   The Two Paths

   (Matthew 5:3–12; Luke 6:20–23)

2. 1UEBBlessed is the man who does not walk in the advice of the wicked, or stand in the pathway with sinners, or sit in the assembly of mockers.BSBBSB: Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, or set foot on the path of sinners, or sit in the seat of mockers.
3. 2UEBBut his delight is in the law of Yahweh, and on his law he meditates day and night.BSBBSB: But his delight is in the Law of the LORD, and on His law he meditates day and night.
4. 3UEBHe will be like a tree planted by the streams of water that produces its fruit in its season, whose leaves do not wither; whatever he does will prosper.BSBBSB: He is like a tree planted by streams of water, yielding its fruit in season, whose leaf does not wither, and who prospers in all he does.
5. 4UEBThe wicked are not so, but are instead like the chaff that the wind drives away.BSBBSB: Not so the wicked! For they are like chaff driven off by the wind.
6. 5UEBSo the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.BSBBSB: Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
7. 6UEBFor Yahweh approves of the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.BSBBSB: For the LORD guards the path of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.
