1. 1CMNCBT耶穌向眾人講完道後，進了迦百農。BSBBSB: When Jesus had concluded His discourse in the hearing of the people, He went to Capernaum.
2. 2CMNCBT當時，有一個百夫長很賞識的奴僕病了，生命垂危。BSBBSB: There a highly valued servant of a centurion was sick and about to die.
3. 3CMNCBT百夫長聽說耶穌的事，就託幾位猶太人的長老去請耶穌來醫治他的奴僕。BSBBSB: When the centurion heard about Jesus, he sent some Jewish elders to ask Him to come and heal his servant.
4. 4CMNCBT他們便來懇求耶穌，說：「這位百夫長值得你幫助，BSBBSB: They came to Jesus and pleaded with Him earnestly, “This man is worthy to have You grant this,
5. 5CMNCBT因為他愛我們的同胞，為我們建造會堂。」BSBBSB: for he loves our nation and has built our synagogue.”

7. 7CMNCBT我自認不配去見你的面，只要你說一句話，我僕人就會痊癒。BSBBSB: That is why I did not consider myself worthy to come to You. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed.
8. 8CMNCBT因為我有上司，也有部下。我命令這個部下去，他就去；要那個部下來，他就來。我吩咐奴僕做什麼，他就做什麼。」BSBBSB: For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell one to go, and he goes, and another to come, and he comes. I tell my servant to do something, and he does it.”
9. 9CMNCBT耶穌聽了這番話，感到驚奇，轉身對跟隨祂的眾人說：「我告訴你們，就是在以色列，我也從未見過信心這麼大的人。」BSBBSB: When Jesus heard this, He marveled at the centurion. Turning to the crowd following Him, He said, “I tell you, not even in Israel have I found such great faith.”

11. 11CMNCBT過了不久，耶穌去拿因城，隨行的有門徒和一大群人。BSBBSB: Soon afterward, Jesus went to a town called Nain. His disciples went with Him, accompanied by a large crowd.
12. 12CMNCBT耶穌快到城門口時，從城裡走出一隊送殯的人，死者是一個寡婦的獨子，有許多城中的人陪著她。BSBBSB: As He approached the town gate, He saw a dead man being carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the town was with her.
13. 13CMNCBT主看見那寡婦，憐憫之心油然而生，就對她說：「不要哭！」BSBBSB: When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said, “Do not weep.”
14. 14CMNCBT隨即上前按住棺架，抬的人停了下來。耶穌說：「年輕人，我吩咐你起來！」BSBBSB: Then He went up and touched the coffin, and those carrying it stood still. “Young man,” He said, “I tell you, get up!”
15. 15CMNCBT那死者就坐了起來，並開口說話。耶穌把他交給他母親。BSBBSB: And the dead man sat up and began to speak! Then Jesus gave him back to his mother.
16. 16CMNCBT人們都驚懼萬分，把榮耀歸給上帝，說：「我們中間出了一位大先知！」又說：「上帝眷顧了祂的子民！」BSBBSB: A sense of awe swept over all of them, and they glorified God. “A great prophet has appeared among us!” they said. “God has visited His people!”
17. 17CMNCBT有關祂的這消息傳遍了猶太和附近地區。BSBBSB: And the news about Jesus spread throughout Judea and all the surrounding region.
18. 18CMNCBT約翰從自己的門徒那裡獲悉這些事後，BSBBSB: Then John’s disciples informed him about all these things.
19. 19CMNCBT就叫了兩個門徒來，派他們去問主：「將要來的那位就是你嗎？還是我們要等別人呢？」BSBBSB: So John called two of his disciples and sent them to ask the Lord, “Are You the One who was to come, or should we look for someone else?”
20. 20CMNCBT他們來到耶穌面前，便問：「施洗者約翰派我們來請教你，『將要來的那位就是你嗎？還是我們要等別人呢？』」BSBBSB: When the men came to Jesus, they said, “John the Baptist sent us to ask, ‘Are You the One who was to come, or should we look for someone else?’”
21. 21CMNCBT那時，耶穌剛治好了許多患各種疾病和被邪靈附身的人，又使許多瞎眼的能看見。BSBBSB: At that very hour Jesus healed many people of their diseases, afflictions, and evil spirits, and He gave sight to many who were blind.
22. 22CMNCBT耶穌回答說：「你們回去把所見所聞告訴約翰，就是瞎眼的看見，瘸腿的走路，痲瘋病人得潔淨，耳聾的聽見，死人復活，窮人聽到福音。BSBBSB: So He replied, “Go back and report to John what you have seen and heard: The blind receive sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor.
23. 23CMNCBT凡對我篤信不疑的人有福了！」BSBBSB: Blessed is the one who does not fall away on account of Me.”
24. 24CMNCBT約翰的門徒離去後，耶穌對眾人談論約翰，說：「你們從前去曠野要看什麼呢？看隨風搖動的蘆葦嗎？BSBBSB: After John’s messengers had left, Jesus began to speak to the crowds about John: “What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed swaying in the wind?
25. 25CMNCBT如果不是，你們出去到底想看什麼？是看穿綾羅綢緞的人嗎？那些衣著華麗、生活奢侈的人住在王宮裡。BSBBSB: Otherwise, what did you go out to see? A man dressed in fine clothes? Look, those who wear elegant clothing and live in luxury are found in palaces.
26. 26CMNCBT你們出去究竟想看什麼？看先知嗎？是的，我告訴你們，他不只是先知。BSBBSB: What then did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and more than a prophet.
27. 27CMNCBT聖經上說，『看啊，我要差遣我的使者在你前面為你預備道路。』這裡所指的就是約翰。BSBBSB: This is the one about whom it is written: ‘Behold, I will send My messenger ahead of You, who will prepare Your way before You.’
28. 28CMNCBT我告訴你們，凡婦人所生的，沒有一個比約翰大，但上帝國中最微不足道的也比他大。」BSBBSB: I tell you, among those born of women there is no one greater than John, yet even the least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.”
29. 29CMNCBT眾百姓和稅吏聽了這番話，都承認上帝是公義的，因為他們接受了約翰的洗禮。BSBBSB: All the people who heard this, even the tax collectors, acknowledged God’s justice. For they had received the baptism of John.
30. 30CMNCBT但那些法利賽人和律法教師沒有接受約翰的洗禮，拒絕了上帝為他們所定的旨意。BSBBSB: But the Pharisees and experts in the law rejected God’s purpose for themselves, because they had not been baptized by John.
31. 31CMNCBT主又說：「我用什麼來比擬這個世代的人呢？他們像什麼呢？BSBBSB: “To what, then, can I compare the men of this generation? What are they like?
32. 32CMNCBT他們就如孩童坐在集市上彼此呼喊， 「『我們吹娶親的樂曲， 你們不跳舞； 我們唱送葬的哀歌， 你們不哭泣。』BSBBSB: They are like children sitting in the marketplace and calling out to one another: ‘We played the flute for you, and you did not dance; we sang a dirge, and you did not weep.’
33. 33CMNCBT施洗者約翰來了，不吃餅，不喝酒，你們就說他被鬼附身；BSBBSB: For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine, and you say, ‘He has a demon!’
34. 34CMNCBT人子來了，又吃又喝，你們就說，『看啊，祂是個貪吃好酒之徒，與稅吏和罪人為友！』BSBBSB: The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and you say, ‘Look at this glutton and drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’
35. 35CMNCBT然而，智慧通過所有順從智慧的人顯明為義。」BSBBSB: But wisdom is vindicated by all her children.”
36. 36CMNCBT有一個法利賽人請耶穌到他家裡吃飯，耶穌應邀赴宴。BSBBSB: Then one of the Pharisees invited Jesus to eat with him, and He entered the Pharisee’s house and reclined at the table.
37. 37CMNCBT那城裡住著一個罪惡的女人。她聽說耶穌在那法利賽人家裡吃飯，就帶了一玉瓶香膏進去。BSBBSB: When a sinful woman from that town learned that Jesus was dining there, she brought an alabaster jar of perfume.
38. 38CMNCBT她站在耶穌背後，挨著祂的腳哭，淚水滴濕了祂的腳，就用自己的頭髮擦乾，又連連親祂的腳，並抹上香膏。BSBBSB: As she stood behind Him at His feet weeping, she began to wet His feet with her tears and wipe them with her hair. Then she kissed His feet and anointed them with the perfume.
39. 39CMNCBT邀請耶穌的法利賽人看在眼裡，心想：「這人如果是先知，就該知道摸祂的是誰，是個什麼樣的女人，她是個罪人。」BSBBSB: When the Pharisee who had invited Jesus saw this, he said to himself, “If this man were a prophet, He would know who this is and what kind of woman is touching Him—for she is a sinner!”
40. 40CMNCBT耶穌對他說：「西門，我有話跟你說。」 西門答道：「老師，請說。」BSBBSB: But Jesus answered him, “Simon, I have something to tell you.” “Tell me, Teacher,” he said.
41. 41CMNCBT耶穌說：「有一個債主借給一個人五百個銀幣，又借給另一個人五十個銀幣。BSBBSB: “Two men were debtors to a certain moneylender. One owed him five hundred denarii, and the other fifty.
42. 42CMNCBT二人都沒有能力還債，這位債主就免了他們的債務。那麼，哪一位會更愛債主呢？」BSBBSB: When they were unable to repay him, he forgave both of them. Which one, then, will love him more?”
43. 43CMNCBT西門答道：「我相信是那個被免去更多債的人。」 耶穌說：「你判斷得對！」BSBBSB: “I suppose the one who was forgiven more,” Simon replied. “You have judged correctly,” Jesus said.
44. 44CMNCBT隨後祂轉向那女人，繼續對西門說：「你看見這女人了嗎？我到你家裡來，你沒有拿水給我洗腳，這女人卻用眼淚濕了我的腳，還用頭髮擦乾。BSBBSB: And turning toward the woman, He said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? When I entered your house, you did not give Me water for My feet, but she wet My feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair.
45. 45CMNCBT你沒有親吻我，但我進來以後，這女人卻不停地吻我的腳。BSBBSB: You did not greet Me with a kiss, but she has not stopped kissing My feet since I arrived.
46. 46CMNCBT你沒有用油為我抹頭，這女人卻用香膏抹我的腳。BSBBSB: You did not anoint My head with oil, but she has anointed My feet with perfume.
47. 47CMNCBT所以我告訴你，她許多的罪都被赦免了，因此她的愛深切；那些獲得赦免少的，他們的愛也少。」BSBBSB: Therefore I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven, for she has loved much. But he who has been forgiven little loves little.”
48. 48CMNCBT耶穌對那女人說：「你的罪都被赦免了。」BSBBSB: Then Jesus said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.”
49. 49CMNCBT同席的人彼此議論說：「這人是誰？竟然能赦免人的罪！」BSBBSB: But those at the table began to say to themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins?”
50. 50CMNCBT耶穌又對那女人說：「你的信心救了你，平安地走吧！」BSBBSB: And Jesus told the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”
