Luke 8 (CMNCBT)

1此後，耶穌到各城鎮去傳揚上帝國的福音。同行的有十二使徒，Soon afterward, Jesus traveled from one town and village to another, preaching and proclaiming the good news of the kingdom of God. The Twelve were with Him,

2還有幾個曾被邪靈和疾病纏身、現在已被醫治的婦女。其中有抹大拉的瑪麗亞，耶穌曾經從她身上趕出七個鬼，as well as some women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities: Mary called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out,

3還有希律的管家苦撒的妻子約亞娜，此外還有蘇撒娜等其他婦女。她們用自己的錢財資助耶穌和門徒。Joanna the wife of Herod’s household manager Chuza, Susanna, and many others. These women were ministering to them out of their own means.

4那時，人群絡繹不絕地從各個城鎮聚集到耶穌面前，耶穌就講了一個比喻：While a large crowd was gathering and people were coming to Jesus from town after town, He told them this parable:

5「有一個農夫出去撒種，有些種子落在路旁，被人踐踏，又被飛鳥吃掉了；“A farmer went out to sow his seed. And as he was sowing, some seed fell along the path, where it was trampled, and the birds of the air devoured it.

6有些落在石頭地上，因水分不足，幼苗剛長出來就枯萎了；Some fell on rocky ground, and when it came up, the seedlings withered because they had no moisture.

7有些落在荊棘叢中，荊棘一同長起來便把幼苗擠住了；Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up with it and choked the seedlings.

8有些落在沃土裡，發芽生長，結出百倍的果實。」耶穌講完這番話後，高聲說：「有耳可聽的，都應當聽。」Still other seed fell on good soil, where it sprang up and produced a crop—a hundredfold.” As Jesus said this, He called out, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”

9門徒請耶穌解釋這比喻的意思，Then His disciples asked Him what this parable meant.

10耶穌便說：「上帝國的奧祕只讓你們知道，對其他人，我就用比喻，使他們看卻看不見，聽卻聽不明白。He replied, “The knowledge of the mysteries of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that, ‘though seeing, they may not see; though hearing, they may not understand.’

11這個比喻的意思是這樣，種子就是上帝的道。Now this is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God.

12種子落在路旁是指人聽了道，隨後魔鬼來把道從他們心裡奪走了，不讓他們相信並得救。The seeds along the path are those who hear, but the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved.

13種子落在石頭地上是指人聽了道，便欣然接受，但他們沒有根基，不過是暫時相信，一遇到試煉就放棄了。The seeds on rocky ground are those who hear the word and receive it with joy, but they have no root. They believe for a season, but in the time of testing, they fall away.

14種子落在荊棘叢中是指人聽了道，後來被生活的憂慮、錢財和享樂纏住了，以致結不出成熟的果實來。The seeds that fell among the thorns are those who hear, but as they go on their way, they are choked by the worries, riches, and pleasures of this life, and their fruit does not mature.

15種子落在沃土裡則是指人聽了道，用誠實良善的心堅忍持守，最終結出果實。But the seeds on good soil are those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, cling to it, and by persevering produce a crop.

16「沒有人點亮燈，卻用器皿把它蓋起來或放到床底下，而是放在燈臺上，使進來的人能看見光。No one lights a lamp and covers it with a jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, he sets it on a stand, so those who enter can see the light.

17掩蓋的事終會暴露出來，隱藏的秘密終會被人知道。For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be made known and brought to light.

18因此，你們要留心聽，因為凡有的，還要給他更多；凡沒有的，連他自以為已經擁有的也要奪去。」Pay attention, therefore, to how you listen. Whoever has will be given more, but whoever does not have, even what he thinks he has will be taken away from him.”

19這時，耶穌的母親和兄弟來找祂，由於人太多，他們無法靠近耶穌，Then Jesus’ mother and brothers came to see Him, but they were unable to reach Him because of the crowd.

20有人就對祂說：「你的母親和兄弟站在外面想見你。」He was told, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to see You.”

21耶穌卻說：「聽見上帝的話語並遵行的人就是我的母親和我的弟兄。」But He replied, “My mother and brothers are those who hear the word of God and carry it out.”

22有一天，耶穌對門徒說：「我們渡到湖對岸去吧。」於是他們坐船前往對岸。One day Jesus said to His disciples, “Let us cross to the other side of the lake.” So He got into a boat with them and set out.

23耶穌途中睡著了。湖面上忽然狂風大作，船灌滿了水，非常危險。As they sailed, He fell asleep, and a windstorm came down on the lake, so that the boat was being swamped, and they were in great danger.

24門徒過來喚醒耶穌，說：「老師！老師！我們快淹死了！」耶穌醒來，就斥責風浪，頓時風平浪靜了。The disciples went and woke Him, saying, “Master, Master, we are perishing!” Then Jesus got up and rebuked the wind and the raging waters, and they subsided, and all was calm.

25耶穌對他們說：「你們的信心在哪裡呢？」門徒又驚又怕，彼此議論說：「祂到底是誰？一發命令，連風浪都聽從祂！」“Where is your faith?” He asked. Frightened and amazed, they asked one another, “Who is this? He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey Him!”

26他們渡過加利利湖，到了對岸的格拉森地區。Then they sailed to the region of the Gerasenes, across the lake from Galilee.

27耶穌上岸後，迎面遇見當地一個被鬼附身的人。那人長期不穿衣服，不住在房屋裡，而是住在墳墓裡。When Jesus stepped ashore, He was met by a demon-possessed man from the town. For a long time this man had not worn clothing or lived in a house, but he stayed in the tombs.

28他一見到耶穌，就仆倒在祂面前，高聲喊叫：「至高上帝的兒子耶穌啊，我和你有什麼關係？求求你，不要折磨我！」When the man saw Jesus, he cried out and fell down before Him, shouting in a loud voice, “What do You want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg You not to torture me!”

29這是因為耶穌已命令污鬼離開那人。那人多次被污鬼操縱，人們用鐵鏈腳鐐把他鎖起來看管，他竟把鎖鏈也扯斷，被鬼催逼到荒野。For Jesus had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. Many times it had seized him, and though he was bound with chains and shackles, he had broken the chains and been driven by the demon into solitary places.

30耶穌問他：「你叫什麼名字？」他說：「群。」因為有一大群鬼附在那人身上。“What is your name?” Jesus asked. “Legion,” he replied, because many demons had gone into him.

31鬼不斷央求耶穌不要叫牠們到無底坑去。And the demons kept begging Jesus not to order them to go into the Abyss.

32當時有一大群豬在山坡上吃食，污鬼就央求耶穌准許牠們進入豬群，耶穌答應了。There on the hillside a large herd of pigs was feeding. So the demons begged Jesus to let them enter the pigs, and He gave them permission.

33於是那群鬼便離開那人，進入豬群。那群豬就一路奔下陡坡，衝進湖裡淹死了。Then the demons came out of the man and went into the pigs, and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and was drowned.

34放豬的人見狀就逃走了，把這事傳遍了城裡鄉間。When those tending the pigs saw what had happened, they ran off and reported this in the town and countryside.

35人們出來看個究竟，到了耶穌那裡，發現那曾被鬼附身的人衣著整齊、神智清醒地坐在耶穌腳前，他們都很害怕。So the people went out to see what had happened. They came to Jesus and found the man whom the demons had left, sitting at Jesus’ feet, clothed and in his right mind; and they were afraid.

36目擊者把被鬼附身的人得救的經過告訴了他們。Meanwhile, those who had seen it reported how the demon-possessed man had been healed.

37格拉森地區的居民都十分害怕，請求耶穌離開那裡，耶穌便乘船回去了。Then all the people of the region of the Gerasenes asked Jesus to depart from them, because great fear had taken hold of them. So He got into the boat and started back.

38那不再被鬼附身的人懇求耶穌讓他隨行，耶穌卻讓他回去，說：The man whom the demons had left begged to go with Jesus. But He sent him away, saying,

39「你回家吧，把上帝為你所行的奇事告訴別人。」他就回去，走遍全城，四處傳揚耶穌為他所行的奇事。“Return home and describe how much God has done for you.” So the man went away and proclaimed all over the town how much Jesus had done for him.

40耶穌回到對岸，在那裡等候的百姓都歡迎祂。When Jesus returned, the crowd welcomed Him, for they had all been waiting for Him.

41有個名叫雅魯的會堂主管走過來俯伏在耶穌腳前，求耶穌到他家去，Just then a synagogue leader named Jairus came and fell at Jesus’ feet. He begged Him to come to his house,

42因為他有一個大約十二歲的獨生女快要死了。耶穌前去雅魯家的時候，人群擁擠著祂。because his only daughter, who was about twelve, was dying. As Jesus went with him, the crowds pressed around Him,

43有一個患了十二年血漏病的婦人耗盡了積蓄，到處求醫，但沒有人能醫治她。including a woman who had suffered from bleeding for twelve years. She had spent all her money on physicians, but no one was able to heal her.

44婦人擠到耶穌的背後，摸了祂衣服的穗子，她的血漏立刻止住了。She came up behind Jesus and touched the fringe of His cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped.

45耶穌問：「誰摸我？」沒有人承認。彼得說：「老師，眾人都在擁擠你。」“Who touched Me?” Jesus asked. But they all denied it. “Master,” said Peter, “the people are crowding and pressing against You.”

46耶穌卻說：「一定有人摸了我，因為我感覺有能力從我身上發出。」But Jesus declared, “Someone touched Me, for I know that power has gone out from Me.”

47那婦人知道無法隱瞞，就戰戰兢兢地走過來，俯伏在耶穌腳前，把她摸耶穌的原因及怎樣立刻痊癒的經過當眾說了出來。Then the woman, seeing that she could not escape notice, came trembling and fell down before Him. In the presence of all the people, she explained why she had touched Him and how she had immediately been healed.

48耶穌對她說：「女兒，你的信心救了你！安心去吧。」“Daughter,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you. Go in peace.”

49耶穌還在說話的時候，有人從雅魯家趕來，對雅魯說：「你的女兒已經死了，不用麻煩老師了。」While He was still speaking, someone arrived from the house of the synagogue leader. “Your daughter is dead,” he told Jairus. “Do not bother the Teacher anymore.”

50耶穌聽了，就對雅魯說：「不要怕，只要信。你的女兒一定會好的！」But Jesus overheard them and said to Jairus, “Do not be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.”

51到了雅魯家，耶穌只准彼得、雅各、約翰和女孩的父母跟祂進去。When He entered the house, He did not allow anyone to go in with Him except Peter, John, James, and the child’s father and mother.

52人們都在為那女孩哀傷哭泣，耶穌說：「不要哭，她沒有死，只是睡著了。」Meanwhile, everyone was weeping and mourning for her. But Jesus said, “Stop weeping; she is not dead but asleep.”

53眾人就譏笑祂，因為他們都知道那女孩死了。And they laughed at Him, knowing that she was dead.

54耶穌拉著那女孩的手，說：「孩子，起來！」But Jesus took her by the hand and called out, “Child, get up!”

55她的靈魂就回來了，她立刻起來了。耶穌吩咐人給她東西吃。Her spirit returned, and at once she got up. And He directed that she be given something to eat.

56她的父母非常驚訝，耶穌卻囑咐他們不要把這事傳開。Her parents were astounded, but Jesus ordered them not to tell anyone what had happened.
