1. 1BSWEአሪ ሌኮ አባባተረ የሱሳ ጰጢሮሳኔ፥ ያይቆባነ፥ ኡሱማሌ ካያይቆባ አቢ ያንሳኔ ዎዳም ቶ ታንጂንት ጦቂ ታአንተ ቶስ ካለ ኣተ ቤ።BSBBSB: After six days Jesus took with Him Peter, James, and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves.
2. 2BSWEኤሰ እሶ ሆረ ምዲቴሳና ኢግልሳንተ፥ ሆረቴሳ አርት ኣን ሀንቃይተ፥ ሳርስኬሳና ኢፋ ኣን ዎላ አመ ሀንቃየ።BSBBSB: There He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.
3. 3BSWEኤሰኮና ሙሴና ኤላሳና የሱሳነ ዎታ አዬሳ ግራን ሙተን።BSBBSB: Suddenly Moses and Elijah appeared before them, talking with Jesus.
4. 4BSWEጴጢሮሳና የሱሳነ፥ “ጎታ! ኖ ህታኒ ግርነዋ ኖዬን ካእዳንያ፤ ፈኢታ ጎሌተ ዳሰ ቶ ኩዬን፥ ቶ ሙሴን፥ ቶ ኤላሳን ዳሰ ሴድ አን ማዳሮ” አመ።BSBBSB: Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here. If You wish, I will put up three shelters—one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”
5. 5BSWEኡሱና አዬሳ ግራን ካሀንቃራ ዱማንቻ ካጉማር እሶ ሆጎግሰረ ዱማንቻይ ኦሮ፥ “አን ኡሱይ ካኮገገላይናራና አን ካጌላታራ ኤረክ ሂካያ፥ ኡሱና ማላ” ታአማታ ያየ ማልሳንተ።BSBBSB: While Peter was still speaking, a bright cloud enveloped them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Listen to Him!”
6. 6BSWEኡሱኮ ኦአጋልሳታረና ሂካ ካኮማላረን ጎራታ ኔንጉረን ሆረሆረ ኡል እዬን።BSBBSB: When the disciples heard this, they fell facedown in terror.
7. 7BSWEየሱሳና እሶ ቶስ ጋባላመረ ድንድነጉረ፥ “ክያ፥ አሮአብሳቴን” አመ።BSBBSB: Then Jesus came over and touched them. “Get up,” He said. “Do not be afraid.”
8. 8BSWEእሶ ጦቂ አም ጎዴራን የሱሳ ኳሬ ካካለ ማዮና ላኮዴራን።BSBBSB: And when they looked up, they saw no one except Jesus.
9. 9BSWEዎዳም ጉኮ ዳጋግራን የሱሳ፥ “ኤረ ካእባዶ ጎይኮ ታኬሮ ጊን ካዴተታን ማዮና አሮአዬሴን” አመ አጃጄ።BSBBSB: As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus commanded them, “Do not tell anyone about this vision until the Son of Man has been raised from the dead.”
10. 10BSWEኡሱኮ ኦአጋልሳታረና፥ “ሀያ ሴራ ካሙሴ ኦአጋልስሳራን ኤላሳ ጣይ ኤመታኖ ዶትሳራ ካኮአማራን ሙንያ?” አመን የሱሳ ሆሳተን።BSBBSB: The disciples asked Him, “Why then do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?”
11. 11BSWEኡሱና እሶን አባበረ፥ “ኦግራን ኤላሳ ኤሜይጉረ ካአመን ዱባና ጋቾኤካስራ፤BSBBSB: Jesus replied, “Elijah does indeed come, and he will restore all things.
12. 12BSWEአየሱን ጎአመን አን ሃ አማራ፥ ኤላሳ ጣየ ኤመተራ፥ ጎሌና ካዶታተራን አየስ ፈላቴራን ኳሬ ላኮአዴሴራን፤ ኡሱማለና ኤረ ካእባዶ ገነትሶይ ራኮ አታይናራ።”BSBBSB: But I tell you that Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him, but have done to him whatever they wished. In the same way, the Son of Man will suffer at their hands.”
13. 13BSWEሀሱ ጎራታ የሱሳኮ ኦአጋልሳታረን ኡሱ ካአዬሰራ አየስ ካጣማቃሮ ያንሳኮክ ጋራ ላኖ አዴሰን።BSBBSB: Then the disciples understood that He was speaking to them about John the Baptist.
14. 14BSWEየሱሳና ሴዶ ኡሱኮ ኦአጋልሳታረን ጎሳ ቶስ ካኮአባባቴረን ጎራታ እባዶት ኮ የሱሳ ቶስ ጋባላመ ሆረ ግልቢሰረ ሃ አመ፤BSBBSB: When they came to the crowd, a man came up to Jesus and knelt before Him.
15. 15BSWE“ጎታ! ማጋኔ ኡኑኬዉን ነኔኤይሳ፥” ኡሱ “ካጋጋዱ ሀዉኣሚ አቦሳራ፥ ጋማ ካሆር ኤለን ኦሮዴ ኢያና በከ ኦሮዴ ታባራ።BSBBSB: “Lord, have mercy on my son,” he said. “He has seizures and is suffering terribly. He often falls into the fire or into the water.
16. 16BSWEኩኮ ኦአጋልሳታራን ቶንሳ አን ኬነራ አየሱን ጎአመን እሶ ፋይስን ላኮዳንዴራን።”BSBBSB: I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not heal him.”
17. 17BSWEየሱሳና፥ “እስን ኦአማኖና ታዎጫጫንተ አላታን አን ሀጌ ታጌሮን እስኔ ዎታ ግርናራ? ሀጌ ታ ጌሮን ኦብስናራ? ኡኑ ሂታራ እን ቶስ ኬና” አመ።BSBBSB: “O unbelieving and perverse generation!” Jesus replied. “How long must I remain with you? How long must I put up with you? Bring the boy here to Me.”
18. 18BSWEኤሰኮና የሱሳ ባቲክ አያና ሀድሰጉረ ቤሰ። ኡኑና ሀሱ ጎራታኮ ሀጋአበረ ፋዬ።BSBBSB: Then Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed from that moment.
19. 19BSWEኡሱኮ ኦአጋልሳታረን ካለ ቤን የሱሳ ቶስ ጋባላመንጉረን፥ “ኖ ባቲክ አያና ኡኑኮ ቤስን ካኮዋኔና መዉንያ?” አመን ሆሳተን።BSBBSB: Afterward the disciples came to Jesus privately and asked, “Why couldn’t we drive it out?”
20. 20BSWEየሱሳና፥ “አማኖክስን ማንኮሀንቃተሮ ማራንያ። አን ሩምና አማራ፥ ታስናፍጭ ኢል ግታክ አማኖ እስኑን ግረዋ፥ ህታ ዎዳም፥ ‘ሂታኮ ክንጉዴ ቶላዴ ሴ!’ ጎአንቴን ሴታተዋ፥ እስኑን ካሌኖን ኮኮ ላኮግሮ። [BSBBSB: “Because you have so little faith,” He answered. “For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

22. 22BSWEኡል ካጋሊላይ ኡሱኮ ኦአጋልሳታራን ኩኩሜን ግራን የሱሳ እሶነ ሃ አመ፥ “ኤረ ካእባዶ ገነ ታእባዶይ ሮር ስሳምናራ፤BSBBSB: When they gathered together in Galilee, Jesus told them, “The Son of Man is about to be delivered into the hands of men.
23. 23BSWEላጋድናራን፥ ኡሱና ታሴድ አሪ ጎይኮ ኪናራ” ኡሱኮ ኦአጋልሳታረና ኣሎ ጋዴን።BSBBSB: They will kill Him, and on the third day He will be raised to life.” And the disciples were deeply grieved.
24. 24BSWEየሱሳና ኡሱኮ ኦአጋልሳታረን ቅፍረናሆም ቶስ ካኮግያረን ጎራታ ቁሉክ ምን ካዋኮክ ጊራ ኦአባባሬን ጴጢሮሳ ቶስ ጋባላመንጉረን፥ “ካአጋልስሳራክስን ቁሉክ ምን ካዋኮክ ጊራ ላኮሙራሮያ?” አመን።BSBBSB: After they had arrived in Capernaum, the collectors of the two-drachma tax came to Peter and asked, “Does your Teacher pay the two drachmas?”
25. 25BSWEጴጢሮሳና፥ “እ ሙራራ” አመ። ጴጢሮሳ ምን ኦሮዴ ጎጎታቤይ፥ የሱሳ ሆራርጀ፥ “ስሞና! ካኡሌ ዎኖጆልኮክ ጊራ ጎርቱን ቃራጣ ካኮአትናራን ካኡሌ እባዶኮያ ሙ ካካለኮ ኣን ላራ?” አመ።BSBBSB: “Yes,” he answered. When Peter entered the house, Jesus preempted him. “What do you think, Simon?” He asked. “From whom do the kings of the earth collect customs and taxes: from their own sons, or from others?”
26. 26BSWEጴጢሮሳና፥ “ካካለኮያ ካኮአታማራ” አመ። የሱሳና፥ “ጎርታኑን ይሳስክስን ታጊራ ሙራኮ ሄሰራ።BSBBSB: “From others,” Peter answered. “Then the sons are exempt,” Jesus said to him.
27. 27BSWE“ጎሌና ኖ እሶን ሀንዱዱፎ ጎጎሌኖንኮ ላቡ ቶስ ዳግጉደ ማንጣቆ ሉጉዳ፥ ሆራርጀ ካአባቶ ኩኑኡብ ኣትጉደ ህኢ ጎጎባንተይ ማራጋደ ሄልናታ፥ ሀሱ ኣትጉደ እን ማራንትኑና መገካ ማራን ሙር” አመ።BSBBSB: “But so that we may not offend them, go to the sea, cast a hook, and take the first fish you catch. When you open its mouth, you will find a four-drachma coin. Take it and give it to them for My tax and yours.”
