ULT No, I say to you. But if you do not repent, you will all perish in the same way. BSB BSB: No, I tell you. But unless you repent, you too will all perish.
ULT Or those 18 on whom the tower fell in Siloam and killed them: Do you think that they were worse debtors than all the men residing in Jerusalem? BSB BSB: Or those eighteen who were killed when the tower of Siloam collapsed on them: Do you think that they were more sinful than all the others living in Jerusalem?
ULT No, I say to you. But if you do not repent, you will all likewise perish.” BSB BSB: No, I tell you. But unless you repent, you too will all perish.”
The Parable of the Barren Fig Tree (Isaiah 5:1–7)
ULT And he said to the gardener,‘Behold, for three years I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree and have not found any. Cut it down. For what{ reason} is it even idling the ground?’ BSB BSB: So he said to the keeper of the vineyard, ‘Look, for the past three years I have come to search for fruit on this fig tree and haven’t found any. Therefore cut it down! Why should it use up the soil?’
ULT But answering, he says to him,‘Master, leave it this year also, until I dig around it and put on manure. BSB BSB: ‘Sir,’ the man replied, ‘leave it alone again this year, until I dig around it and fertilize it.
ULT If it indeed bears fruit in the coming one… but if not, you will cut it down!’” BSB BSB: If it bears fruit next year, fine. But if not, you can cut it down.’”

ULT And he placed his hands on her, and immediately she was straightened up, and she glorified God. BSB BSB: Then He placed His hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and began to glorify God.
ULT But answering, the synagogue ruler, being indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, said to the crowd,“There are six days on which it is necessary to work. Therefore come{ and} be healed on them, and not on the day of the Sabbath.” BSB BSB: But the synagogue leader was indignant that Jesus had healed on the Sabbath. “There are six days for work,” he told the crowd. “So come and be healed on those days and not on the Sabbath.”
ULT But the Lord answered him and said,“Hypocrites! Does not each of you on the Sabbath untie his ox or donkey from the stall and lead it away to drink? BSB BSB: “You hypocrites!” the Lord replied. “Does not each of you on the Sabbath untie his ox or donkey from the stall and lead it to water?
ULT But this one, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan bound, behold, for 18 years, ought she not to have been released from this bond on the day of the Sabbath?” BSB BSB: Then should not this daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has kept bound for eighteen long years, be released from her bondage on the Sabbath day?”
ULT And{ as} he was saying these things, all the ones opposing him were put to shame, but the whole crowd was rejoicing at all the glorious things being done by him. 19 ULT It is like a mustard seed that a man took{ and} threw into his garden, and it grew and became a tree, and the birds of the sky nested in its branches.” BSB BSB: It is like a mustard seed that a man tossed into his garden. It grew and became a tree, and the birds of the air nested in its branches.”

ULT After the master of the house gets up and closes the door, then you will begin to stand outside and to knock on the door, saying,‘Lord, open for us.’ But he will answer{ and} say to you,‘I do not know you, where you are from.’ BSB BSB: After the master of the house gets up and shuts the door, you will stand outside knocking and saying, ‘Lord, open the door for us.’ But he will reply, ‘I do not know where you are from.’
ULT Then you will begin to say,‘We ate and drank before you, and you taught in our streets.’ BSB BSB: Then you will say, ‘We ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets.’
ULT And he will speak, saying to you,‘I do not know where you are from. Get away from me, all you workers of unrighteousness!’ BSB BSB: And he will answer, ‘I tell you, I do not know where you are from. Depart from me, all you evildoers.’
ULT In that place, there will be wailing and the grinding of teeth when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you are thrown outside. BSB BSB: There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth when you see Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves are thrown out.
ULT And they will come from east and west and from north and south and will recline to eat in the kingdom of God. BSB BSB: People will come from east and west and north and south, and will recline at the table in the kingdom of God.

ULT Nevertheless, it is necessary for me to journey today, and tomorrow, and the following{ day}, for it is not possible for a prophet to perish outside of Jerusalem. BSB BSB: Nevertheless, I must keep going today and tomorrow and the next day, for it is not admissible for a prophet to perish outside of Jerusalem.
ULT Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one killing the prophets and stoning the ones having been sent to her! How often I desired to gather your children the way a hen her own brood under her wings, and you were not willing! BSB BSB: O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those sent to her, how often I have longed to gather your children together as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were unwilling!
ULT Behold, your house is left to you. And I say to you, you will certainly not see me until it comes when you say,‘Blessed is the one coming in the name of the Lord.’” BSB BSB: Look, your house is left to you desolate. And I tell you that you will not see Me again until you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.’”
