The Heavens Declare the Glory of God 2 ULT Day to day makes flow forth a word, and night to night declares knowledge. BSB BSB: Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge.
3 ULT { There} is no speech and{ there} are no words, their voice is not being heard. BSB BSB: Without speech or language, without a sound to be heard,
4 ULT Their line has gone out through all of the earth, and their words to the end of the world. He has set in them a tent for the sun, BSB BSB: their voice has gone out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens He has pitched a tent for the sun.
5 ULT and that is like a bridegroom coming out from his chamber, it rejoices like a strong man to run its path. BSB BSB: Like a bridegroom emerging from his chamber, like a champion rejoicing to run his course,
6 ULT From the end of the heavens is its going forth, and its circuit to the ends of them, and there is nothing hidden from its heat. BSB BSB: it rises at one end of the heavens and runs its circuit to the other; nothing is deprived of its warmth.
7 ULT The law of Yahweh is perfect, restoring the soul; the testimony of Yahweh is sure, making wise the simple. BSB BSB: The Law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the LORD is trustworthy, making wise the simple.
8 ULT The precepts of Yahweh are right, making the heart rejoice; the commandment of Yahweh is pure, enlightening the eyes. BSB BSB: The precepts of the LORD are right, bringing joy to the heart; the commandments of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes.
9 ULT The fear of Yahweh is clean, enduring forever; the judgments of Yahweh are true, they are altogether righteous. BSB BSB: The fear of the LORD is pure, enduring forever; the judgments of the LORD are true, being altogether righteous.
10 ULT They are to be desired more than gold, and more than much fine gold, and they are more sweet than honey and nectar of honeycombs. BSB BSB: They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the comb.
11 ULT Also, by them your servant is warned; in keeping them there is great reward. BSB BSB: By them indeed Your servant is warned; in keeping them is great reward.
12 ULT Who can discern{ his} errors? Acquit me from hidden{ faults}. BSB BSB: Who can discern his own errors? Cleanse me from my hidden faults.
13 ULT Also, keep back your servant from presumptuous ones; let them not rule over me. Then I will be blameless, and I will be innocent from great transgression. BSB BSB: Keep Your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me. Then I will be blameless and cleansed of great transgression.
14 ULT Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to your face, Yahweh, my strength and the one redeeming me. BSB BSB: May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in Your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.
