1. 1BSWEየሱሳ ዎዳምኮ ካኮዳጋረ ጎራታ ጎሳ ካሞጋን ኡሱ ዴበ ሰሴተ።BSBBSB: When Jesus came down from the mountain, large crowds followed Him.
2. 2BSWEሀሱ ጎራታ ማሪ ባር ካአባናየ እባዶት ኮ የሱሳ ቶስ ኤመተጉረ ሆረ ግልቢሰ ሳጋዳ፥ “ጎታ! ፈኢታ ጎሌተ እን ሙጭስን ዳንዳታ” አመ።BSBBSB: Suddenly a leper came and knelt before Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.”
3. 3BSWEየሱሳና ገነቴሳ ድሪርሳተጉረ ድንድና፥ “አን ኩን ፈኢ ስሰራ! ሙጭም!” አመ። እባዶትና ጎርሰዋ ባርኮ ሙጭመ።BSBBSB: Jesus reached out His hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” He said. “Be clean!” And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
4. 4BSWEኤሰኮና የሱሳ፥ “ፋያኖካ ማዮና አሮሰግተ፤ አየሱን ጎአመን ሴጉዴ እስኦታ ቱቃሞን ቱሳ፥ ሙሴ ኩን ካአጃጄሮ ሜባ ስስ ህክና እሶን አቶ ሌራ” አመ።BSBBSB: Then Jesus instructed him, “See that you don’t tell anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift prescribed by Moses, as a testimony to them.”
5. 5BSWEየሱሳ ቅፍረናሆም ቶስ ጎጎታቤ፥ ካቦሎ ዎይቻት ካሌረ ኮ ኡሱ ቶስ ጋባላመረ፤ ሃ አመ ኤባተ።BSBBSB: When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came and pleaded with Him,
6. 6BSWE“ጎታ፥ ኢን ካሀንዳረክ ናፋለሳ ሌጉረ ኣሎ አቦሳ ዲያ ምንኬይ ሁዱረ ግራ” አመ።BSBBSB: “Lord, my servant lies at home, paralyzed and in terrible agony.”
7. 7BSWEየሱሳና፥ “አን ኤሜይጉረ ኡሱ ፋይስናራ” አመ።BSBBSB: “I will go and heal him,” Jesus replied.
8. 8BSWEካቦሎ ዎይቻትና አባበረ፥ “ጎታ፥ አት ምንኬ ቶስ ታብን አን ላኮካዶትሳሮዮ፤ አየሱን ጎአመን ህታኒ ግራን ሃፉራ ኮ ካላል አዬስና፤ እዬን ካሀንዳረክና ፋይሮዋ።BSBBSB: The centurion answered, “Lord, I am not worthy to have You come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed.
9. 9BSWEአን መተኬዉን ካካለቱን ካሀንዳሮ ዎይቻያ፥ አንና እንኮ ሄገሌ እዬን ኦሀንዳራን አባ፤ እሶኮ ኮኔ ሴ አን ጎአምሮ ሴታራ፥ ካካለና ኮያ ጎአምሮ ኤመታራ፥ ኢን ካሀንዳሮነ ሂካ ፈል ጎአምሮ ፈላራ።”BSBBSB: For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell one to go, and he goes, and another to come, and he comes. I tell my servant to do something, and he does it.”
10. 10BSWEየሱሳና አባብኬሳ ሳደጉረ፥ ዴበ ሰሴታ ኦግሬነ ሃ አመ፥ “አን ሩምና አማራ፥ ኡል ካእስራኤል ኦሮኮ ሂካ ኣንክክ አማኖ ካአቦ እባዶ ኮና አን ላኮሄለሮ።BSBBSB: When Jesus heard this, He marveled and said to those following Him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.
11. 11BSWEኦሞጋና ምና ታብያንኮና ምና ታኢያንኮ ኤሜይናራን ዎኖናት ካዳሩረይ ባቦ ኣምን አብራመነ፥ ይሳቃነ፥ ያይቆባነ ራቶ ሀማጽናራን።BSBBSB: I say to you that many will come from the east and the west to share the banquet with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.
12. 12BSWEዎኖናት ካዳሩረ ኤካተ ኦኮንግረ አደ ሳርድ ጢልንጋክ ሙጉድ ቶስ ሻፋምናራን፥ ኤሰ እሶን ኦታና ኢልኮ ፎጫኖ ሌራ።”BSBBSB: But the sons of the kingdom will be thrown into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
13. 13BSWEየሱሳና ካቦሎ ዎይቻትነ፥ “ሴ አማኖካ ማለ ኩን ሀሌዎ” አመ። ካሀንዳረኬሳና ጎርሰዋ ፋዬ።BSBBSB: Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go! As you have believed, so will it be done for you.” And his servant was healed at that very hour.
14. 14BSWEየሱሳ ምንካ ጴጢሮሳ ቶስ ካኮታባረ ጎራታ ሶዶ ታጴጢሮሳ ማር ጉበ ሀዉኣማ ታሁዱርተቶ ዴ።BSBBSB: When Jesus arrived at Peter’s house, He saw Peter’s mother-in-law sick in bed with a fever.
15. 15BSWEኡሱና ገነትሴ ካኮድንድናረ ጎራታ፥ ማር ካጉባረና ጋፋረ፤ ኬተጉደ ኡሱን ሀንዳይተ።BSBBSB: So He touched her hand, and the fever left her, and she got up and began to serve Him.
16. 16BSWEሄመን ላ ካኮሴታረ ጎራታ ዱርሳ ካአባመሮ ካሞጋን እባዶ የሱሳ ቶስ ከነን፥ ኡሱና ባቲክ አያናጆል ሃፉራኬሳ ቤሰ፤ ꬉኩባሌሳል ዱባና ፋይሰ።BSBBSB: When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to Jesus, and He drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick.
17. 17BSWEሂካኒና ካሄገሮ እስያሳ ሃ አመ ኦአዬሰረ ሄገሮ፥ “ኡሱ ማር ኦሮክ ꬉኩባ ካን አታተ ሀራኖካንና ስዳተ” ኦአማሜረን ሄገሮ ፈሎ ሀዬን።BSBBSB: This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: “He took up our infirmities and carried our diseases.”
18. 18BSWEየሱሳ፥ ካሞጋን እባዶ ኡሱ ማራሙረ ኩኩ ካአመሮ ካኮ ድያረ ጎራታ በከኮ ጋማ ጎጎናቅናዉን አጃጄ።BSBBSB: When Jesus saw a large crowd around Him, He gave orders to cross to the other side of the sea.
19. 19BSWEሀሱ ጎራታ ሴራ ካሙሴ ካአጋልስሳራ ኡሱ ቶስ ኤመተጉረ፤ “ካአጋልስሳቶ! አት ማንኮ ስያቶ ዱባ አን ኩ ዴበ ሰሴይናራ” አመ።BSBBSB: And one of the scribes came to Him and said, “Teacher, I will follow You wherever You go.”
20. 20BSWEየሱሳና፥ “ጌዳላጆል ጉምቢ አባ፥ ካቡባራ ክምቢርና ምን አባ፥ ኤረ ካእባዶ አደ እስኦቴሳ ታኮፎልሲሳሮ ባንኤ ላኮአቦ” አመ አባበ።BSBBSB: Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay His head.”
21. 21BSWEየሱሳኮ ካአጋልሳታሮ ካሌራ ካካለ እባዶት ኮ አደ፥ “ጎታ! ጣይ ሴይረ አን ኣቦኬ ጎጎቃማላሮን ኢን ፈኢ ስስ” አመ።BSBBSB: Another of His disciples requested, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.”
22. 22BSWEየሱሳ አደ፥ ኦጎይናራን ሬስክሶ ሀቃማሌን፤ “አት ጎአመን እን ዴበ ሰሴ” አመ።BSBBSB: But Jesus told him, “Follow Me, and let the dead bury their own dead.”
23. 23BSWEኤሰኮ የሱሳ ዎላቦ ኦሮ ታበ፥ ኡሱኮ ኦአጋልሳታረና ኡሱ ዴበ ታቤን ሴተን።BSBBSB: When He got into the boat, His disciples followed Him.
24. 24BSWEደራኣ ካአቲ ኢርጋዶ ኬጉረ ጋሽማሎ ዎላቦ ታ ልችስሮ ሻላጋመ፥ ሀሱ ጎራታ የሱሳ አደ ሁዱረ ግረ።BSBBSB: Suddenly a violent storm came up on the sea, so that the boat was engulfed by the waves. But Jesus was sleeping.
25. 25BSWEኡሱኮ ኦአጋልሳታረና ጋባላመን ኡሱ ናባድሰን ጉሬን፥ “ጎታ! ባነዋ፥ ኖ ሃስ” አመን።BSBBSB: The disciples went and woke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!”
26. 26BSWEየሱሳና፥ “እስን አማኖ ኦኮንሀንቃተራ! ሙን ሂካማሌ አብሳታን?” አመ። ኤሰኮ ኬጉረ ኢርጋዶና ጋሽማሎ ሀድሰ፥ ጎርሰዋ በከ ቆደን።BSBBSB: “You of little faith,” Jesus replied, “why are you so afraid?” Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it was perfectly calm.
27. 27BSWEእባዶና፥ “ሂክ ኢርጋዶና ጋሽማሎና ካኮን አጃጃማራን ምስክ እባዶትያ?” አማ ሳደን።BSBBSB: The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the sea obey Him!”
28. 28BSWEየሱሳ በከኮ ጋማ ናቀጉረ፥ ገርገስኖ ካአማራን ኡል ጎጎጌይ ባቲክ አያናይ ኦአባሜረን እባዶጃ ላማ ታኮግሬን ባንኤ ታህዬልኮ ቤንጉሬን ኡሱነ ዎታ ኤሰሌን፤ እባዶና ኡሱ ራኔ ሮርን ታዋሮ ጊን ኣሎ ኦሜላንየን።BSBBSB: When Jesus arrived on the other side in the region of the Gadarenes, He was met by two demon-possessed men coming from the tombs. They were so violent that no one could pass that way.
29. 29BSWEእሶና፥ “አት ኤረ ካዋ! ኖኔ ዎታ ሃጃ ታሜ አብታ? ጎራታ ሀጌኖን ግራን ኖ አቦስስን ኤመተ?” አመን ኦኬን።BSBBSB: “What do You want with us, Son of God?” they shouted. “Have You come here to torture us before the appointed time?”
30. 30BSWEእሶኮ አባራን ፋክንተ ታሞጋን ቦዬ ቦባይተ ግቴ።BSBBSB: In the distance a large herd of pigs was feeding.
31. 31BSWEዱርሳና የሱሳነ፤ “ኖ ካቤስናቶ ጎሌተ ታሞጋን ቦዬ ኦሮድ ጎጎታብኖ ኖ ጋፋርና” አመን ኤባተን።BSBBSB: So the demons begged Jesus, “If You drive us out, send us into the herd of pigs.”
32. 32BSWEየሱሳና “ሰዬን!” አመ። ዱርሳና እባዶጃኮ በጉረ ቦዬ ኦሮዴ ታበ፥ ቦዬል ዱባና ላጋ ቃርቃራኮ ሄገልዴተ ጋንጋላተ በከ ኦሮዴተ ኡባተደ ኤነጋንተ ጎተ።BSBBSB: “Go!” He told them. So they came out and went into the pigs, and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea and died in the waters.
33. 33BSWEቦዬል ኦፎፋሬና ባቃተን ካታማ ቶስ ሴተን ጉሬን ካሌሮ አዬንሳ ዱርሳይ አባሜን ኦግረን እባዶጃ ጉት ካፈላመሮ አየስ ዱባ ሰሴጌን።BSBBSB: Those tending the pigs ran off into the town and reported all this, including the account of the demon-possessed men.
34. 34BSWEሂካ ጋራይና ካካታማ እባዶ ዱባ የሱሳነ ዎታ ኤሰልን ቤ፥ ኡሱ ካኮድያረን ጎራታ ኡልክሶ ጋፋር ጎጎቤሮን ኤባተን።BSBBSB: Then the whole town went out to meet Jesus. And when they saw Him, they begged Him to leave their region.
