1. 1BSWEየሱሳ ሂካ አዬሰ ጉድሰጉረ ኡል ካጋሊላኮ ኬጉረ ላጋ ካዮርዳኖስኮ ጋማ ካግሮ ኡል ካይሁዳ ሴተ።BSBBSB: When Jesus had finished saying these things, He left Galilee and went into the region of Judea beyond the Jordan.
2. 2BSWEጎሳ ካሞጋና ኡሱ ዴበ ሰሴተ፥ ኤሴና እሶ ፋይሰ።BSBBSB: Large crowds followed Him, and He healed them there.
3. 3BSWEፋራሳዊልና የሱሳ ጫፍን ዶተን ኡሱ ቶስ ጋባላመንረን፥ “እባዶት ኮ ማምስት ኣላንቲና ኦርቴሳ ከልክ አም ቤስን ፈኢ ስሳንተታ?” አመን ሆሳተን።BSBBSB: Then some Pharisees came and tested Him by asking, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any reason?”
4. 4BSWEየሱሳና እሶን አባበረ፥ “እሶ ካመጠራ ዋ ሆራርጀ ባባርና ሄለል የለ ካመጠሮ ላኮናባብቴታንያ?BSBBSB: Jesus answered, “Have you not read that from the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’
5. 5BSWEሃንሱን፥ ‘እባዶ ኣቦኬሳና ኣየቴሳ ኢሰጉረ ኦርቴሳነ ዎታ ቁራናማራ፥ እሶ ላማና ማር ኮ ላራን ካአማመራ ላ ሂካኮት ኣላንቲዮላ’?BSBBSB: and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’?
6. 6BSWEጎርታኑ ማር ኮያን ኳሬ ላኮላማያን። ሃንሱን ዋ ካቁራኔሮ እባዶ ላኮፉሮ።”BSBBSB: So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate.”
7. 7BSWEፋራሳዊልና፥ “ሀያ ሙሴ ባባርትት ኮ ኦርቴሳ ከልክ አማኖን ካሌሮ ዎራቃታ ስስ ኦርቴሳ ጎጎጋፋሮን ‘ሙን አጃጄ?’ አመን።”BSBBSB: “Why then,” they asked, “did Moses order a man to give his wife a certificate of divorce and send her away?”
8. 8BSWEየሱሳና፥ “ሙሴ ዎዳናትስንኮክ አታን ዴጉረ ኦርጆልክስን ከልክ ጎጎአንታኑን ፈኢ ስሰራ ኳሬ ጣየ ላኮሃየ።BSBBSB: Jesus replied, “Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because of your hardness of heart. But it was not this way from the beginning.
9. 9BSWEአን ጎአመን ሃ አማራ፥ ኤንተርክሰ ግራን ካካለኔ ዎታ ሻርሙጣ ጎሙተ ኳሬ ኦርቴሳ ከልክ አመ ጋፋረጉረ ታካለ ሄለልትቲ ኦር ካየላታራ ዱባ ካሻርሙጣሮያ” አመ።BSBBSB: Now I tell you that whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.”
10. 10BSWEየሱሳኮ ኦአጋልሳታረና፤ “ታኤንተሬና ታኦሪ ሃጃ ሂካማሌ ጎሌተ ኦር አታታኖ ኢሳጋኖ ሆረክ” አመን።BSBBSB: His disciples said to Him, “If this is the case between a man and his wife, it is better not to marry.”
11. 11BSWEየሱሳ ጎአመን፥ “ሂክ ዋኮ ካስሳመ ጎሌ ኳሬ ሂካ አየስ ማዮና አታይን ላኮዳንዳሮ።BSBBSB: “Not everyone can accept this word,” He replied, “but only those to whom it has been given.
12. 12BSWEኣላንቲና ኮኮ አላታ ሳንጎመ ካአላታራ ግራ፥ ካካለ ገነ ታእባዶቲ ጎሳመ ካሳንግሳማራ ግራ፥ አደና ዎኖናት ካዳሩረዉን አመንጉረን ኦር ሀአታኖን ኦግራን ግራን፥ ሂካ አታይን ካዶታታራ ሀአታቶ” አመ።BSBBSB: For there are eunuchs who were born that way; others were made that way by men; and still others live like eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. The one who can accept this should accept it.”
13. 13BSWEኤሰኮና ገነቴሳ እሶ ጉት ካይጉረ ጎጎኤባሮን እባዶ ይሳስ የሱሳ ቶስ ኬን፤ ኡሱኮ ኦአጋልሳታረና አደን ይሳስ ካኬናሮ እባዶ ሀድሴን።BSBBSB: Then little children were brought to Jesus for Him to place His hands on them and pray for them. And the disciples rebuked those who brought them.
14. 14BSWEየሱሳና፥ “ኢሳ ይስ እን ቶስ ሀኤመቶ አሮትርቴን፥ ዎኖናት ካዳሩረ እሶ ኣንክክንያ።”BSBBSB: But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them! For the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
15. 15BSWEገነተሳና እሶ ጉት ካየ አባባተረ ኤሰ ባንኤኮ ኬጉረ ሴተ።BSBBSB: And after He had placed His hands on them, He went on from there.
16. 16BSWEኤሰኮና እባዶት ኮ የሱሳ ቶስ ኤመተጉረ፥ “ካአጋልስሳቶ! ጅሩ ጅሮማክ ግር ሄላይን መ ካእዳንክ አየስ ፈላ?” አመ ሆሳተ።BSBBSB: Just then a man came up to Jesus and inquired, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to obtain eternal life?”
17. 17BSWEየሱሳና፥ “ካእዳን አዬስኮክ ጋራ እን ሙን ሆሳታ? ካእዳንክ ካሌራ አየስ ኮ ካላልያ፥ ጅሩ ጅሮማክ ግር ቶስ ታብን ጎዶታተ አድ አጃጃኬ ኦራ፥” አመ።BSBBSB: “Why do you ask Me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, keep the commandments.”
18. 18BSWEዎዳላትና፥ “ኤክ አጃጃ?” ሃ አመ ሆሳተ። የሱሳና፥ “አሮላጋደ፥ አሮሻርሙጢተ፥ አሮሄቴ፥ ጣራ አሮአቶቲተ፥ አመ።BSBBSB: “Which ones?” the man asked. Jesus answered, “‘Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not bear false witness,
19. 19BSWEኣቦካና ኣየታ ካባጂና፥ ኦላታና እስኦታ ኣን ጌላ” አመ።BSBBSB: honor your father and mother, and love your neighbor as yourself.’”
20. 20BSWEዎዳላትና፥ “ሂካ ዱባ ኦራዬራ፥” ሂካኮ ካካለ “ካሀንቃተራ መያ ካግራ?” አመ።BSBBSB: “All these I have kept,” said the young man. “What do I still lack?”
21. 21BSWEየሱሳና፥ “ቁሉ ሊን ጎዶታተ ሴጉዴ ኦአብቶ ኡራዎኦታ ዱባ ዳዳልደ ማራጋደ ህየሳን ስስ፤ ዳሩሪ ኡራዎ ሄላይናታ። ኤሰኮና ኤሜጉደ እን ዴበ ሰሴ” አመ።BSBBSB: Jesus told him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow Me.”
22. 22BSWEሂክ ዎዳላት ሂካ ካኮማላረ ጎራታ ኡራዎ ኦሞጋን ማንኮአቦ ማራን ያዳ ኢሰ ሴተ።BSBBSB: When the young man heard this, he went away in sorrow, because he had great wealth.
23. 23BSWEየሱሳና ኡሱኮ ኦአጋልሳታረነ፥ “አን ሩምና አማራ፤ ዱረሳ ዎኖናት ካዳሩረ ቶስ ታባኖ ኣሎ ቃራያ።BSBBSB: Then Jesus said to His disciples, “Truly I tell you, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.
24. 24BSWEአደና አን አማራ፥ ዱረሳ ዎኖናት ካዳሩረ ታባኖኮ ጋላ ቡቶ ካማርፍ ታባኖያ ኤነ ካሌራ” አመ።BSBBSB: Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”
25. 25BSWEየሱሳኮ ኦአጋልሳታረን ሂካ ማለንጉረን ኣሎ ማማ፥ “ሀያ አዮያ ፋይን ካዳንዴራ?” አመን ሆሳተን።BSBBSB: When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?”
26. 26BSWEየሱሳና እሶ ቶስ ዲያ፥ “ሂክ እባዶ ዶሌ ላኮዳንዳምሮ፥ ዋይ ዶሌ ጎአመን አየስ ዱባ ዳንዳማራ አመ።”BSBBSB: Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
27. 27BSWEጴጢሮሳና አባበረ፥ “ኖ ካመን ዱባ ኢንሰጉነ ኩ ዴበ ሰሴታና፥ ሀያ ኖ መ ሄላይናና?” አመ።BSBBSB: “Look,” Peter replied, “we have left everything to follow You. What then will there be for us?”
28. 28BSWEየሱሳና፥ “አን ሩምና አማራ፤ ካኤሜይናሮ ካኡሱብ አላም ኤረ ካእባዶ ካካባጃ ኮርፍንጄ ጉት ካኮሀማጼ ጎራታ እን ዴበ ኦሰሰያታን እስና ቶሞንኮ ላማ ኮርፍንጄ ጉት ሀማጺጉዴን ቶሞንኮ ላማ ታእስራኤል ኣኒ ጉት ፍርድናታን።BSBBSB: Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, in the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on His glorious throne, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
29. 29BSWEመገኬ ማራን አምረ ምንጆል፥ ጎርቱን አቢላል፥ ጎርቱን አባላል፥ ጎርቱን ኣቦ፥ ጎርቱን ኣዬ፥ ጎርቱን ይስ፥ ጎርቱን እራ ካኢሳራ ዱባ ቦልኮክ አምባ አታይናራ፥ ጅሩ ጅሮማክ ግርና ኤልናራን።BSBBSB: And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields for the sake of My name will receive a hundredfold and will inherit eternal life.
30. 30BSWEአየሱን ጎአመን ካሞጋን ካሆሬ ካሃረ ልናራን፤ ካሞጋን ካሃረና ካሆሬ ልናራን” አመ።BSBBSB: But many who are first will be last, and the last will be first.
