1. 1GMVEሄꬓንꬆ ጋላስ ጋሊላ ጊዶን ዲዛ ቃና ጌቴቲዛ ካታማን ሳርጌይ ዴስ፤ ዬሱሳ ኣዬያካ ሄን ዳዉስ።BSBBSB: On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there,
2. 2GMVEዬሱሲኔ ኢዛ ካሊዛይቲካ ሳርጌዛሶ ጼይጌቲዳ።BSBBSB: and Jesus and His disciples had also been invited to the wedding.
3. 3GMVEሳርጌዛሶን ዎይኔፔ ኣጌቲዳ ኡሻይ ዉሪን ዬሱሳ ኣያ ዬሱሳ፥ «ዎይኔ ኡሻይ ዉሪዴስ» ጋዱስ።BSBBSB: When the wine ran out, Jesus’ mother said to Him, “They have no more wine.”
4. 4GMVEዬሱሲካ ኢዞ፥ «ኣዬ! ታስ ኔናራ ኣዚ ዲዜ? ታ ዎዴይ ጋኪቤና» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: “Woman, what is that to you and to Me?” Jesus replied. “My hour has not yet come.”
5. 5GMVEሄ ዎዴ ዬሱሳ ኣዬያ ማራማ ሄን ጋዴዛን ዲዛ ኦሳንቻታ፥ «ኢዚ ኢንቴና ጊዛይሳ ኦꬂቴ» ጋዱስ።BSBBSB: His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever He tells you.”
6. 6GMVEኣይሁዳታስ ጌሾ ዎጋይ ዲዛ ጊሻስ ሹቻፌ ሜꬌቲዳ ኡሱፑን ባꬃቲ ሄን ዴቴስ፤ ኢስቲካ ኢሶይ ኢሶይ ናምኡ ኦቶ ዎይኮ ሄꬑ ኦቶ ሃꬄ ኦይኬቴስ።BSBBSB: Now six stone water jars had been set there for the Jewish rites of purification. Each could hold from twenty to thirty gallons.
7. 7GMVEዬሱሲ ኦሳንቻታ፥ «ባꬃታ ሃꬄ ኩንꬂቴ» ጊን ኢስቲካ ባꬃታ ዶና ጋካናስ ሲልቲ ሂስቲ ኩንꬂዳ።BSBBSB: Jesus told the servants, “Fill the jars with water.” So they filled them to the brim.
8. 8GMVEሄሳፌ ጉዬ ኦሳንቻታ፥ «ኣኔ ሃኢ ዱቂዲ ሳርጌዛ ኣላፌዛስ ኢዛፔ ኢሚቴ» ጊዴስ። ኢስቲካ ዱቂ ዱቂ ኢሚዳ።BSBBSB: “Now draw some out,” He said, “and take it to the master of the banquet.” They did so,
9. 9GMVEኣላፌዚካ ዎይኔ ኡሻን ላሜቲዳ ሃꬃ ጋንጺ ጼሊዲ ኢዚ ኣዋፔ ዪዳኮ ኤሪቤና። ሃꬃ ዱቂዳይቲ ጊዲኮ ኤሬቴስ፤ ሄሳ ጊሻስ ሳርጌዛ ኣላፌይ ሚሺራዛ ጼይጊዲ፥BSBBSB: and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not know where it was from, but the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside
10. 10GMVE«ኣሲ ዉሪ ሳርጌሶን ኮይሮ ሎኦ ኡሹ ሺሼስ፤ ኣሳይ ማꬆቲዳፔ ጉዬ ኢታ ኤሄስ፤ ጊዶ ኣቲን ኔ ጊዲኮ ሎኦ ኡሹ ሃኖ ጋካናስ ዎꬃ ጋዳሳ» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: and said, “Everyone serves the fine wine first, and then the cheap wine after the guests are drunk. But you have saved the fine wine until now!”
11. 11GMVEዬሱሲ ሄሳ ማላሊሲዛ ማላታ ኡባፌ ኮይሮ ጋሊላ ጌቴቲዛ ዴሬን ቃና ካታማን ኦꬂዴስ፤ ባ ቦንቾካ ሄሳ ማላን ቆንጪሲዴስ፤ ኢዛ ካሊዛይቲካ ኢዛን ኣማኒዳ።BSBBSB: Jesus performed this, the first of His signs, at Cana in Galilee. He thus revealed His glory, and His disciples believed in Him.
12. 12GMVEሄሳፌ ጉዬ ዬሱሲ ባ ኣዬይራ ባ ኢሻታራኔ ባና ካሊዛይታራ ዱጌ ቂፊርናሆሜ ዎꬊዲ ሄን ጉꬃ ዎዴ ታኪዳ።BSBBSB: After this, He went down to Capernaum with His mother and brothers and His disciples, and they stayed there a few days.
13. 13GMVEኣይሁዳታ ፓዚጋ ባኣሌይ ማቲዳ ጊሻስ ዬሱሲ ዬሩሳላሜ ቢዴስ።BSBBSB: When the Jewish Passover was near, Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
14. 14GMVEጾሳ ኬꬃ ጊቤ ጊዶን ቦራታ፥ ዶርሳታኔ ሃራጴታ ባይዚዛይታ ቃሴካ ሚሼ ላሚዛይቲ ሚሼ ላሚሺን ዴሚዴስ።BSBBSB: In the temple courts He found men selling cattle, sheep, and doves, and money changers seated at their tables.
15. 15GMVEሄሳ ቤኢዲ ዎዶሮ ጹርቃፌ ዶቂ ኤኪዲ ኣሳኔ ቦራታካ ጾሳ ኬꬃ ጊቤፌ ኬሲዴስ፤ ሚሽ ላሚዛይታ ሚሻካ ꬋርጪዲ ኢስታ ጻራጴዛታካ ሺሪ ሺሪ ዬጊዴስ።BSBBSB: So He made a whip out of cords and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle. He poured out the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables.
16. 16GMVEሃራጴ ባይዚዛ ኣሳካ፥ «ሃይሳ ኡባ ጌዴ ዲጊቴ! ታ ኣዋ ኬꬃ ዛልኤ ኬꬅ ሂስቶፍቴ» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: To those selling doves He said, “Get these out of here! How dare you turn My Father’s house into a marketplace!”
17. 17GMVEሄ ዎዴ ኢዛ ካሊዛይቲ፥ «ኔ ኬꬃ ሚሻይ ታና ታማ ማላ ጹጌስ» ጌቴቲ ጻፌቲዳ ቃላ ቆፓ።BSBBSB: His disciples remembered that it is written: “Zeal for Your house will consume Me.”
18. 18GMVEሄሳፌ ጉዬ ኣይሁዳ ኣሳ ሃላቃቲ ዬሱሳ፥ «ኔ ሃይሳ ዉርሳ ኦꬃናስ ሼኔይ ኔስ ዲዛይሳ ቆንጪሳናስ ኔ ኑና ኣይ ማላሊሲዛ ማላታ ቤሳኔ?» ጊ ኦይቺዳ።BSBBSB: On account of this, the Jews demanded, “What sign can You show us to prove Your authority to do these things?”
19. 19GMVEዬሱሲካ ኢስታስ፥ «ኣኔ ሃይሳ ጾሳ ኬꬃ ላሊቴ፤ ታ ኢዛ ሄꬑ ጋላሳራ ዛራ ኬጻና» ጊ ዛሪዴስ።BSBBSB: Jesus answered, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up again.”
20. 20GMVEኢስቲካ ኢዛ፥ «ሃይሳ ጾሳ ኬꬃ ኬጻናስ ካሴ ኦይዱ ታማኔ ኡሱፑን ላይꬅ ኤኪዴስ፤ ሂስቲን ኔኒ ሄꬑ ጋላሳራ ኬጻ ኩንꬃኔ?» ጊ ኦይቺዳ።BSBBSB: “This temple took forty-six years to build,” the Jews replied, “and You are going to raise it up in three days?”
21. 21GMVEጊዶ ኣቲን ዬሱሲ፥ «ጾሳ ኬꬅ» ጊዳይ ባ ኣሳቴꬃ ጊሻሳ።BSBBSB: But Jesus was speaking about the temple of His body.
22. 22GMVEሄሳ ጊሻስ ዬሱሲ ሃይቂ ዴንዲን ኢዛ ካሊዛይቲ ሄ ዮኦዛ ዩሺ ቆፒዲ ኤሪዳኔ ሃይሳ ካሴ ማጻፋን ጻፌቲዳይሳ ዬሱሲ ኢስታስ ካሴቲ ዮቲዳ ቃላ ኣማኒዳ።BSBBSB: After He was raised from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this. Then they believed the Scripture and the word that Jesus had spoken.
23. 23GMVEፓዚጋ ባኣሌ ጋላስ ዬሱሲ ዬሩሳላሜን ዲሼ ኦꬂዳ ማላታታ ቤኢዲ ዳሮ ኣሳይ ኢዛ ኣማኒዴስ።BSBBSB: While He was in Jerusalem at the Passover Feast, many people saw the signs He was doing and believed in His name.
24. 24GMVEቃሴ ዬሱሲ ኣሳ ኡባ ኤሪዛ ጊሻስ ኦናካ ኣማኒቤና።BSBBSB: But Jesus did not entrust Himself to them, for He knew them all.
25. 25GMVEኢዚ ኣሳ ዎዚናን ዲዛ ኡባ ኤሪዛ ጊሻስ ኦኒካ ኢዛስ ኣሳ ጊሻስ ዮታናስ ኮሺቤና።BSBBSB: He did not need any testimony about man, for He knew what was in a man.
