4De los hijos de Hemán: Buquías, Matanías, Uziel, Sebuel, Jeremot, Hananías, Hananí, Eliata, Gidalti, Romanti Ezer, Josbecasa, Maloti, Hotir y Mahaziot.From the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, Romamti-ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth.

5Todos estos fueron los hijos de Hemán, rey de los profetas. Dios le dio a Hemán catorce hijos y tres hijas con el fin de honrarlo.All these sons of Heman the king’s seer were given him through the promises of God to exalt him, for God had given Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.

Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman were under the direction of the king.

7Ellos y sus hermanos que fueron expertos y entrenados para hacerle música al SEÑOR sumaron a 288.Together with their relatives, who were all trained and skillful in the songs of the LORD, they numbered 288.

8Ellos echaron suerte a sus tareas, todas iguales, las mismas para los jóvenes así como para los ancianos, los maestros asi como para los estudiantes.They cast lots for their duties, young and old alike, teacher as well as pupil.

9Respecto a los hijos de Asaf: la primera suerte cayó sobre familia de José; la segunda sobre familia de Gedalías, doce personas en total;The first lot, which was for Asaph, fell to Joseph, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all; the second to Gedaliah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;

10la tercera cayó sobre Zacur, sus hijos y sus parientes, doce personas en total;the third to Zaccur, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;

11la cuarta cayó sobre Izri, sus hijos y sus parientes, doce personas en total;the fourth to Izri, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;

12la quinta cayó sobre Netanías, sus hijos y sus parientes, doce personas en total;the fifth to Nethaniah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;

13la sexta cayó sobre Buquías, sus hijos y sus parintes, doce personas en total;the sixth to Bukkiah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;

14la séptima cayó sobre Jesarela, sus hijos y sus parientes, doce personas en total;the seventh to Jesarelah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
