Bring to the Lord, O sons of God, bring to the Lord the sons of rams. BSB BSB: A Psalm of David. Ascribe to the LORD, O heavenly beings, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.
2 CPDV Bring to the Lord, glory and honor. Bring to the Lord, glory for his name. Adore the Lord in his holy court. BSB BSB: Ascribe to the LORD the glory due His name; worship the LORD in the splendor of His holiness.
3 CPDV The voice of the Lord is over the waters. The God of majesty has thundered. The Lord is over many waters. BSB BSB: The voice of the LORD is over the waters; the God of glory thunders; the LORD is heard over many waters.
4 CPDV The voice of the Lord is in virtue. The voice of the Lord is in magnificence. BSB BSB: The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is majestic.
5 CPDV The voice of the Lord shatters the cedars. And the Lord will shatter the cedars of Lebanon. BSB BSB: The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars; the LORD shatters the cedars of Lebanon.
6 CPDV And it will break them into pieces, like a calf of Lebanon, and in the same way as the beloved son of the single-horned beast. BSB BSB: He makes Lebanon skip like a calf, and Sirion like a young wild ox.
7 CPDV The voice of the Lord cuts through the flame of fire. BSB BSB: The voice of the LORD strikes with flames of fire.
8 CPDV The voice of the Lord shakes the desert. And the Lord will quake the desert of Kadesh. BSB BSB: The voice of the LORD shakes the wilderness; the LORD shakes the Wilderness of Kadesh.
9 CPDV The voice of the Lord is preparing the stags, and he will reveal the dense woods. And in his temple, all will speak his glory. BSB BSB: The voice of the LORD twists the oaks and strips the forests bare. And in His temple all cry, “Glory!”
10 CPDV The Lord causes the great flood to dwell. And the Lord will sit as King in eternity. BSB BSB: The LORD sits enthroned over the flood; the LORD is enthroned as King forever.
11 CPDV The Lord will give virtue to his people. The Lord will bless his people in peace. BSB BSB: The LORD gives His people strength; the LORD blesses His people with peace.
