Bring to the Lord, ye sons of God, bring to the Lord young rams; bring to the Lord glory and honour. BSB BSB: A Psalm of David. Ascribe to the LORD, O heavenly beings, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.
2 Brenton Bring to the Lord glory, due to his name; worship the Lord in his holy court. BSB BSB: Ascribe to the LORD the glory due His name; worship the LORD in the splendor of His holiness.
3 Brenton The voice of the Lord is upon the waters: the God of glory has thundered: the Lord is upon many waters. BSB BSB: The voice of the LORD is over the waters; the God of glory thunders; the LORD is heard over many waters.
4 Brenton The voice of the Lord is mighty; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty. BSB BSB: The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is majestic.
5 Brenton There is the voice of the Lord who breaks the cedars; the Lord will break the cedars of Libanus.BSB BSB: The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars; the LORD shatters the cedars of Lebanon.
6 Brenton And he will beat them small, even Libanus itself, like a calf; and the beloved one is as a young unicorn. BSB BSB: He makes Lebanon skip like a calf, and Sirion like a young wild ox.
7 Brenton There is a voice of the Lord who divides a flame of fire.BSB BSB: The voice of the LORD strikes with flames of fire.
8 Brenton A voice of the Lord who shakes the wilderness; the Lord will shake the wilderness of Cades. BSB BSB: The voice of the LORD shakes the wilderness; the LORD shakes the Wilderness of Kadesh.
9 Brenton The voice of the Lord strengthens the hinds, and will uncover the thickets: and in his temple every one speaks of his glory. BSB BSB: The voice of the LORD twists the oaks and strips the forests bare. And in His temple all cry, “Glory!”
10 Brenton The Lord will dwell on the waterflood: and the Lord will sit a king for ever. BSB BSB: The LORD sits enthroned over the flood; the LORD is enthroned as King forever.
11 Brenton The Lord will give strength to his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace. BSB BSB: The LORD gives His people strength; the LORD blesses His people with peace.
