Let the Earth Rejoice 1 DRA For the same David, when his land was restored again to him. The Lord hath reigned, let the earth rejoice: let many islands be glad. BSB BSB: The LORD reigns, let the earth rejoice; let the distant shores be glad.
2 DRA Clouds and darkness are round about him: justice and judgment are the establishment of his throne. BSB BSB: Clouds and darkness surround Him; righteousness and justice are His throne’s foundation.
3 DRA A fire shall go before him, and shall burn his enemies round about. BSB BSB: Fire goes before Him and consumes His foes on every side.
4 DRA His lightnings have shone forth to the world: the earth saw and trembled. BSB BSB: His lightning illuminates the world; the earth sees and trembles.
5 DRA The mountains melted like wax, at the presence of the Lord: at the presence of the Lord of all the earth. BSB BSB: The mountains melt like wax at the presence of the LORD, before the Lord of all the earth.
6 DRA The heavens declared his justice: and all people saw his glory. BSB BSB: The heavens proclaim His righteousness; all the peoples see His glory.
7 DRA Let them be all confounded that adore graven things, and that glory in their idols. Adore him, all you his angels: BSB BSB: All worshipers of images are put to shame—those who boast in idols. Worship Him, all you gods!
8 DRA Sion heard, and was glad. And the daughters of Juda rejoiced, because of thy judgments, O Lord. BSB BSB: Zion hears and rejoices, and the towns of Judah exult because of Your judgments, O LORD.
9 DRA For thou art the most high Lord over all the earth: thou art exalted exceedingly above all gods. BSB BSB: For You, O LORD, are Most High over all the earth; You are exalted far above all gods.
10 DRA You that love the Lord, hate evil: the Lord preserveth the souls of his saints, he will deliver them out of the hand of the sinner. BSB BSB: Hate evil, O you who love the LORD! He preserves the souls of His saints; He delivers them from the hand of the wicked.
11 DRA Light is risen to the just, and joy to the right of heart. BSB BSB: Light shines on the righteous, gladness on the upright in heart.
12 DRA Rejoice, ye just, in the Lord: and give praise to the remembrance of his holiness. BSB BSB: Rejoice in the LORD, you righteous ones, and praise His holy name.
