1. 1ULBAhora con respecto a la venida de nuestro Señor Jesucristo y nuestro encuentro junto a Él, nosotros les solicitamos, hermanos,BSBBSB: Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to Him, we ask you, brothers,
2. 2ULBque ustedes no sean fácilmente perturbados ni preocupados, sea por espíritu, por mensaje, o por carta como si viniera de nosotros, acerca de que el día del Señor ya ha venido.BSBBSB: not to be easily disconcerted or alarmed by any spirit or message or letter seeming to be from us, alleging that the Day of the Lord has already come.
3. 3ULBNo permitan que nadie les engañen en modo alguno. Pues no vendrá hasta después que venga la caída, y el hombre desordenado sea revelado, el hijo de la destrucción.BSBBSB: Let no one deceive you in any way, for it will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness—the son of destruction—is revealed.
4. 4ULBÉste es quien se opone y se exalta a sí mismo en contra de todo lo que se llama Dios o lo que es adorado. De manera que, se sienta en el templo de Dios y se muestra a sí mismo como Dios.BSBBSB: He will oppose and exalt himself above every so-called god or object of worship. So he will seat himself in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God.
5. 5ULB¿No recuerdan que cuando yo estaba con ustedes les dije estas cosas?BSBBSB: Do you not remember that I told you these things while I was still with you?
6. 6ULBAhora ustedes saben lo que lo restringe, para que él sea revelado sólo en el tiempo exacto.BSBBSB: And you know what is now restraining him, so that he may be revealed at the proper time.
7. 7ULBPorque el misterio del desorden está ya trabajando, sólo hay Uno quien lo restringe ahora hasta que él sea sacado del camino.BSBBSB: For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work, but the one who now restrains it will continue until he is taken out of the way.
8. 8ULBEntonces el desordenado será revelado, a quien el Señor Jesús matará con el soplo de Su boca. El Señor lo convertirá en nada por la revelación de Su venida.BSBBSB: And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will slay with the breath of His mouth and annihilate by the majesty of His arrival.
9. 9ULBLa venida del desordenado será debido a la obra de Satanás con todo poder, señales y falsas maravillas,BSBBSB: The coming of the lawless one will be accompanied by the working of Satan, with every kind of power, sign, and false wonder,
10. 10ULBy con todo engaño de injusticias. Estas cosas serán para aquellos que están pereciendo, porque ellos no recibieron el amor de la verdad para que puedan ser salvados.BSBBSB: and with every wicked deception directed against those who are perishing, because they refused the love of the truth that would have saved them.
11. 11ULBPor este motivo Dios está enviándoles una obra de error para que ellos creyeran una mentira.BSBBSB: For this reason God will send them a powerful delusion so that they believe the lie,
12. 12ULBEl resultado es para que todos ellos sean juzgados, aquellos quienes no creyeron en la verdad sino que se complacieron en la injusticia.BSBBSB: in order that judgment may come upon all who have disbelieved the truth and delighted in wickedness.
13. 13ULBPero nosotros siempre debemos dar gracias a Dios por ustedes, hermanos amados del Señor. Pues Dios les escogió a ustedes como los primeros frutos de salvación en santificación del Espíritu y creer en la verdad.BSBBSB: But we should always thank God for you, brothers who are loved by the Lord, because God chose you from the beginning to be saved by the sanctification of the Spirit and by faith in the truth.
14. 14ULBEsto es a lo que Él les llamó por medio de nuestro evangelio para obtener la gloria de nuestro Señor Jesucristo.BSBBSB: To this He called you through our gospel, so that you may share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
15. 15ULBAsí entonces, hermanos, permanezcan firmes. Retengan las tradiciones que les fueron enseñadas, sea mediante palabra o por nuestra carta.BSBBSB: Therefore, brothers, stand firm and cling to the traditions we taught you, whether by speech or by letter.
16. 16ULBAhora, que nuestro Señor Jesucristo mismo, y Dios nuestro Padre que nos amó y nos dio eterno consuelo y buena confianza en el futuro mediante la gracia,BSBBSB: Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who by grace has loved us and given us eternal comfort and good hope,
17. 17ULBconsuele y establezca sus corazones en toda buena obra y palabra.BSBBSB: encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good word and deed.
