The Descendants of Adam (1 Chronicles 1:1–3)

5 Brenton And all the days of Adam which he lived were nine hundred and thirty years, and he died. BSB BSB: So Adam lived a total of 930 years, and then he died.
6 Brenton Now Seth lived two hundred and five years, and begot Enos. BSB BSB: When Seth was 105 years old, he became the father of Enosh.
7 Brenton And Seth lived after his begetting Enos, seven hundred and seven years, and he begot sons and daughters. BSB BSB: And after he had become the father of Enosh, Seth lived 807 years and had other sons and daughters.
8 Brenton And all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years, and he died. BSB BSB: So Seth lived a total of 912 years, and then he died.
9 Brenton And Enos lived an hundred and ninety years, and begot Cainan. BSB BSB: When Enosh was 90 years old, he became the father of Kenan.
10 Brenton And Enos lived after his begetting Cainan, seven hundred and fifteen years, and he begot sons and daughters. BSB BSB: And after he had become the father of Kenan, Enosh lived 815 years and had other sons and daughters.
11 Brenton And all the days of Enos were nine hundred and five years, and he died. BSB BSB: So Enosh lived a total of 905 years, and then he died.
12 Brenton And Cainan lived an hundred and seventy years, and he begot Maleleel. BSB BSB: When Kenan was 70 years old, he became the father of Mahalalel.
13 Brenton And Cainan lived after his begetting Maleleel, seven hundred and forty years, and he begot sons and daughters. BSB BSB: And after he had become the father of Mahalalel, Kenan lived 840 years and had other sons and daughters.
14 Brenton And all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years, and he died. BSB BSB: So Kenan lived a total of 910 years, and then he died.
15 Brenton And Maleleel lived an hundred and sixty and five years, and he begot Jared. BSB BSB: When Mahalalel was 65 years old, he became the father of Jared.
16 Brenton And Maleleel lived after his begetting Jared, seven hundred and thirty years, and he begot sons and daughters. BSB BSB: And after he had become the father of Jared, Mahalalel lived 830 years and had other sons and daughters.
17 Brenton And all the days of Maleleel were eight hundred and ninety and five years, and he died. BSB BSB: So Mahalalel lived a total of 895 years, and then he died.

18 Brenton And Jared lived an hundred and sixty and two years, and begot Enoch: BSB BSB: When Jared was 162 years old, he became the father of Enoch.
19 Brenton and Jared lived after his begetting Enoch, eight hundred years, and he begot sons and daughters. BSB BSB: And after he had become the father of Enoch, Jared lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters.
20 Brenton And all the days of Jared were nine hundred and sixty and two years, and he died. BSB BSB: So Jared lived a total of 962 years, and then he died.
21 Brenton And Enoch lived an hundred and sixty and five years, and begat Mathusala. BSB BSB: When Enoch was 65 years old, he became the father of Methuselah.
22 Brenton And Enoch was well-pleasing to God after his begetting Mathusala, two hundred years, and he begot sons and daughters. BSB BSB: And after he had become the father of Methuselah, Enoch walked with God 300 years and had other sons and daughters.
23 Brenton And all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty and five years. BSB BSB: So Enoch lived a total of 365 years.
24 Brenton And Enoch was well-pleasing to God, and was not found, because God translated him. BSB BSB: Enoch walked with God, and then he was no more, because God had taken him away.
From Methuselah to Noah 25 Brenton And Mathusala lived an hundred and sixty and seven years, and begot Lamech. BSB BSB: When Methuselah was 187 years old, he became the father of Lamech.
26 Brenton And Mathusala lived after his begetting Lamech eight hundred and two years, and begot sons and daughters. BSB BSB: And after he had become the father of Lamech, Methuselah lived 782 years and had other sons and daughters.
27 Brenton And all the days of Mathusala which he lived, were nine hundred and sixty and nine years, and he died. BSB BSB: So Methuselah lived a total of 969 years, and then he died.
28 Brenton And Lamech lived an hundred and eighty and eight years, and begot a son. BSB BSB: When Lamech was 182 years old, he had a son.
29 Brenton And he called his name Noe, saying, This one will cause us to cease from our works, and from the toils of our hands, and from the earth, which the Lord God has cursed. BSB BSB: And he named him Noah, saying, “May this one comfort us in the labor and toil of our hands caused by the ground that the LORD has cursed.”
30 Brenton And Lamech lived after his begetting Noe, five hundred and sixty and five years, and begot sons and daughters. BSB BSB: And after he had become the father of Noah, Lamech lived 595 years and had other sons and daughters.
31 Brenton And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred and fifty-three years, and he died. BSB BSB: So Lamech lived a total of 777 years, and then he died.
32 Brenton And Noe was five hundred years old, and he begot three sons, Sem, Cham, and Japheth. BSB BSB: After Noah was 500 years old, he became the father of Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
