1जव ईशु यी सब वात कय दियो हुतो, तो आपसा चेलान क कयनो लाग गियो।When Jesus had finished saying all these things, He told His disciples,

2“तुमू जानो काय, कि दूय दाहड़ा क बाद फसहन तिवार हुयसे; आरू मानुस क पोर्या क कुरूस पर चढ़ावनेन करता धरावसे।”“You know that the Passover is two days away, and the Son of Man will be handed over to be crucified.”

3तव मुखी पुजारो आरू पुन त्योन डाहडा कैफा नावन मटला पुजारा क आंगना मा एखटा हुया।At that time the chief priests and elders of the people assembled in the courtyard of the high priest, whose name was Caiaphas,

4आरू आपसु मा विचार करने लाग गयो कि ईशु क धोका सी धरीन मार न्हाखजे।and they conspired to arrest Jesus covertly and kill Him.

5बाकुन त्या कयता हुता, “तिहवार क समय मा नी असो नी हुय जाय कि लोगहन मा दंगो हुय जाय।”“But not during the feast,” they said, “or there may be a riot among the people.”

6जव ईशु बैतनियाह मा शमौन कुड़ावा क घर मा हुतो,While Jesus was in Bethany in the home of Simon the Leper,

7तो एक बायर संगमरमर क ठिकरा मा महोंगो इत्र लीन उका पास आवी, आरू जब त्यो वाटको खानो खाने बठलो हुतो, तो उका माथा पर न्हाख देदी।a woman came to Him with an alabaster jar of expensive perfume, which she poured on His head as He reclined at the table.

8यो देखीन, उका चेला किचवाय गिया आरू कयने लाग गिया, कि एको बरबाद कर दियो।When the disciples saw this, they were indignant and asked, “Why this waste?

9“यो इत्र ते तीन सौ सोनान सिक्का दाम पर वेचाय जातो आरू उका गरीब लोगहन क वाट सकता हुता।”This perfume could have been sold at a high price, and the money given to the poor.”

10यो जानीन ईशु चेला क कयो, “इनी बायर क काँ सतावु? त्या म्हार साते भलाय करली छे।”Aware of this, Jesus asked, “Why are you bothering this woman? She has done a beautiful deed to Me.

11गरीब तुमरे साथ मा जलोम रहवे, बाकुन हाव तुमरे साथ मा जलोम नी रोवे सकतु छे।The poor you will always have with you, but you will not always have Me.

12त्या म्हारा डील पर यो इत्र रेड़ी, त्यो मेखे गाड़ ने क करता छे।By pouring this perfume on Me, she has prepared My body for burial.

13हाव तुमरे सच कहवो, कि सब दुनिया मा जा काँ यो खुश खबर नी करीयो जाय, वा उका इना बारम भी उको फोम करावसे।Truly I tell you, wherever this gospel is preached in all the world, what she has done will also be told in memory of her.”

14तव यहूदा इस्करियोती, बारा चेला मा सी एक हुतो, मुखी पुजारा क पास मा जाईन कयो,Then one of the Twelve, the one called Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests

15“कदाम हाव उको तुमरा हाथ मा धराय दियो, तो मेखे काय आपसु?” त्या उको तीस चाँदी क सिक्का गिनीन आपी दिया।and asked, “What are you willing to give me if I hand Him over to you?” And they set out for him thirty pieces of silver.

16आरू त्यो उना समय सी ईशु क धरावने क मेखे हेरने लागियो।So from then on Judas looked for an opportunity to betray Jesus.

17अखमीरी रोटा क तिहवार क दाहड़े, चेलान ईशु क पास मा आवीन पुछने लाग गिया, “तुखे काँ जुवे कि हामु थार करता फसह खानेन तियारी करजे?”On the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Where do You want us to prepare for You to eat the Passover?”

18ईशु कयो, “नगर मा फलाना क पास मा जाईन उका सी कहवो, के गुरू कहवे छे, म्हार टेम साते आव छे, हाव म्हार चेला क साथ मा थारे या फसह तिवार मनावीस।”He answered, “Go into the city to a certain man and tell him that the Teacher says, ‘My time is near. I will keep the Passover with My disciples at your house.’”

19ईशु जोसु वेला क आदेश देदु, आरू चेला फसह तियार करिया।So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them and prepared the Passover.

20जव शाम हुयी, तो त्या बारा चेला क साथ मा खाने करीन बठियो।When evening came, Jesus was reclining with the twelve disciples.

21जव त्या खाय रिया हुता, तो चेला सी कयो, “हाव तुमरे सी सच कहवो, कि तुमरे मा सी एक जन मेखे धरवासे।”And while they were eating, He said to them, “Truly I tell you, one of you will betray Me.”

22इना पर त्या बैस नराज हुया, आरू हर एक जन उका सी पुछने लाग गिया, “ए गुरू, काय चु हाव ते नी छे?”They were deeply grieved and began to ask Him one after another, “Surely not I, Lord?”

23ईशु जवाब देदो, “जो मार साथ मा थावी मा हाथ न्हाखलो छे, त्यो मेखे धरवासे।Jesus answered, “The one who has dipped his hand into the bowl with Me will betray Me.

24हाव मानुस क पोर्यो तो कसो उका बारा मा लिखलो छे, त्यो जाय; बाकुन उना मानुस क करता विखु छे जिनान लारे मानुस क पोर्यो धरायसे; नकदाम उना मानुस क जनम नी हयतो तो उका करता वारू हुतो।”The Son of Man will go just as it is written about Him, but woe to that man by whom He is betrayed. It would be better for him if he had not been born.”

25तव उको धरवाने वालो यहूदा कयो, “हे गुरू! काय त्यो हाव ते नी छे? ईशु उका सी कयो, तु ते खुद कय देदु।”Then Judas, who would betray Him, said, “Surely not I, Rabbi?” Jesus answered, “You have said it yourself.”

26“जव त्या रोटा खाय रिया हुता, तो ईशु रोटा लीदो, आरू बरकत मांगीन तुड़ियो, आरू चेला क देखीन कयो, नन लेवु खावो; यो म्हारो डील छे।”While they were eating, Jesus took bread, spoke a blessing and broke it, and gave it to the disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is My body.”

27पछु ईशु वाटको लीन धन्यवाद करीयो, आरू चेला क आपीन कयो, तुमू सब इना मा सी पीयो,Then He took the cup, gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you.

28काहकि यी वाचा म्हार त्यो लुहूय छे, जो बैस लोगहन क पापोन माफी क करता उहावड़ियो जाय।This is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

29“हाव तुमरे सी कहवो, कि अंगुर क रस उना दाहड़े तक कदी नी पीयो जव तक तुमरे साथ म्हार बास क राज मा नवलो नी पीयो।”I tell you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it anew with you in My Father’s kingdom.”

30पछु त्या भजन गावीन जैतुन बयड़ा पर गिया।And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

31तव ईशु चेलान सी कयो, तुमू सब आज रात मा म्हारा बारा मा ठुकर खासु; काहकि लिखलो छे, “हाव गुवाळिया क मारीस; आरू टुळान गाड़ गाडरा वेराय जासे।”Then Jesus said to them, “This very night you will all fall away on account of Me. For it is written: ‘I will strike the Shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.’

32“बाकुन हाव म्हारा जीव उठने क बाद सी पेहले गलील मा जाईस।”But after I have risen, I will go ahead of you into Galilee.”

33इना पर पतरस उका सी कयो, “कदाम सब थार वजह से ठुकर खाय ते खाय, बाकुन हाव कदी नी ठुकर नी खाम।”Peter said to Him, “Even if all fall away on account of You, I never will.”

34ईशु पतरस सी कयो, “हाव थार सी सच कहवो, कि आज राती कुकड़ा क वाषने सी पेहले, तु तीन बार म्हार मना करीस।”“Truly I tell you,” Jesus declared, “this very night, before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.”

35ईशु पतरस सी कयो, “कदाम मेखे थार साथ मा मरनो भी हुयसे, तो भी हाव थारो कदी नी मानने सी मना करो।” आरू असात् सब चेला भी कयो।Peter replied, “Even if I have to die with You, I will never deny You.” And all the other disciples said the same thing.

36तव ईशु आपसा चेला क साथ गतसमनी मा आयो आरू आपसा चेला सी कयनो लाग गियो “कदाम यात बठी रहवजो, जव तक हाव वा जाईन प्रार्थना करो।”Then Jesus went with His disciples to a place called Gethsemane, and He told them, “Sit here while I go over there and pray.”

37आरू त्यो पतरस याकूब आरू जबदी क साथ मा ली गियो, आरू दुःखी आरू घबरायने लागियो।He took with Him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee and began to be sorrowful and deeply distressed.

38“तव त्यो चेला सी कयो, म्हार मन बैस नराज छे, या तक कि म्हारो जीव निकलीन जाय रियो। तुमू यात रहवो, आरू म्हार साथ जागता रहवु।”Then He said to them, “My soul is consumed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with Me.”

39“पछु त्यो थुड़ाक आरू अगा बढ़ीन मुयन भूरसे नेचो पड़ीन, आरू यी प्रार्थना करने लाग गियो, तो यो वाटको म्हार सी टळ जाय, पछु भी जसो हाव चाहतो वसोत नी, बाकुन जसो तु चाहे वसोत हुय।”Going a little farther, He fell facedown and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me. Yet not as I will, but as You will.”

40पछु चेला क पास आवीन चेला क सुवतला देखियो, आरू पतरस सी कयो, “काय तुमू म्हार साते एक घंटो भी नी जाग सकता हुता?Then Jesus returned to the disciples and found them sleeping. “Were you not able to keep watch with Me for one hour?” He asked Peter.

41जागता रहवो, आरू प्रार्थना करता रहवो कि तुमू पारख मा नी पड़ सको! आत्मा तो तियार छे, बाकुन डील कमजोर छे।”“Watch and pray so that you will not enter into temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak.”

42पछु ईशु दिसरी बार जाईन यी प्रार्थना करियो की, “ए म्हार बास, कदाम यो वाटको मार पीये बीना नी हट सके तो भी थारी मरजी पूरी हुये।”A second time He went away and prayed, “My Father, if this cup cannot pass unless I drink it, may Your will be done.”

43तव ईशु आवीन चेलान क पछु सुवतला देखियो, काहकि उका डुवा मा नींद भराय रया हुती।And again Jesus returned and found them sleeping, for their eyes were heavy.

44आरू चेला क छुड़ी पछु चली गियो, आरू पछु त्या वात कहवीन तीसरी वार प्रार्थना करियो।So He left them and went away once more and prayed a third time, saying the same thing.

45पछु तीसरी बार आवीन उनछे कयो, “हिमी सुवता रहवो? आरू आराम करो: देखो समय आय गयलो छे, आरू मानुस क पोर्यो पापियान क हाथ मा धरायो जाय छे।Then He returned to the disciples and said, “Are you still sleeping and resting? Look, the hour is near, and the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

46उठो, चालीन देखो, म्हारो धरावने वालो नाट आवी गयलो छे।”Rise, let us go! See, My betrayer is approaching!”

47त्यो यो कहवतो हुतो, यहूदा जो बारा चेला माईन एक हुतो, आरू उका साथ मा मुखी पुजारा आरू लोगहन क डाहडान तरफ सी खुब गर्दी तलवार आरू लाठिया लीन आया।While Jesus was still speaking, Judas, one of the Twelve, arrived, accompanied by a large crowd armed with swords and clubs, sent from the chief priests and elders of the people.

48उको धरावने वालो उन लोगहन क यी सहलानी दियो; “जिनाक हाव त्योम लीस त्योत ईशु छे; उको दर लीदो।”Now the betrayer had arranged a signal with them: “The One I kiss is the man; arrest Him.”

49आरू तत्काल ईशु क पास आवीन कयो, “ए गुरू नमस्कार, आरू उको बैस चूमियो।”Going directly to Jesus, he said, “Greetings, Rabbi!” and kissed Him.

50ईशु यहुदा सी कयो, “ए दोस्त, जिना काम क करता तु आयो छे, उको पुरो कर ले।” तव ओको जु आवीन ईशु पर हाथ न्हाखिया आरू ओको धर लेदा।“Friend,” Jesus replied, “do what you came for.” Then the men stepped forward, seized Jesus, and arrested Him.

51तव ईशु क एक साथी आपनी तलवार करीन पुजारान दासन कांटो काट देदो,At this, one of Jesus’ companions drew his sword and struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his ear.

52तव ईशु ओको सी कयो, थारी तलवार मियान मा राख ले काहकि जो तलवार चालाड़े, वे सब तलवार सी नाश करीयो जासे।“Put your sword back in its place,” Jesus said to him. “For all who draw the sword will die by the sword.

53काहकि तु नी समझियो, कि हाव म्हार बास सी विनती कर सकतो हुतो, आरू त्यो सोरगदूत क बारा सैन्य दल सी जादा मार पास अब भी हजुर कर देसे?Are you not aware that I can call on My Father, and He will at once put at My disposal more than twelve legions of angels?

54“बाकुन चुखला शासतुर न वात कि असो हुयनो जरूरी छे, कसो पूरो हुयसे?”But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen this way?”

55उना समय ईशु गर्दी सी कयो, काय तुमू तरवार आरू लाठिया लीन मेखे डाकु क समान धरने करीन आया? हाव हर दाहड़े मंदिर मा बठीन शिक्षा दिया करतो हुतो, आरू तुमू मेखे नी धरिया।At that time Jesus said to the crowd, “Have you come out with swords and clubs to arrest Me as you would an outlaw? Every day I sat teaching in the temple courts, and you did not arrest Me.

56“बाकुन यो सब अतरानकरीन करीन हुयो, कि कागळीयान क वचन पूरो हुये।” तव सब चेला उको छुड़ीन ढास गिया।But this has all happened so that the writings of the prophets would be fulfilled.” Then all the disciples deserted Him and fled.

57आरू ईशु क धरनेवाला उको कैफा नावन पुजारा क पास मा ली गिया, जा शास्त्री आरू डाहडा एखटा हुता।Those who had arrested Jesus led Him away to the house of Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and elders had gathered.

58आरू पतरस दूर सी ओको पछोळ–पछोळ जाईन पुजारान आंगना मा तक गियो, आरू माहय जाईन देखने क सिपायो साथ मा बठ गियो, कि ईशुन काय होयसेBut Peter followed Him at a distance, right up to the courtyard of the high priest. And he went in and sat down with the guards to see the outcome.

59मुखी पुजारो आरू सारी सभा ईशु क मार न्हाखने क करता उका विरोध मा झुटी गवाय हेरता हुता।Now the chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin were seeking false testimony against Jesus in order to put Him to death.

60बाकुन बैस सब झुठा गवाय वाला क आवने पर भी नी मुवी। आखरी मा दूय जन आया,But they did not find any, though many false witnesses came forward. Finally two came forward

61आरू ईशु कयो, “यो कयो कि हाव यहोवा–भगवान क मंदिर क ढोवळी सको आरू उको तीन दाहड़ा मा बनाय सको।”and declared, “This man said, ‘I am able to destroy the temple of God and rebuild it in three days.’”

62तव पुजारो उबो हुईन उका सी कयो, “काय तु काहय जवाब नी देय? या लोगहन थारा विरोध मा काय गवाय देय छे?”So the high priest stood up and asked Him, “Have You no answer? What are these men testifying against You?”

63बाकुन ईशु चुप रियो। तव पुजारो उका सी कयो “हाव तुखे जीवता यहोवाभगवानन शपथ देयो, कि कदाम तु यहोवा–भगवानन पोर्यो छे तो हामरे सी कय दे।”But Jesus remained silent. Then the high priest said to Him, “I charge You under oath by the living God: Tell us if You are the Christ, the Son of God.”

64ईशु उका सी कयो, “तु आपसु कय दियो; आरू हाव तुमरे सी यो भी कहवो, कि अब सी तुमू मानुस क पोर्या क यहोवा–भगवानन जेवड़ा तरफ बठलो, आरू सोरग न वादळा पर आवतला देसु।“You have said it yourself,” Jesus answered. “But I say to all of you, from now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power and coming on the clouds of heaven.”

65तव पुजारो आपसा छिंदरा फाड़ीन कयो, यो यहोवा–भगवानन निन्दा करियो, अब हामु गवायन काय काम? देखो, तु भी हिमी निंदा सोमव्या!At this, the high priest tore his clothes and declared, “He has blasphemed! Why do we need any more witnesses? Look, now you have heard the blasphemy.

66“तुमू काय समझो?” त्या जवाब दीदा, “यो मोतन सजा देने जुगु छे।”What do you think?” “He deserves to die,” they answered.

67तव त्या ईशु क मुय पर थुप्या आरू उको धुमाट्या, दिसरा थापड़ भी दीन कयो,Then they spit in His face and struck Him. Others slapped Him

68आरू कयो, “ए मसीह, हामरे सी भविष्यव्दाणी करीन देखाड़ कि कुन तुखे मारसे?”and said, “Prophesy to us, Christ! Who hit You?”

69“पतरस बाहर आंगना बठलो हतो कि एक दासी ओको पास मा आवीन कहवी, तु भी ईशु गलीली क साथ मा हुतो।”Meanwhile, Peter was sitting out in the courtyard, and a servant girl came up to him. “You also were with Jesus the Galilean,” she said.

70पतरस सब लोगहन क सामने यो कहवीन नकार दियो आरू कयो, “हाव नी जानो कि तु काय कहवी रई।”But he denied it before them all: “I do not know what you are talking about.”

71“जव पतरस बाहर झपला मा जाती रयो, तो दीसरी दासी उको देखीन उन लोगहन क जो वा हुता कहवी, यो भी ईशु नासरी क साथ मा हुतो।”When Peter had gone out to the gateway, another servant girl saw him and said to the people there, “This man was with Jesus of Nazareth.”

72पतरस शपथ खाईन पछु मना कर दियो, “हाव उना मानुस क नी जानो।”And again he denied it with an oath: “I do not know the man!”

73थुड़ीक वार बाद, जो वा उबा हुता, त्या पतरस क पास आवीन उका सी कयो, “सच तु भी ओको माईन एक छे; काहकि थारी बुली थारा बाराम देखाड़े।”After a little while, those standing nearby came up to Peter. “Surely you are one of them,” they said, “for your accent gives you away.”

74तव त्यो कोसने आरू शपथ खाने लागी गियो, “हाव उना मानुस क नी जानो।” आरू तत्काळ कुकड़ो वाषने लाग गियो।At that he began to curse and swear to them, “I do not know the man!” And immediately a rooster crowed.

75तव पतरस क ईशुन कहवली वात फोम आवी, “कुकड़ान वाषने सी पेहले तु तीन वार म्हारो मना करीस।” आरू त्यो बाहर जाईन फुटी–फुटीन रड़ने लाग गियो।Then Peter remembered the word that Jesus had spoken: “Before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.” And he went outside and wept bitterly.
