। তোমরা আমাকে লোকদের শাসনকর্তা কর না’।” BSB BSB: On that day he will cry aloud: “I am not a healer. I have no food or clothing in my house. Do not make me leader of the people!”
8 ULB কারণ যিরূশালেম বিনষ্ট এবং যিহূদা পড়ে গেল, কারণ তাদের জিভ ও কাজ সদাপ্রভুর বিরুদ্ধে; যা তাঁর রাজকীয় অধিকার তুচ্ছ করে। BSB BSB: For Jerusalem has stumbled and Judah has fallen because they spoke and acted against the LORD, defying His glorious presence.

O My people, your guides mislead you; they turn you from your paths.
13 ULB সদাপ্রভু বিচার স্থানে বিচার করতে উঠেছেন; তিনি তাঁর লোকদেরকে বিচার করতে দাঁড়িয়েছেন। BSB BSB: The LORD arises to contend; He stands to judge the people.
14 ULB সদাপ্রভু তাঁর লোকদের প্রাচীনদেরকে ও আধিকারিকদেরকে বিচারে আনবেন, “তোমরা আমার আঙ্গুর ক্ষেত গ্রাস করেছ; গরিবদের জিনিস তোমাদের ঘরে আছে। BSB BSB: The LORD brings this charge against the elders and leaders of His people: “You have devoured the vineyard; the plunder of the poor is in your houses.
15 ULB কেন তোমরা আমার লোকদের চূর্ণ করছ আর গরিবদের মুখ পিষে ফেলছ?” এই কথা প্রভু বাহিনীদের সদাপ্রভু বলছেন। BSB BSB: Why do you crush My people and grind the faces of the poor?” declares the Lord GOD of Hosts.
16 ULB সদাপ্রভু বলছেন যে সিয়োনের মেয়েরা অহংকারী এবং তারা মাথা উঁচু করে হেঁটে বেড়ায় আর চোখ দিয়ে ইশারা করে; কায়দা করে হাঁটে এবং তারা পায়ে ঝুনঝুন শব্দ করে। BSB BSB: The LORD also says: “Because the daughters of Zion are haughty—walking with heads held high and wanton eyes, prancing and skipping as they go, jingling the bracelets on their ankles—
17 ULB সেইজন্য প্রভু সিয়োনের মেয়েদের মাথায় চর্মরোগ সৃষ্টি করবেন এবং সদাপ্রভু তাদেরকে নেড়া করবেন। BSB BSB: the Lord will bring sores on the heads of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will make their foreheads bare.”
18 ULB সেই দিন প্রভু তাদের সুন্দর অলঙ্কার, মাথার ফিতে, অর্ধচন্দ্রকার অলঙ্কার, BSB BSB: In that day the Lord will take away their finery: their anklets and headbands and crescents;
19 ULB কানের দুল, চুড়ি, ঘোমটা, BSB BSB: their pendants, bracelets, and veils;
20 ULB মাথার অলঙ্কার, পায়ের অলঙ্কার, মাথার ফিতা, সুগন্ধির বাক্স, সৌভাগ্যের কবজ কেড়ে নেবেন BSB BSB: their headdresses, ankle chains, and sashes; their perfume bottles and charms;
21 ULB তিনি আংটি ও নাকের নথ, BSB BSB: their signet rings and nose rings;
22 ULB উৎসবের পোশাক, বড় জামা, শাল, টাকার থলি, BSB BSB: their festive robes, capes, cloaks, and purses;
23 ULB হাত আয়না, ভালো শনের, পাগড়ী আর ওড়না কেড়ে নেবেন। BSB BSB: and their mirrors, linen garments, tiaras, and shawls.
24 ULB সুগন্ধের বদলে দুর্গন্ধ থাকবে এবং কোমর-বন্ধনীর বদলে দড়ি, ভালো করে চুল বাধার বদলে টাকপড়া এবং পোশাকের বদলে চট, আর সৌন্দর্যের বদলে দাগ থাকবে। BSB BSB: Instead of fragrance there will be a stench; instead of a belt, a rope; instead of styled hair, baldness; instead of fine clothing, sackcloth; instead of beauty, shame.
25 ULB তোমার লোকেরা তরোয়ালের আঘাতে পতিত হবে এবং তোমার শক্তিশালী লোকেরা যুদ্ধে মারা পড়বে। BSB BSB: Your men will fall by the sword, and your warriors in battle.
26 ULB সিয়োনের দরজাগুলো বিলাপ ও শোক করবে এবং সে একাকী হবে ও মাটিতে বসবে। BSB BSB: And the gates of Zion will lament and mourn; destitute, she will sit on the ground.
