Praise the LORD from the Heavens (Psalm 33:1–22)
1 DRA Praise ye the Lord from the heavens: praise ye him in the high places. BSB BSB: Hallelujah! Praise the LORD from the heavens; praise Him in the highest places.
2 DRA Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts. BSB BSB: Praise Him, all His angels; praise Him, all His heavenly hosts.
3 DRA Praise ye him, O sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars and light. BSB BSB: Praise Him, O sun and moon; praise Him, all you shining stars.
4 DRA Praise him, ye heavens of heavens: and let all the waters that are above the heavens BSB BSB: Praise Him, O highest heavens, and you waters above the skies.
5 DRA Praise the name of the Lord. For he spoke, and they were made: he commanded, and they were created. BSB BSB: Let them praise the name of the LORD, for He gave the command and they were created.
6 DRA He hath established them for ever, and for ages of ages: he hath made a decree, and it shall not pass away. BSB BSB: He established them forever and ever; He issued a decree that will never pass away.
7 DRA Praise the Lord from the earth, ye dragons, and all ye deeps: BSB BSB: Praise the LORD from the earth, all great sea creatures and ocean depths,
8 DRA Fire, hail, snow, ice, stormy winds which fulfill his word: BSB BSB: lightning and hail, snow and clouds, powerful wind fulfilling His word,
9 DRA Mountains and all hills, fruitful trees and all cedars: BSB BSB: mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars,
10 DRA Beasts and all cattle: serpents and feathered fowls: BSB BSB: wild animals and all cattle, crawling creatures and flying birds,
11 DRA Kings of the earth and all people: princes and all judges of the earth: BSB BSB: kings of the earth and all peoples, princes and all rulers of the earth,
12 DRA Young men and maidens: let the old with the younger, praise the name of the Lord: BSB BSB: young men and maidens, old and young together.
13 DRA For his name alone is exalted. BSB BSB: Let them praise the name of the LORD, for His name alone is exalted; His splendor is above the earth and the heavens.
14 DRA The praise of him is above heaven and earth: and he hath exalted the horn of his people. A hymn to all his saints: to the children of Israel, a people approaching to him. Alleluia. BSB BSB: He has raised up a horn for His people, the praise of all His saints, of Israel, a people near to Him. Hallelujah!
