7 ULB Pero no aceptes historias profanas amadas por las mujeres ancianas. Mas bien, entrénate en la piedad. BSB BSB: But reject irreverent, silly myths. Instead, train yourself for godliness.
8 ULB Porque el entrenamiento físico es poco útil, pero la piedad es útil para todas las cosas. Y tiene promesa para esta vida y la vida que está por venir. BSB BSB: For physical exercise is of limited value, but godliness is valuable in every way, holding promise for the present life and for the one to come.

12 ULB No permitas que nadie desprecie tu juventud. En cambio, se un ejemplo para aquellos que creen, en palabra, conducta, amor, fe y pureza. BSB BSB: Let no one despise your youth, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.
13 ULB Hasta que yo vuelva, ocúpate en la lectura, en la exhortación y en la enseñanza. BSB BSB: Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to exhortation, and to teaching.
14 ULB No descuides el don que está en ti, que fue dado a ti a través de la profecía, con la imposición de manos de los ancianos. BSB BSB: Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given you through the prophecy spoken over you at the laying on of the hands of the elders.
