1. 1BSWEየሱሳ ካላም አባባተ አይሁድኮክ ምን ካኤብ ቶስ ታበ፥ ኤሴና ገነ ካናፋተረ እባዶት ኮ ግረ።BSBBSB: Once again Jesus entered the synagogue, and a man with a withered hand was there.
2. 2BSWEኣላንቲና የሱሳ ሞትን ካዶታረ እባዶ ታፎልሲ አሪ ጎፋይሳሮ ዴና፥ አመረን ኦራ ግረን።BSBBSB: In order to accuse Jesus, they were watching to see if He would heal on the Sabbath.
3. 3BSWEየሱሳና ገነ ካናፋተረ እባዶትነ “ክንጉዴ እሶ ጠኤ አሊና” አመ።BSBBSB: Then Jesus said to the man with the withered hand, “Stand up among us.”
4. 4BSWEኤሰኮ አባባተረ “አፎ ታፎልሲ አርዉን ፈኢ ካኮስሳንተታ ታኢዳን ፈሊንያ ሙ ታሜላን ፈሊንያ? ኔፎ ፋይሳኖያ ሙ ባሳኖያ?” አመ እሶ ሆሳተ፥ እሶና አደነ ጫልኢ አመን።BSBBSB: And He asked them, “Which is lawful on the Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to save life or to destroy it?” But they were silent.
5. 5BSWEየሱሳ ዎዳናትሶ ዱዳኖን ጋዴጉረ ኡሱ ማራሙረነ ኦአሌራን ኢኦነ ዴጉረ እባዶትነ፥ “ገነታ ድሪርሳ!” አመ፥ እባዶትና ገነ ድሪርሳተ ገነተሳና ዱዶ ፋይተ።BSBBSB: Jesus looked around at them with anger and sorrow at their hardness of heart. Then He said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” So he stretched it out, and it was restored.
6. 6BSWEጎርሰዋ እባዶ ካፋራሳው ቤጉረ ምስ የል የሱሳ ባስናራን ኡና ታሄሮዶሳነ ዎታ ማካረን።BSBBSB: At this, the Pharisees went out and began plotting with the Herodians how they might kill Jesus.
7. 7BSWEየሱሳ ኡሱኮ ኦአጋልሳታራነ ዎታ ታጋሊላ ላቡ ቶስ ዳገ፥ ጋሊላኮ ካኤመተራ ኣሎ ካሞጋን ጎሳ ዴበ ሰሴተ፥BSBBSB: So Jesus withdrew with His disciples to the sea, accompanied by a large crowd from Galilee, Judea,
8. 8BSWEኡሱ ካፈላሮ አየስ ካማለራ እባዶ ጋሊላኮ፥ ይሁዳኮ፥ ኢየሩሳለምኮ፥ ኤዶምያስኮ፥ ዮርዳኖስኮ ጋማ ካግሮ ማማንኮ፥ ኡሱማለና ታጢሮሳኮና ታስዶና ካታማልኮ ኡሱ ቶስ ኤመተን።BSBBSB: Jerusalem, Idumea, the region beyond the Jordan, and the vicinity of Tyre and Sidon. The large crowd came to Him when they heard what great things He was doing.
9. 9BSWEኩኩካአመረ ጎሳ ጎጎኡኒዕኖንኮ ትጫርት ዎላቦ ኦይሬን ኡሱን ጎጎኤካስራኑን የሱሳ ኡሱኮ ኦአጋልሳታራኑን አጃጄ።BSBBSB: Jesus asked His disciples to have a boat ready for Him so that the crowd would not crush Him.
10. 10BSWEካሞጋን እባዶ ፋይሰ ማንኮ ግረ ማራን፥ ꬉኩባ ካራካታረ ዱባ ገነትሶይ ኡሱ ድንን ዶታታ ግረን።BSBBSB: For He had healed so many that all who had diseases were pressing forward to touch Him.
11. 11BSWEባቲክ አያናጆልና የሱሳ ካኮድያረን ጎራታ ሆረ እያ “አት ኤረ ካዋታ፥” አማ እያ ግረን።BSBBSB: And when the unclean spirits saw Him, they fell down before Him and cried out, “You are the Son of God!”
12. 12BSWEየሱሳ ጎአመን አዮናትኬሳ እሶ በስ ጎጎአየሶንኮ አታይሰ ሀድሰ።BSBBSB: But He warned them sternly not to make Him known.
13. 13BSWEየሱሳ ዎዳም ቶስ ቤጉረ ኡሱ ኦዶተራ ኡሱ ቶስ ጎጎኤሜራዉን ኡመ፥ እሶና እሶነ ዎታ ኦግረን ኢሴንጉሬን ኡሱ ቶስ ኤመተን።BSBBSB: Then Jesus went up on the mountain and called for those He wanted, and they came to Him.
14. 14BSWEኡሱነ ዎታ ጎጎግራዉና፥ ጎጎላላብናዉን ፋርን አመረ ቶሞንኮ ላማ ሹመ፥ ኦፋራመራን አመ እሶ ኡመ።BSBBSB: He appointed twelve of them, whom He designated as apostles, to accompany Him, to be sent out to preach,
15. 15BSWEዱርሳ ጎጎቤስናዉና ኦዶናት ስሰ።BSBBSB: and to have authority to drive out demons.
16. 16BSWEኦሹማሜራን ቶሞንኮ ላማና ህናኣያን፥ እሶና ጴጢሮሳ አመ ካኡመሮ ስሞና፥BSBBSB: These are the twelve He appointed: Simon (whom He named Peter),
17. 17BSWEቦአነረገስ ጎርቱን፥ ካድድዴና ይስ አመ መገ ካቤሰሮ ካዛብዶሳ ይስ ያይቆባ አቢኬሳ ያንሳ፥BSBBSB: James son of Zebedee and his brother John (whom He named Boanerges, meaning “Sons of Thunder”),
18. 18BSWEእንድራሳነ፥ ፍልጶሳነ፥ በርተሎሜዎሳነ፥ ማቶሳ፥ ቶማሳ፥ ካኢልፎሳ ኤረ፥ ያይቆባ፥ ታድዎሳ፥ ኡልኬሳ ካሀኡሳታሮ ስሞና፥BSBBSB: Andrew, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James son of Alphaeus, Thaddaeus, Simon the Zealot,
19. 19BSWEኡሱማለና የሱሳ ሮርሰ ካስሰሮ ካአስቆሮቱ ኡልኮክ ይሁዳ።BSBBSB: and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed Jesus.
20. 20BSWEኤሰኮና የሱሳ አባባተ ኡሱ ምን ቶስ ታበ፥ የሱሳና ኡሱኮ ኦአጋልሳታረነ ባቦ ኣምን ታዋናኒ ጎሳ አደ ሞጋተ ኩኩመ።BSBBSB: Then Jesus went home, and once again a crowd gathered, so that He and His disciples could not even eat.
21. 21BSWE“የሱሳ ዎዳና ቆላመራ” አማማኖ ካማለራ ፋልኬሳ ኡሱ አታይሴዪን ኡሱ ማንኮግሮ ኤመተ።BSBBSB: When His family heard about this, they went out to take custody of Him, saying, “He is out of His mind.”
22. 22BSWEኢየሩሳለምኮ ኦኤሜተሬን ሴራ ካሙሴ ኦአጋልስሳረን፥ “ኡሱ ዱርሳኮክ ዎይቻ አባ! ዱርሳ ካኮቤሳራና ካዱርሳ ዎይቻያ” አመን።BSBBSB: And the scribes who had come down from Jerusalem were saying, “He is possessed by Beelzebul,” and, “By the prince of the demons He drives out demons.”
23. 23BSWEየሱሳ ጎሳ እስ ቶስ ኡመጉረ ማሱሳ ሃ አመ፥ ጻላየ ጻላየ ምሲ ቤስን ዳንዳታ?BSBBSB: So Jesus called them together and began to speak to them in parables: “How can Satan drive out Satan?
24. 24BSWEዎኖ ኮ እስእስ ኦሮ ካለካለ ጎቤ ሀሱ ዎኖናት አታይን ላኮዳንዳሮ።BSBBSB: If a kingdom is divided against itself, it cannot stand.
25. 25BSWEኡሱማለና ምንኮክ እባዶ እስእስኦሮ ካለካለ ጎቤ አራኣይ አልን ላኮዳንዳሮ።BSBBSB: If a house is divided against itself, it cannot stand.
26. 26BSWEኡሱማሌ ጻላየ እስእስ ኦሮ እስካዲዳቶና ካለካለ ካበያቶ ጎሌተ ባታ ኳሬ አታይ አልን ላኮዳንዳቶ።BSBBSB: And if Satan is divided and rises against himself, he cannot stand; his end has come.
27. 27BSWEሀሱኮ ካከይ እባዶት ኮ ጣይ ሁናሜሳክ እባዶት ሀንሺኖን ግራን ሁናሜሳ እባዶትኮክ ምን ታብረ ኡራዎ ሳሚን ላኮዳንዳሮ፥ ምንኬሳ ሳሚን ካኮዳንዳራ ሁናሜሳክ እባዶት ጎሺየ ካላልያ።BSBBSB: Indeed, no one can enter a strong man’s house to steal his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man. Then he can plunder his house.
28. 28BSWE“አን ሩምና አማራ፥ እባዶ ካፈላራ ጩቦና ካሀባራራ ሀባር ዱባ ሻጋ ሌሮዋ፥BSBBSB: Truly I tell you, the sons of men will be forgiven all sins and blasphemies, as many as they utter.
29. 29BSWEአየሱን ጎአመን አያና ቁሉክ ካሀባራራ ዱባ ጅሩ ጅሮማት አንዛ አባ ኳሬ ኡሱን ሀሄሶ ላኮአማምናሮ።”BSBBSB: But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; he is guilty of eternal sin.”
30. 30BSWEየሱሳ ሂካ ካኮን አዬሰራ “ባቲክ አያና አባ” ማንኮአሜን ማራንያ።BSBBSB: Jesus made this statement because they were saying, “He has an unclean spirit.”
31. 31BSWEኤሰኮ አባባተረ ኣየ ታየሱሳና አቢላልቴሳ ኡሱ ቶስ ኤመተን፥ ሳሬ አሌረነ እባዶ ኡሱ ቶስ ፋረን ኡምስሴን።BSBBSB: Then Jesus’ mother and brothers came and stood outside. They sent someone in to summon Him,
32. 32BSWEኡሱ ማረአበ ካሀማጼሬ ካሞጋን እባዶና፥ “ህኒዕማ ኣየታና አብላልታና ሳሬ አሌነን ኩ ዶታራን አመን ኡሱን ሰገን።”BSBBSB: and a crowd was sitting around Him. “Look,” He was told, “Your mother and brothers are outside, asking for You.”
33. 33BSWEኡሱና፥ “ኣየትና አቢላልት አዮስያን?” አመ አባበ።BSBBSB: But Jesus replied, “Who are My mother and My brothers?”
34. 34BSWEኡሱ ማረአበ ካሃማጼረ እባዶ ቶስ ዲያ ሃ አመ “ኣየትና አቢላልት ህናኣያን!BSBBSB: Looking at those seated in a circle around Him, He said, “Here are My mother and My brothers!
35. 35BSWEፈኢ ታዋ ካፈላራ ዱባ ኡሱ አቢኬ፥ አባቴና፥ ኣየቴያን” አመ።BSBBSB: For whoever does the will of God is My brother and sister and mother.”
