1. 1GAZEዋቀዮ ጎፍታን ዋን ከነ ነት አርግሲሴ፦ ኩን ጉቦ እጀ ብልቻቴን ጉተሜዸ።BSBBSB: This is what the Lord GOD showed me: I saw a basket of summer fruit.
2. 2GAZEእንስ፣ “አሞስ፣ አት ማል አርጉት ጅርተ?” ጄዼ ነ ጋፈቴ። አንሞ፣ “ጉቦ እጀ ብልቻቴን ጉተሜ ቶኮ” ጄዼን ዴብሴፍ። ኤርገሲ ዋቀዮ አከነ ናን ጄዼ፤ “ሰበኮ እስራኤልት ዬሮን ዹፌረ፤ አን ስአች እሳን ህንበራሩ።”BSBBSB: “Amos, what do you see?” He asked. “A basket of summer fruit,” I replied. So the LORD said to me, “The end has come for My people Israel; I will no longer spare them.”
3. 3GAZEዋቀዮ ጎፍታን አከነ ጄዸ፤ “ጋፈስ ፋርፈትናን መነ ቁልቁሉማ ኬሳ ቦእቸት ጌደረመ። ሬፍ አከ መሌ ሄዱን ለፈ ሁንደት ገተመ! ጨልእሱንስ ንተአ!”BSBBSB: “In that day,” declares the Lord GOD, “the songs of the temple will turn to wailing. Many will be the corpses, strewn in silence everywhere!”
4. 4GAZEእስን ወር ረከቶተ ዽዺተኒ ህዬዪ ብየቲ በሌስተን ዋን ከነ ዸገኣ፤BSBBSB: Hear this, you who trample the needy, who do away with the poor of the land,
5. 5GAZEእስን አከነ ጄቱ፤ “አከ ኑ ምዻን ጉርጉረኑፍ ባቲን ሃራን ዮም ጎበነ? አከ ኑ ቀመዲ ገባ ባፈትኑፍ ሰንበትን ዮም ደርበ?” እስን ወር ሰፈርቱ ጥኖት ፈየደምተኒ ገቲሞ ኦል ካፍተን፣ መዳሊ ሶባቲን ነመ ጎዎምስተኒ ሳምቱ፤BSBBSB: asking, “When will the New Moon be over, that we may sell grain? When will the Sabbath end, that we may market wheat? Let us reduce the ephah and increase the shekel; let us cheat with dishonest scales.
6. 6GAZEህዬዪ ሜቲዻን፣ ረከታሞ ኮጴ ሚለ ለማኒቲን ብተተኒ ግርዲስ ቀመዲ ወጅን ጉርጉረቱ።BSBBSB: Let us buy the poor with silver and the needy for a pair of sandals, selling even the chaff with the wheat!”
7. 7GAZEዋቀዮ አከነ ጄዼ ኡልፍነ ያቆቢን ከከቴረ፤ “አን ጎንኩማ ዋን እሳን ሆጄተን ቶኮሌ ህንእራንፈዹ።BSBBSB: The LORD has sworn by the Pride of Jacob: “I will never forget any of their deeds.
8. 8GAZE“ሰበቢ ከናፍ ለፍት ክርክርቴ ነሞትን እሼ ኬሰ ጅራተን ሁንድ ህንቦአኒ? ጉቱማን ብየ ሰና አኩመ ለገ አበያ ኦል ከአ፤ እሼን አኩመ ለገ ግብጥ ኦል ደደርበተምቴ ልቅምፈምት።”BSBBSB: Will not the land quake for this, and all its dwellers mourn? All of it will swell like the Nile; it will surge and then subside like the Nile in Egypt.
9. 9GAZEዋቀዮ ጎፍታን አከነ ጄዸ፤ “በረ ሰነ፣ “አን አከ አዱን ሳፋዻን ዺቴ ለፍትስ ጉዩመ አዲዻን ዱከኖፍቱ ነንጎዸ።BSBBSB: And in that day, declares the Lord GOD, I will make the sun go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the daytime.
10. 10GAZEአን አያነ አመንቲኬሰኒ ገደት፣ ስርበኬሰን ሁንደስ ቦእቸት ነንጌደረ። አን አከ እስን ሁንድ ወያ ገዳ ኡፈተኒ መታኬሰን ሃደተን ነንጎዸ። አን ዬሮ ሰነ አኩመ ቦእቸ እልመ ቶክቻ፣ ዹመሳስ አከ ጉያ ሀዻኣ ነንጎዸ።”BSBBSB: I will turn your feasts into mourning and all your songs into lamentation. I will cause everyone to wear sackcloth and every head to be shaved. I will make it like a time of mourning for an only son, and its outcome like a bitter day.
11. 11GAZEዋቀዮ ጎፍታን አከነ ጄዸ፤ “ዬሮን አን ብየቲት ቤለ ፍዱ ቶኮ ንዹፈ፤ እንስ ቤለ ዱቢ ዋቀዮ ዸገኡት መሌ ቤለ ኛታ ዮካን ዼቡ ብሻኒ ምት።BSBBSB: Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord GOD, when I will send a famine on the land—not a famine of bread or a thirst for water, but a famine of hearing the words of the LORD.
12. 12GAZEነሞትን ዱቢ ዋቀዮ በርባቸ ገላና ገረ ገላናት፣ ካባ ገረ በአ ቢፍቱት ንጆሩ፤ ገሩ ህንአርገተን።BSBBSB: People will stagger from sea to sea and roam from north to east, seeking the word of the LORD, but they will not find it.
13. 13GAZE“በረ ሰነ “ሸመረን በበሬዶፊ ደርገጎትን ዺራ ጀጀቦን ዼቦተኒ ገገቡ።BSBBSB: In that day the lovely young women—the young men as well—will faint from thirst.
14. 14GAZEወር ጩቡ ሰማርያቲን ከከተን ዮካን ‘ያ ዳን ዹጋ ዋቀኬ ጅራታ’ ጄዸን፣ ዮካን ወር ‘ዹጋ ዋቀ ቤርሼባ’ ጄዸኒ ከከተን አከ ለመተ ህንካኔፍ ንኩፉ።”BSBBSB: Those who swear by the guilt of Samaria and say, ‘As surely as your god lives, O Dan,’ or, ‘As surely as the way of Beersheba lives’—they will fall, never to rise again.”
