4 GLT Et vous pères, ne mettez pas vos enfants en colère. Plutôt, élevez-les dans la discipline et l' instruction du Seigneur. BSB BSB: Fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath; instead, bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.
5 GLT Esclave, soyez obéissant à vos maîtres terrestre, avec un profond respect et tremblement, dans l'honnêteté de votre coeur. Obeissez-les comme vous le ferez à Christ. BSB BSB: Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear and sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ.
6 GLT N'obeissez pas seulement quand vos maitres vous observent pour leur plaire. Au contraire soyez obeissant comme des esclaves de Christ. Faites la volonté de Dieu de bon coeur. BSB BSB: And do this not only to please them while they are watching, but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from your heart.
7 GLT Servez avec tout votre coeur comme si vous serviez le Seigneur et non les hommes. BSB BSB: Serve with good will, as to the Lord and not to men,
8 GLT Sachez que pour toute bonne oeuvre que toute personne fait, elle recevra une recompense du Seigneur, qu'elle soit esclave ou libre. BSB BSB: because you know that the Lord will reward each one for whatever good he does, whether he is slave or free.
10 GLT En fin, fortifiez-vous dans le Seigneur et par sa force toute-puissante. BSB BSB: Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power.
11 GLT Revêtez-vous de toutes l'armures de Dieu, afin d'être capable de tenir ferme contre les ruses du diable. BSB BSB: Put on the full armor of God, so that you can make your stand against the devil’s schemes.
12 GLT Car notre combat n'est contre la chair et le sang. Au contraire il est contre les gouvernements et les autorités spirituelles, les chefs du royaume de ténèbres, contre les esprits méchant dans les lieux célestes. BSB BSB: For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this world’s darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
13 GLT Alors, revêtez-vous avec toutes l'armure de Dieu, afin que vous soyez capable de tenir ferme contre le mal dans ces jours mauvais. Après avoir fait toute chose, vous tiendrez ferme. 16 GLT Dans toutes circonstances prenez le bouclier de la foi, avec lequel vous pourriez être capable d'éteindre toutes les flèches enflammées du malin. BSB BSB: In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

18 GLT Avec toutes sortes de prières et requêtes, Priez en tout temps dans l’Esprit. Avec cet pensée, Veillez toujours avec tooute perseverance et de prières pour tous les croyants. 19 GLT Et priez pour moi, afin qu’un message puisse m'être donné quand j’ouvre la bouche. Priez que je puisse faire connaître avec hardiesse le mystère de l’Evangile. 20 GLT C'est pour l' Evangile que je suis un ambassadeur dans les chaînes, afin en elles je puisse parler avec assurance comme je devrais en parler. BSB BSB: for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may proclaim it fearlessly, as I should.
21 GLT Mais que vous puissiez aussi connaître mes affaires et comment je me porte. Tychique, le frère bien-aimé et ministre fidèle dans le Seigneur vous informera en toute. BSB BSB: Tychicus, the beloved brother and faithful servant in the Lord, will tell you everything, so that you also may know about me and what I am doing.
22 GLT Je vous l'ai envoyé vers vous pour ce même but, pour que vous sachiez notre situation, et pour qu’il console vos cœurs. BSB BSB: I have sent him to you for this very purpose, that you may know about us, and that he may encourage your hearts.
23 GLT Que la paix soet aux frères, et l’amour avec la foi soient de la part de Dieu le Père et du Seigneur Jésus-Christ. BSB BSB: Peace to the brothers and love with faith from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
24 GLT Que la grâce soit avec tous ceux qui aiment notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ d’un amour sans fin. BSB BSB: Grace to all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with an undying love.
