1. 1GMVEዬሱሲ ባና ካሊዛይታ፥ «ኣሳ ꬉጲዲ ናጋራን ዬጊዛ ሚሺ ዮንታ ኣጌና፤ ጊዶ ኣቲን ያና ꬉጴዛስ ጋሶ ጊዲዛዴስ ኣዬ ኣና!BSBBSB: Jesus said to His disciples, “It is inevitable that stumbling blocks will come, but woe to the one through whom they come!
2. 2GMVEሄ ኣዴዚ ሃ ጉꬃታፔ ኢሳስ ꬉጴ ጊዳናፔ ዎጻ ሹቺ ኢዛ ቆꬌን ቃሼቲን ኣባ ጊዶ ኢዚ ዬጌቲዛኮ ኢዛስ ሎኦ ጊዳና።BSBBSB: It would be better for him to have a millstone hung around his neck and to be thrown into the sea than to cause one of these little ones to stumble.
3. 3GMVEሄሳ ጊሻስ ኢንቴ ሁኤስ ናጌቲቴ። ‹ኔ ኢሻይ ኔና ቆሂኮ ሃንቄታ፤ ኢዚ ባ ሞሮ ኤሪዲ ሲሚኮ ማራ።›BSBBSB: Watch yourselves. If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.
4. 4GMVEኢሲ ጋላሳን ላፑንቶ ዛሪ ዛሪ ቆሂዲ ላፑንቶካ ዛሪ ዛሪ፥ ‹ማራ› ጊኮ ማራ» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: Even if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times returns to say, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive him.”
5. 5GMVEሃዋሬቲካ፥ «ጎዶ! ኑስ ኣማኖ ጉጃ» ጊዳ።BSBBSB: The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!”
6. 6GMVEጎዳይካ፥ «ጋሼ ኣይፌ ላጌ ኣማኖይ ኢንቴስ ዲኮ ሃይሳ፥ ‹ኤꬃ ꬎቃሌታ ባዳ ኣባን ጌላ ቶኬታ› ኢንቴ ጊኮ ኢዚ ኢንቴስ ኣዛዜታና» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: And the Lord answered, “If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.
7. 7GMVEቃሴካ ዬሱሲ፥ «ኢንቴ ጊዶፌ ኢሲ ኣሳስ ጎሻንቻይ ዎይኮ ዶርስ ሄሚዛ ኣሽካራይ ዲኮ ኢዚ ጎሻሶፔ ሲሚሺን፥ ‹ታስ ማና ካዎ ጊጊሳ፤ ታ ማዳ ኡያና ጋካናስ ጊጼታዳ ታስ ኦꬃ፤ ሄሳፌ ጉዬ ማንዳሳኔ ኡያንዳሳ› ጌስ ኣቲን ሃኢ ቁማ ማና ሃ ኣꬋ ጊዜ?BSBBSB: Which of you whose servant comes in from plowing or shepherding in the field will say to him, ‘Come at once and sit down to eat’?
8. 9GMVEሂስቲኮ ሄ ኣሽካራ ጎዳይ ኢዚ ኢዛ ኣዛዞ ፖሊዳ ጊሻስ ኢዛ ጋላቲ ኤሪዜ?BSBBSB: Does he thank the servant because he did what he was told?
9. 10GMVEሄሳ ጊሻስ ኢንቴኒካ ኢንቴ ኣዛዜቲዳይሳ ዉርሲ ፖሊዳ ዎዴ፥ ‹ኑኒ ጎኣይ ባይንዳ ኦሳንቻታ ኑስ ኦꬃናስ ቤሲዛይሳ ፖሊ ኦꬂዶስ› ጊቴ» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: So you also, when you have done everything commanded of you, should say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty.’”
10. 11GMVEሄሳፌ ጉዬ ዬሱሲ ዬሩሳላሜ ቢሼ ሳማሪያራኔ ጋሊላ ኣቻራ ኣꬊዴስ።BSBBSB: While Jesus was on His way to Jerusalem, He was passing between Samaria and Galilee.

13. 14GMVEኢዚካ ኢስታ ቤኢዲ፥ «ቢቴ! ኢንቴና ቄሴታስ ቤሲቴ» ጊዴስ፤ ኢስቲካ ቡሮ ቢሼ ኦጌ ቦላ ፓጺዳ።BSBBSB: When Jesus saw them, He said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And as they were on their way, they were cleansed.
14. 15GMVEኢስታፌ ኢሶይ ባ ፓጺዳይሳ ቤኢዲ ባ ቃላ ꬎቁ ሂስቲዲ ጾሳ ቦንቺሼ ሲሚዴስ።BSBBSB: When one of them saw that he was healed, he came back, praising God in a loud voice.
15. 16GMVEኢዛዴይካ ዬሱሳ ቶሆ ቦላ ኩንዲዲ ጋላቲዴስ፤ ኢዚካ ሳማሪያ ቢታ ኣሳ።BSBBSB: He fell facedown at Jesus’ feet in thanksgiving to Him—and he was a Samaritan.
16. 17GMVEዬሱሲካ ኣዴዛ፥ «ፓጺዳይቲ ታሙ ኣስ ዴቴኔ? ሂስቲን ኡዱፉናቲ ኣዋ ቢዶ?BSBBSB: “Were not all ten cleansed?” Jesus asked. “Where then are the other nine?
17. 18GMVEሃይሳ ዱማ ዴሬ ኣዴዛፔ ኣቲን ጾሳ ጋላቲዛይ ባ ጉሴ?» ጊዲ ኦይቺዴስ።BSBBSB: Was no one found except this foreigner to return and give glory to God?”
18. 19GMVEኣዴዛካ ዛሪዲ «ዴንዳዳ ባ! ኔና ኔ ኣማኖይ ፓꬂዴስ» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: Then Jesus said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well!”
19. 20GMVE«ጾሳ ካዎቴꬂ ኣይዴ ያኔ?» ጊዲ ፋርሳዌቲ ዬሱሳ ኦይቺዳ ዎዴ ዬሱሲ፥ «ጾሳ ካዎቴꬂ ቤቲዛ ማላታታን ዩኩ።BSBBSB: When asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The kingdom of God will not come with observable signs.
20. 21GMVEኣሳይ ጾሳ ካዎቴꬂ ሃን ዳዉስ ዎይኮ ሄን ዳዉስ ጋናስ ዳንዳዬቴና፤ ጾሳ ካዎቴꬂ ኢንቴ ጊዶን ዳዉስ» ጊዲ ዛሪዴስ።BSBBSB: Nor will people say, ‘Look, here it is,’ or ‘There it is.’ For you see, the kingdom of God is in your midst.”
21. 22GMVEባና ካሊዛይታስካ፥ «ኣሳ ና ጋላሳታፔ ኢሲ ጋላሳዮ ቤያናስ ኢንቴ ኣሞታና ዎዴይ ያና፤ ጊዶ ኣቲን ኢንቴ ቤዬኬታ።BSBBSB: Then He said to the disciples, “The time is coming when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, but you will not see it.
22. 23GMVEኣሳይ ኢንቴስ፥ ‹ሃን ዳዉስ› ዎይኮ፥ ‹ሄን ዳዉስ› ጋና ሺን ኢንቴ ኢስታ ካሊዲ ቦፒቴ።BSBBSB: People will tell you, ‘Look, there He is!’ or ‘Look, here He is!’ Do not go out or chase after them.
23. 24GMVEጋሶይካ ዎልቃንꬂ ዎልቃሚዲ ሃ ጋጻፔ ሄ ጋጻ ጋካናስ ፖኢሲዛ ማላ ኣሳ ናይ ዪዛ ጋላስ ኢዛ ማላ ሃናና።BSBBSB: For just as the lightning flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other, so will be the Son of Man in His day.
24. 25GMVEጊዶ ኣቲን ሃይሲ ዉሪ ሃናናፔ ኮይሮ ኣሳ ናይ ዳሮ ሜቶ ኤካናሲኔ ሃይሳ ሃ ዬሌታን ካꬌታናስ ቤሴስ።BSBBSB: But first He must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.
25. 26GMVE«ኖሄ ዎዴ ሃኒዳይሳ ማላ ኣሳ ና ዎዴንካ ሄሳꬆ ሃናና።BSBBSB: Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man:
26. 27GMVEኖሄይ ማርካቤን ጌላና ጋላስ ጋካናስ ኣሳይ ሚሺኒኔ ኡዪሺን፥ ኤኪሺኒኔ ጌሊሺን ꬋይሲዛ ሃꬂ ዪዲ ዉርሲካ ꬋይሲዴስ።BSBBSB: People were eating and drinking, marrying and being given in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.
27. 28GMVE«ሎጼ ዎዴካ ኢዛ ማላ ሃኒዴስ፤ ኣሳይ ሜሲኔ ኡዬስ፤ ባይዜሲኔ ሻሜስ፤ ቶኪዛዝ ቶኬስ፤ ኬꬂካ ኬጼስ።BSBBSB: It was the same in the days of Lot: People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building.
28. 29GMVEጊዶ ኣቲን ሎጼይ ሶዶሜፔ ኬዚዳ ጋላስ ሹቺኔ ሚꬅ ቆሮንታ ዲኔ ታማይ ሳሎፔ ቡኪዲ ኡባ ꬋይሲዴስ።BSBBSB: But on the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all.
29. 30GMVE«ኣሳ ናይ ቆንጪዛ ጋላስ ሄሳꬆ ሃናና።BSBBSB: It will be just like that on the day the Son of Man is revealed.
30. 31GMVEሄ ዎዴ ባ ኬꬃ ቦላ ዲዛዴይ ኦኒካ ኬꬃ ጊዶን ዲዛ ሚሽ ኤካና ጊዲ ዱጌ ዎꬎፎ፤ ሄሳꬆካ ጎሻ ሶን ዲዛ ኣሲ ጉዬ ሶ ሲሞፎ።BSBBSB: On that day, let no one on the housetop come down to retrieve his possessions. Likewise, let no one in the field return for anything he has left behind.
31. 32GMVEሎጼ ማቾ ቆፒቴ።BSBBSB: Remember Lot’s wife!
32. 33GMVEባ ዴኦ ጋምኢሳና ኮይዛይ ዉሪ ꬋይሳና፤ ባ ሼምፖ ኣꬂ ኢሚዛዴይ ጋምኢሳና።BSBBSB: Whoever tries to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life will preserve it.
33. 34GMVEታ ኢንቴስ ጊዛይ ሄ ዎዴ ኦማርስ ናምኡ ኣሲ ኢሲ ሂጻን ኢቻና፤ ኢሶይ ኤኬታና፤ ኢሶይ ኣታና።BSBBSB: I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed: one will be taken and the other left.
34. 35GMVEናምኡ ማጫሳቲ ኢሲፌ ጋጪሺን ኢሲኔያ ኤኬታና፤ ሃንኮራ ኣታና።BSBBSB: Two women will be grinding grain together: one will be taken and the other left.”
