2. 2GLTRendez ma joie parfaite en ayant la même pensée, ayant le même amour, étant unis en esprit, et ayant le même objectif.BSBBSB: then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being united in spirit and purpose.
3. 3GLTNe faites rien par égoisme ou par simple prétention. Au contraire, avec humilité, considérez les autres meilleur que vous.BSBBSB: Do nothing out of selfish ambition or empty pride, but in humility consider others more important than yourselves.
4. 4GLTNe cherchez pas à satisfaire vos propres intérêts, mais aussi ceux des autres.BSBBSB: Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.

8. 8GLTIl s'humilia et devint obéissant jusqu'à la mort, la mort de la croix.BSBBSB: And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to death—even death on a cross.
9. 9GLTC'est pourquoi aussi Dieu l'a souverainement élevé et lui a donné le nom au-dessus de tout nom.BSBBSB: Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name above all names,
10. 10GLTIl fit cela afin qu'au nom de Jésus, tout genou fléchit dans les cieux, sur la terre et sous la terre.BSBBSB: that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11. 11GLTEt toute langue confesse que Jésus-Christ est Seigneur, à la gloire de Dieu le Père.BSBBSB: and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
12. 12GLTAinsi donc mes bien-aimés, comme vous avez toujours obéi, pas seulement en ma présence mais maintenant beaucoup plus en mon absence, travaillez continuellement à votre propre salut avec crainte et tremblement.BSBBSB: Therefore, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence, but now even more in my absence, continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling.
13. 13GLTCar c'est Dieu qui produit en vous le vouloir et le faire pour son bon plaisir.BSBBSB: For it is God who works in you to will and to act on behalf of His good purpose.
14. 14GLTFaites tout sans plaintes ni murmures.BSBBSB: Do everything without complaining or arguing,
15. 15GLTAgissez ainsi afin que vous deveniez irréprochables et honnêtes, des enfants de Dieu sans défauts. Agissez ainsi afin que vous brilliez comme lumières dans le monde, au milieu d'une génération perverse et corrompue.BSBBSB: so that you may be blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and perverse generation, in which you shine as lights in the world
16. 16GLTTenez ferme la parole de vie afin que je trouve une raison de me glorifier au jour du Christ, car alors je saurai que je n'ai pas couru ni travaillé en vain.BSBBSB: as you hold forth the word of life, in order that I may boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain.
17. 17GLTMais même si je suis offert comme une offrande le sacrficie et pour le service de votre foi, je me réjouis et me réjouis avec vous tous.BSBBSB: But even if I am being poured out like a drink offering on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you.
18. 18GLTEt de la même manière, réjouissez-vous aussi et réjouissez-vous avec moi.BSBBSB: So you too should be glad and rejoice with me.
19. 19GLTMais j'espère, dans le Seigneur Jésus, vous envoyer Timothée bientôt, afin que je sois aussi encouragé quand je saurai les choses vous concernant.BSBBSB: Now I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you soon, that I also may be cheered when I learn how you are doing.
20. 20GLTJe n'ai personne d'autre qui a son attitude, qui se soucie vraiment pour vous.BSBBSB: I have nobody else like him who will genuinely care for your needs.
21. 21GLTCar ils cherchent tous leurs propres intérêts et non ceux de Jésus-Christ.BSBBSB: For all the others look after their own interests, not those of Jesus Christ.
22. 22GLTMais vous savez sa valeur, car comme un enfant il sers son père, alors il servit avec moi dans l'évangile.BSBBSB: But you know Timothy’s proven worth, that as a child with his father he has served with me to advance the gospel.
23. 23GLTJ'espère donc l'envoyer dès que je connaitrai clairement le sort qui m'est réservé.BSBBSB: So I hope to send him as soon as I see what happens with me.
24. 24GLTMais j'ai confiance dans le Seigneur que moi-même je viendrai bientôt.BSBBSB: And I trust in the Lord that I myself will come soon.
25. 25GLTJe trouve nécessaire de vous renvoyer Epaphrodite. Il est mon frère et mon compagnon de lutte, et votre messager et serviteur pour mes besoins.BSBBSB: But I thought it necessary to send back to you Epaphroditus, my brother, fellow worker, and fellow soldier, who is also your messenger and minister to my needs.
26. 26GLTLorsque vous avez entendu qu'il était malade, il était profondément attristé et désirait être avec vous tous.BSBBSB: For he has been longing for all of you and is distressed because you heard he was ill.
27. 27GLTIl était sérieusement malade et près de mourir, mais Dieu a eu pitié de lui. Pas de lui seul, mais aussi de moi afin que je n'ai pas souffrance après souffrance.BSBBSB: He was sick indeed, nearly unto death. But God had mercy on him, and not only on him but also on me, to spare me sorrow upon sorrow.
28. 28GLTJe me suis empressé de vous l'envoyer afin que lorsque vous le verrez encore, vous soyez dans la joie et moi je ne m'inquièterai plus beaucoup.BSBBSB: Therefore I am all the more eager to send him, so that when you see him again you may rejoice, and I may be less anxious.
29. 29GLTAccueillez bien Epaphrodite dans le Seigneur en toute joie. Honorez les personnes telles que lui.BSBBSB: Welcome him in the Lord with great joy, and honor men like him,
30. 30GLTCar ce fut pour l'oeuvre du Christ qu'il faillit mourir. Il risqua sa vie pour me servir et faire ce que vous ne pouviez faire en service pour moi.BSBBSB: because he nearly died for the work of Christ, risking his life to make up for your deficit of service to me.
