4 ULB আমার জন্য, আমার অভিযোগ কি কোন মানুষের কাছে? কেন আমি ধৈয্যহীন হব না? BSB BSB: Is my complaint against a man? Then why should I not be impatient?
5 ULB আমার দিকে তাকাও এবং অবাক হবে এবং তোমাদের মুখের ওপর হাত দাও। BSB BSB: Look at me and be appalled; put your hand over your mouth.
6 ULB যখন আমি আমার কষ্টের বিষয়ে চিন্তা করি, আমি সমস্যায় পড়ি এবং আমার মাংস আতঙ্কিত হয়। BSB BSB: When I remember, terror takes hold, and my body trembles in horror.
7 ULB কেন পাপীরা বেঁচে থাকে, বৃদ্ধ হয় এবং পরাক্রমের শক্তিতে বৃদ্ধি পায়? BSB BSB: Why do the wicked live on, growing old and increasing in power?
8 ULB তাদের বংশধাররা তাদের চোখের সামনে তাদের সঙ্গে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হচ্ছে এবং তাদের সন্তানসন্ততিরা তাদের চোখের সামনে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হচ্ছে। BSB BSB: Their descendants are established around them, and their offspring before their eyes.
9 ULB তাদের বাড়িঘর ভয় থেকে নিরাপদ; না তাদের ওপর ঈশ্বরের লাঠি আছে। BSB BSB: Their homes are safe from fear; no rod of punishment from God is upon them.
10 ULB তাদের ষাঁড় বংশবৃদ্ধি করে; তা এটা করতে ব্যর্থ হয় না; তাদের গরু বাচ্চা জন্ম দেয় এবং গাভীন তার বাছুর হারায় না। BSB BSB: Their bulls breed without fail; their cows bear calves and do not miscarry.
11 ULB তারা তাদের বাচ্চাদের পালের মত বাইরে পাঠায় এবং তাদের শিশুরা নাচে। BSB BSB: They send forth their little ones like a flock; their children skip about,
12 ULB তারা তবলা ও বিনে গান করে এবং বাঁশির সুরে আনন্দ করে। BSB BSB: singing to the tambourine and lyre and making merry at the sound of the flute.
13 ULB তারা সৌভাগ্যে তাদের জীবন যাপন করে এবং তারা নিঃশব্দে পাতালে নেমে যায়। BSB BSB: They spend their days in prosperity and go down to Sheol in peace.
14 ULB তারা ঈশ্বরকে বলে, ‘আমাদের থেকে চলে যাও কারণ আমরা তোমার পথ জানতে চাই না। BSB BSB: Yet they say to God: ‘Leave us alone! For we have no desire to know Your ways.
15 ULB সর্বশক্তিমান কে যে আমাদের তাঁর উপাসনা করা উচিত? যদি আমরা তাঁর কাছে প্রার্থনা করি তাহলে আমাদের কি লাভ হবে?’ BSB BSB: Who is the Almighty, that we should serve Him, and what would we gain if we pray to Him?’
16 ULB দেখ, তাদের উন্নতি কি তাদের হাতেই নেই? পাপীদের পরামর্শ আমার থেকে দূরে। BSB BSB: Still, their prosperity is not in their own hands, so I stay far from the counsel of the wicked.
17 ULB কতবার পাপীদের প্রদীপ নেভান হয় অথবা কতবার যে তাদের ওপর বিপদ আসে? কতবার এটা ঘটেছে যে ঈশ্বর তাঁর ক্রোধে তাদের কষ্ট ভাগ করেছেন? BSB BSB: How often is the lamp of the wicked put out? Does disaster come upon them? Does God, in His anger, apportion destruction?
18 ULB কতবার তারা বাতাসের সামনে শুকনো নাড়ার মত হয় অথবা তুষের মত হয় যে ঝড় উড়িয়ে নিয়ে যায়? BSB BSB: Are they like straw before the wind, like chaff swept away by a storm?
19 ULB তোমরা বল, ‘ঈশ্বর একজনের অপরাধের দায় তার সন্তানদের জন্য রাখেছেন;’ তাকে নিজেকেই এটা ভোগ করতে দাও, যাতে সে জানতে পারে তার অপরাধ। BSB BSB: It is said that God lays up one’s punishment for his children. Let God repay the man himself, so he will know it.
20 ULB তার চোখ তার নিজের ধ্বংস দেখুক এবং তাকে সর্বশক্তিমানের ক্রোধ পান করেতে দাও। BSB BSB: Let his eyes see his own destruction; let him drink for himself the wrath of the Almighty.
21 ULB যখন তার মাসের সংখা অর্দ্ধেক করা হয়েছে, তখন কি কারণে সে তার পরিবারের বিষয়ে চিন্তা করে? BSB BSB: For what does he care about his household after him, when the number of his months has run out?
22 ULB কেউ কি ঈশ্বরকে জ্ঞানের শিক্ষা দিতে পারে, যেহেতু যারা উচ্চ তিনি তাদেরও বিচার করেন? BSB BSB: Can anyone teach knowledge to God, since He judges those on high?
23 ULB একজন মানুষ তার পূর্ণ শক্তিতে মারা যায়, একেবারে শান্তিতে এবং আরামে। BSB BSB: One man dies full of vigor, completely secure and at ease.
24 ULB তার ভান্ডার সকল দুধে পূর্ণ এবং তার হাড়ের মজ্জা সতেজ। BSB BSB: His body is well nourished, and his bones are rich with marrow.
25 ULB আরেকজন মানুষ প্রাণের তিক্ততায় মরে, যে কখনও ভাল কিছুর অভিজ্ঞতা করে নি। BSB BSB: Yet another man dies in the bitterness of his soul, having never tasted prosperity.
26 ULB তারা সমানভাবে ধূলোয় শুয়ে পরবে; তাদের দুজনকেই পোকায় ঢাকে। BSB BSB: But together they lie down in the dust, and worms cover them both.
27 ULB দেখ, আমি জানি তোমার চিন্তা এবং সেই পথ যাতে তোমরা আমার খারাপ চাও। BSB BSB: Behold, I know your thoughts full well, the schemes by which you would wrong me.
28 ULB কারণ তোমরা বল, ‘রাজকুমারের বাড়ি এখন কোথায়? সেই তাঁবু কোথায় যাতে একসময় পাপীরা বাস করত?’ BSB BSB: For you say, ‘Where now is the nobleman’s house, and where are the tents in which the wicked dwell?’
29 ULB তোমরা কি কখন পথিকদের জিজ্ঞাসা কর নি? তোমরা কি জান না সেই প্রমাণ তারা দিতে পারে, BSB BSB: Have you never asked those who travel the roads? Do you not accept their reports?
30 ULB দুষ্টকে ধ্বংসের দিন পর্যন্ত রাখা হয় এবং যাতে সে ক্রোধের দিনের থেকে রক্ষা পায়? BSB BSB: Indeed, the evil man is spared from the day of calamity, delivered from the day of wrath.
31 ULB দুষ্টের সামনে কে তার পথের জন্য তাকে দোষী করবে? সে যা করেছে তার জন্য কে তাকে প্রতিফল দেবে? BSB BSB: Who denounces his behavior to his face? Who repays him for what he has done?
32 ULB তবুও সে কবরে জন্ম নেবে; লোকেরা তার কবরের ওপর লক্ষ রাখবে। BSB BSB: He is carried to the grave, and watch is kept over his tomb.
33 ULB উপত্যকার মাটি তার কাছে মিষ্টি লাগবে; সমস্ত লোক তাকে অনুসরণ করবে, তার আগে অসংখ্য মানুষ যেমন সেখানে ছিল। BSB BSB: The clods of the valley are sweet to him; everyone follows behind him, and those before him are without number.
34 ULB নিরর্থক কোথায় তোমরা কেমন করে আমায় সান্ত্বনা দেবে, যেহেতু তোমাদের উত্তরে কিছুই নেই কিন্তু মিথ্যা রয়েছে?” BSB BSB: So how can you comfort me with empty words? For your answers remain full of falsehood.”
