BSB BSB: By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.
DBY and that he was buried; and that he was raised the third day, according to the scriptures; BSB BSB: that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,
DBY and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. BSB BSB: and that He appeared to Cephas and then to the Twelve.
DBY Then he appeared to James; then to all the apostles; BSB BSB: Then He appeared to James, then to all the apostles.
DBY and last of all, as to an abortion, he appeared to me also. BSB BSB: And last of all He appeared to me also, as to one of untimely birth.
DBY For I am the least of the apostles, who am not fit to be called apostle, because I have persecuted the assembly of God. BSB BSB: For I am the least of the apostles and am unworthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
DBY But by God's grace I am what I am; and his grace, which was towards me, has not been vain; but I have laboured more abundantly than they all, but not I, but the grace of God which was with me. BSB BSB: But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace to me was not in vain. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.
The Resurrection of the Dead 13 DBY But if there is not a resurrection of those that are dead, neither is Christ raised: BSB BSB: If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised.
DBY And we are found also false witnesses of God; for we have witnessed concerning God that he raised the Christ, whom he has not raised if indeed those that are dead are not raised. BSB BSB: In that case, we are also exposed as false witnesses about God. For we have testified about God that He raised Christ from the dead, but He did not raise Him if in fact the dead are not raised.
DBY For if those that are dead are not raised, neither is Christ raised; BSB BSB: For if the dead are not raised, then not even Christ has been raised.
DBY but if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. BSB BSB: And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.
DBY Then indeed also those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. BSB BSB: Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished.
DBY If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are the most miserable of all men. BSB BSB: If our hope in Christ is for this life alone, we are to be pitied more than all men.
The Order of Resurrection 22 DBY For as in the Adam all die, thus also in the Christ all shall be made alive. BSB BSB: For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.

DBY Then the end, when he gives up the kingdom to him who is God and Father; when he shall have annulled all rule and all authority and power. BSB BSB: Then the end will come, when He hands over the kingdom to God the Father after He has destroyed all dominion, authority, and power.
DBY For he must reign until he put all enemies under his feet. BSB BSB: For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet.
DBY The last enemy that is annulled is death.BSB BSB: The last enemy to be destroyed is death.
DBY For he has put all things in subjection under his feet. But when he says that all things are put in subjection, it is evident that it is except him who put all things in subjection to him. BSB BSB: For “God has put everything under His feet.” Now when it says that everything has been put under Him, this clearly does not include the One who put everything under Him.
DBY But when all things shall have been brought into subjection to him, then the Son also himself shall be placed in subjection to him who put all things in subjection to him, that God may be all in all.) BSB BSB: And when all things have been subjected to Him, then the Son Himself will be made subject to Him who put all things under Him, so that God may be all in all.
DBY Since what shall the baptised for the dead do if those that are dead rise not at all? why also are they baptised for them? BSB BSB: If these things are not so, what will those do who are baptized for the dead? If the dead are not raised at all, why are people baptized for them?
DBY Why do we also endanger ourselves every hour? BSB BSB: And why do we endanger ourselves every hour?
DBY Daily I die, by your boasting which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord. BSB BSB: I face death every day, brothers, as surely as I boast about you in Christ Jesus our Lord.
DBY If, to speak after the manner of man, I have fought with beasts in Ephesus, what is the profit to me if those that are dead do not rise? let us eat and drink; for to-morrow we die. BSB BSB: If I fought wild beasts in Ephesus for human motives, what did I gain? If the dead are not raised, “Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.”
DBY Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners. BSB BSB: Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good character.”
DBY Awake up righteously, and sin not; for some are ignorant of God: I speak to you as a matter of shame. BSB BSB: Sober up as you ought, and stop sinning; for some of you are ignorant of God. I say this to your shame.
The Resurrection Body 36 DBY Fool; what thou sowest is not quickened unless it die. BSB BSB: You fool! What you sow does not come to life unless it dies.
DBY And what thou sowest, thou sowest not the body that shall be, but a bare grain: it may be of wheat, or some one of the rest: BSB BSB: And what you sow is not the body that will be, but just a seed, perhaps of wheat or something else.
DBY and God gives to it a body as he has pleased, and to each of the seeds its own body. BSB BSB: But God gives it a body as He has designed, and to each kind of seed He gives its own body.
DBY Every flesh is not the same flesh, but one is of men, and another flesh of beasts, and another flesh of birds, and another of fishes. BSB BSB: Not all flesh is the same: Men have one kind of flesh, animals have another, birds another, and fish another.
DBY And there are heavenly bodies, and earthly bodies: but different is the glory of the heavenly, different that of the earthly: BSB BSB: There are also heavenly bodies and earthly bodies. But the splendor of the heavenly bodies is of one degree, and the splendor of the earthly bodies is of another.
DBY one the sun's glory, and another the moon's glory, and another the stars' glory; for star differs from star in glory. BSB BSB: The sun has one degree of splendor, the moon another, and the stars another; and star differs from star in splendor.
DBY It is sown in dishonour, it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness, it is raised in power. BSB BSB: It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power.
DBY It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body: if there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual one . BSB BSB: It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.
DBY Thus also it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul; the last Adam a quickening spirit. BSB BSB: So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam a life-giving spirit.
DBY But that which is spiritual was not first, but that which is natural, then that which is spiritual: BSB BSB: The spiritual, however, was not first, but the natural, and then the spiritual.

DBY Such as he made of dust, such also those made of dust; and such as the heavenly one , such also the heavenly ones . BSB BSB: As was the earthly man, so also are those who are of the earth; and as is the heavenly man, so also are those who are of heaven.
DBY And as we have borne the image of the one made of dust, we shall bear also the image of the heavenly one . BSB BSB: And just as we have borne the likeness of the earthly man, so also shall we bear the likeness of the heavenly man.
Where, O Death, Is Your Victory? (Hosea 13:9–14)
DBY But this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit God's kingdom, nor does corruption inherit incorruptibility. BSB BSB: Now I declare to you, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.
DBY Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all fall asleep, but we shall all be changed, BSB BSB: Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed—
DBY in an instant, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. BSB BSB: in an instant, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.
DBY For this corruptible must needs put on incorruptibility, and this mortal put on immortality. BSB BSB: For the perishable must be clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality.
DBY But when this corruptible shall have put on incorruptibility, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall come to pass the word written: Death has been swallowed up in victory.
