1. 1BSWEኤሰኮ አባባተረ የሱሳ ዎላቦይ ታበ በከኮ ጋማ ናቀ ካታማቴሳ ቶስ ኤመተ።BSBBSB: Jesus got into a boat, crossed over, and came to His own town.
2. 2BSWEኤሰኮ እባዶ ናፋለሳት ኮ አልጋይ ስዴንጉሬን ኡሱ ቶስ ኣተን ኤመተን። የሱሳና አማኖክሶ ዴጉረ ናፋለሳትነ “ኮ አላማንደ! ጩቦካ ሀሄሶ አማመራ” አመ።BSBBSB: Just then some men brought to Him a paralytic lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Take courage, son; your sins are forgiven.”
3. 3BSWEሀሱ ጎራታ ሴራ ካሙሴ ካአጋልስሳራ፥ “ሂክ ዋ ሀባራኖያ” አማ ዎዳናትሶይ ጉምጉመን።BSBBSB: On seeing this, some of the scribes said to themselves, “This man is blaspheming!”
4. 4BSWEየሱሳ ቆፋትሶ አዴሰጉረ ሃ አመ፤ “ካሜላን አየስ ዎዳናትስኒ ሙን ቆፓታን?BSBBSB: But Jesus knew what they were thinking and said, “Why do you harbor evil in your hearts?
5. 5BSWEአፎ፥ ‘ጩቦካ ሀሄሶ አማመራ አማኖኮና’ ‘ክንጉዴ ሰሴ አማኖኮ ኤክያ ኤነ ካላራ’?BSBBSB: Which is easier: to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up and walk’?
6. 6BSWEአየሱን ጎአመን ኤረ ካእባዶ ኡል ጉት ጩቦ ሀሄሶ ካኮአምሮ ኦዶናት ካአቦ ላኖ ጎጎአዴሳኑንያ” አመጉረ፤ ናፋለሳትነ “ክ አልጋታ ስዳዴ ምን ጋል” አመ።BSBBSB: But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins...” Then He said to the paralytic, “Get up, pick up your mat, and go home.”
7. 7BSWEናፋለሳትና ኬጉረ ምንኬሳ ጋለ።BSBBSB: And the man got up and went home.
8. 8BSWEጎሳና ሂካ ካኮድያረ ጎራታ ሳደ፥ አብሲና አማጋሜንጉሬን ሂካ ኣንክክ ኦዶናት እባዶን ካስሰሮ ዋ ጋላተን።BSBBSB: When the crowds saw this, they were filled with awe and glorified God, who had given such authority to men.
9. 9BSWEየሱሳ ኤሰኮ ኬጉረ ሴታ ግራን ማቶሳ ካአማማረ እባዶት ኮ ቃራጣ ታኮሙራኔን ባንኤ ካሀማጼሮ ዴጉረ “እን ዴበ ሰሴ” አመ፤ ኡሱና ኬጉረ የሱሳ ዴበ ሰሴተ።BSBBSB: As Jesus went on from there, He saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax booth. “Follow Me,” He told him, and Matthew got up and followed Him.
10. 10BSWEየሱሳ ምን ካማቶሳ ኣሞ ጉት ግራን ኦሞጋን ቃራጣ ኦኩኩይሳሬና ጩባሌይል ኤመተንጉረን ኡሱነ ዎታና ኡሱኮ ኦአጋልሳታራነ ዎታ ባቦ ኣምን ሀማጼን።BSBBSB: Later, as Jesus was dining at Matthew’s house, many tax collectors and sinners came and ate with Him and His disciples.
11. 11BSWEካፋራሳው እባዶና ሂካ ካኮድያረን ጎራታ የሱሳኮ ኦአጋልሳታረነ፥ “እስን ካአጋልስሳራ ቃራጣ ኦኩኩይሳራነና ጩባለይልነ ዎታ ምሲ አማራ?” አመን ሆሳተን።BSBBSB: When the Pharisees saw this, they asked His disciples, “Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?”
12. 12BSWEየሱሳና እሶ ካአዬሳራን ማለጉረ ሃ አመ፥ አኪም ካኮንዶትሳራ ꬉኩባሌሳሉንያ ኳሬ ፋያሌሳን ላኮዮ።BSBBSB: On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.
13. 13BSWEሴየንጉዴን፥ “አን ጃርሶኮ ሮርሰ ሻጋ ጌላታራ ካአማመሮ ሃፉራኮክ ፉሬን አጋልሳዬን። አን ካኮንኤሜየራ ጩባለሳሉን ኳሬ ቁሉክ ኡምን ላኮኤሜየሮ” አማመ ማጻፋ ቁሉክ ማንኮጻፋመሮ ማራንያ አመ።BSBBSB: But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”
14. 14BSWEሀሱ ጎራታ ካጣማቃሮ ያንሳኮ ኦአጋልሳታራን የሱሳ ቶስ ኤመተንጉረን “ኖና ፋራሳዊልና አርጌቶ ጎአጋቡይኖ ኩኮ ኦአጋልሳታራን አደን ሙን አጋቡዋና ዋታራን?” አመን የሱሳ ሆሳተን።BSBBSB: Then John’s disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Why is it that we and the Pharisees fast so often, but Your disciples do not fast?”
15. 15BSWEየሱሳና፥ “ካማሻሸ እሶነ ዎታ ግራን ሃስኖን ታኤመተታ ማርት ምሲ ጋድን ዳንዳታ? ካማሻሸ እሶኮ ካኮአታምናራ ጎራታ ኤመታራ፤ ሀሱ ጎራታ አጋቡይናራን አመ።BSBBSB: Jesus replied, “How can the guests of the bridegroom mourn while He is with them? But the time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them; then they will fast.
16. 16BSWE“ሳርስ ካዶአን ጉት ታኡሱብት ኤርበ ካካታራ እባዶ ላኮግሮ፥ ካካተ ጎሌ አድ ታኡሱብት ኤርበ ካዶአን ሳርስ ጉኮ ታታርሽተጉደ ቡቶ ኢቱ ባላኣታራ።BSBBSB: No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment. For the patch will pull away from the garment, and a worse tear will result.
17. 17BSWEካዶአን ድንቢቶ ካኡሱብ ጣሞ ካዎይኒ ማዮና ላኮክባታሮ፥ ጎክባተ አደ ድንቢቶ ኤባራ፥ ጣሞ ካዎይኒና ኡባታራ፥ ድንቢቶና ላኦ ላኮአቦ፥ አየሱን ጎአመን ካኡሱብ ጣሞ ካዎይኒ ካኡሱብ ድንቢቶ የላማራ፥ ሂካ ጋራይ ጣሞ ካዎይኒና ድንቢቶና ጎኢዳን እስኦረ አዳላታራ።”BSBBSB: Neither do men pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst, the wine will spill, and the wineskins will be ruined. Instead, they pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”
18. 18BSWEየሱሳ እባዶ አዬስሳ ግራን፥ አይሁድኮክ ዎይቻት ኮ ኡሱ ሆረ ግልቢሰጉረ፥ “ኡኑት ግዳ ጎተታ ኔፎነ ጎጎሄሶ ኤሜደ ገነታ ኤሰ ጉት ካይ” አመ።BSBBSB: While Jesus was saying these things, a synagogue leader came and knelt before Him. “My daughter has just died,” he said. “But come and place Your hand on her, and she will live.”
19. 19BSWEየሱሳና ኬጉረ ዎይቻትነ ዎታ ሴተ፥ የሱሳኮ ኦአጋልሳታረና ኡሱ ዴበ ኬን።BSBBSB: So Jesus got up and went with him, along with His disciples.
20. 20BSWEኤሰኮ ጌስ ቶሞንኮ ላማ ዱባ ኢግ ኡባታ አቦሳ ዲያ ታግቴ ሄለልትቲ ቶ ሃሬ ኤሜተጉደ ሳርስኬሳ ድንተ።BSBBSB: Suddenly a woman who had suffered from bleeding for twelve years came up behind Him and touched the fringe of His cloak.
21. 21BSWEኤሰና ዎዳናትሴይ፥ “ሳርስኬሳ ጎድነ ሱረ ፋይናራ” አማ ግቴ።BSBBSB: She said to herself, “If only I touch His cloak, I will be healed.”
22. 22BSWEየሱሳና ሃር አባባተ ሄለልትቲ ዴጉረ፥ “አላማንደ ኡኑት! አማኖካ ኩ ፋይሰራ” አመ። ሄለልትቲና ጎርሰዋ ፋይተ።BSBBSB: Jesus turned and saw her. “Take courage, daughter,” He said, “your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed from that very hour.
23. 23BSWEየሱሳና ምን ዎይቻት ቶስ ጎጎጌይ ማላካታ ኡፉፋ፥ ኦታና ኦይሳ ካግረ ጎሳ ዴጉረ፥BSBBSB: When Jesus entered the house of the synagogue leader, He saw the flute players and the noisy crowd.
24. 24BSWE“ዱባና ሂታኮ ብያ ኡኑ ሁዱርተታ ኳሬ ላኮጎተቶ” አመ። እሶ ጎአመን ቃጭፋታ ኦሶሌን።BSBBSB: “Go away,” He told them. “The girl is not dead, but asleep.” And they laughed at Him.
25. 25BSWEእባዶ ምን ኦሮኮ ካኮብያረ ጎራታ ምን ኦሮዴ ታበጉረ ገነትሴ አበ፥ ኡኑና ኬተ።BSBBSB: After the crowd had been put outside, Jesus went in and took the girl by the hand, and she got up.
26. 26BSWEኦዱና ኡሱ ኡል ዱባ ዳርኣንተ።BSBBSB: And the news about this spread throughout that region.
27. 27BSWEየሱሳና ኤሰኮ ቤ ሴታ ግራን ኢልኦ ካድያኖን እባዶ ላማ፥ “ኤረ ካዳዉተ! ማር” አማ እያ ኡሱ ዴበ ሰሴተን።BSBBSB: As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out, “Have mercy on us, Son of David!”
28. 28BSWEኢልኦ ኦደያኖና የሱሳ ካታበሮ ምን ቶስ ዴበ ታቤን፤ የሱሳና፥ “አን ኢልኦ ኦትስን ደንዴሲን ካዳንዳሮ ላኖ አማናታን?” አመ እሶ ሆሳተ። እሶና “እእ ጎታ” አመን አባበን።BSBBSB: After Jesus had entered the house, the blind men came to Him. “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” He asked. “Yes, Lord,” they answered.
29. 29BSWEኤሰኮና የሱሳ እልኦ ኦትሶ ድንድነጉረ፥ “አማኖክስንክ ማለ ሀሌዎ” አመ።BSBBSB: Then He touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith will it be done to you.”
30. 30BSWEኢልኦ ኦትሶና ዴንዴን፤ የሱሳና፥ “ሂካ ማዮና አሮአዴሶ” አመ አታይሰ ሰገ።BSBBSB: And their eyes were opened. Jesus warned them sternly, “See that no one finds out about this!”
31. 31BSWEእሶ ጎአመን ኤሰኮ ቤንጉሬን ኡሱ ኡሊ ካግሮ እባዶ ዱባን ጋራ ካየሱሳ አዬሴን።BSBBSB: But they went out and spread the news about Him throughout the land.
32. 32BSWEእልኦ ኦኮንባናሜራን እባዶጃ ኤሰኮ ብያግራን ባቲክ አያና ካአባመረ ህኢ ካአዬሶን እባዶት ኮ የሱሳ ቶስ ከነን።BSBBSB: As they were leaving, a demon-possessed man who was mute was brought to Jesus.
33. 33BSWEባቲክ አያናና ካኮብያረ ጎራታ ህኢ ካአዬሶን አዬሳኖ ሀጋአበ፤ ጎሳና ሳደጉረ፥ “ሂካ ኣንክክ አየስ ኡል ካእስራኤል ሙተ ላካሶ” አመ።BSBBSB: And when the demon had been driven out, the man began to speak. The crowds were amazed and said, “Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel!”
34. 34BSWEካፋራሳውል እባዶ አደ፥ “ኡሱ ዱርሳ ካኮቤሳራ ካዱርሳ ዎይቻይያ” አመን።BSBBSB: But the Pharisees said, “It is by the prince of demons that He drives out demons.”
35. 35BSWEየሱሳ ካአይሁድ ምን ካኤብ አጋልስሳ ግራን፥ ዎኖናት ካዋኮክ ገጌሎ ላላባ ግራን፥ አደና ማር ኦሮክ ꬉኩባ ካሀዉአማሮ ዱባ ፋይሳ፥ ካታማሊና ማማንጆሊ ማራሙረ።BSBBSB: Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness.
36. 36BSWEጎሳና ካፎፍሮ ካዋተ እዳድ ኣን ያዳና ካዴሮ ካሊክ ሌን ኦግራን ካኮድያረ ጎራታ ነኔኤይሳተ።BSBBSB: When He saw the crowds, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.
37. 37BSWEየሱሳና ኡሱኮ ኦአጋልሳታራነ ሃ አመ፥ “ካኩኩአምናራ ካም ካሞጋንያ፥ ኦፈልናራን ጎአመን ኡጫርያን፥BSBBSB: Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.
38. 38BSWEሃንሱን ካኩኩምናሮ ካምኮክ ጎታ ኦፈላራን ካኩኩአማሮ ካም ቶስ ጎጎፋሮን ኤባየን” አመ።BSBBSB: Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest.”
