1. 1GMVEዬሱሲ ባና ካሊዛይታስ፥ «ኢሲ ዱሬ ኣዴ ዳይሳስ ኢዛ ኬꬃ ኣይሲዛ ኢሲ ኣሲ ዴስ፤ ኢዚ ሄ ዱሬ ኣዴዛ ሚሻ ኦጌይ ባይንዳ ላሊዛይሳ ዎሬይ ዱሬ ኣዴዛ ሃይꬃን ዎꬊዴስ።BSBBSB: Jesus also said to His disciples, “There was a rich man whose manager was accused of wasting his possessions.
2. 2GMVEዱሬ ኣዴዚ ሄ ኣዴዛ ጼይጊዲ፥ ‹ሃይሶ ታ ሲዪዛይሲ ሄሲ ኣዜ? ሃይሳፌ ዶማዳ ኔ ታ ኬꬃ ኣይሲዛዴ ጊዳናስ ዳንዳዮንታ ጊሻስ ኔ ኣላፌቴꬃን ዲዛ ሚሻ ኦይኪዳ ማዝጋባ ታስ ዛራ› ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: So he called him in to ask, ‘What is this I hear about you? Turn in an account of your management, for you cannot be manager any longer.’
3. 3GMVE«ኬꬃ ኣይሲዛ ኣዴዚ ባ ዎዚናራ፥ ‹ታ ጎዳይ ታና ታ ኣላፌቴꬃፌ ጎዳና ጌስ፤ ጎያ ማናስ ታስ ዎልቃይ ባ፤ ዎሳናስ ዬላታይስ፤ ሄሳ ጊሻስ ኣይ ኦꬆ?› ጊዲ፥BSBBSB: The manager said to himself, ‘What shall I do, now that my master is taking away my position? I am too weak to dig and too ashamed to beg.
4. 4GMVEታኒ ኣላፌቴꬃፌ ኬዚኮ ኣሳይ ታና ሞኪ ኤካና ማላ ኦꬃና ኦጌ ታ ኤራይስ።BSBBSB: I know what I will do so that after my removal from management, people will welcome me into their homes.’
5. 5GMVE«ሄሳ ጊሻስ ኢዛ ጎዳ ኣጮይ ኢስታ ቦላ ዲዛ ኣሳታ ኢሳ ኢሳ ጼይጊዴስ። ኮይሮ ዪዳይሳ፥ ‹ኔ ቦላ ጎዳ ኣጮይ ኣፑኔ?› ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: And he called in each one of his master’s debtors. ‘How much do you owe my master?’ he asked the first.
6. 6GMVE« ‹ኢሲ ጼቱ ጻሮ ኩሜꬃ ዛይቴይ ታ ቦላ ዴስ› ጊዴስ፤ ኣላፌዚ ዛሪዲ ካሴ ኔ ፋራሚዳ ዋራቃታ ሄይ ኤካ ኡታዳ ኤሌ ኢቻሹ ታሙ ጻሮ ጋዳ ጻፋ ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: ‘A hundred measures of olive oil,’ he answered. ‘Take your bill,’ said the manager, ‘sit down quickly, and write fifty.’
7. 7GMVE«ካሊዲ ሃንኮይሳ፥ ‹ኔች፥ ኔ ቦላ ኣፑኒ ዲዜ?› ጊዴስ። ‹ጼቱ ኦጎሮ ጊስቴይ ዴስ› ጊዴስ፤ ኣላፌዚ ዛሪዲ፥ ‹ካሴ ኔ ታልኣሼ ፋራሚዳ ዋራቃታ ሄይ ኦስፑን ታሙ ኦጎሮ ጋዳ ጻፋ› ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: Then he asked another, ‘And how much do you owe?’ ‘A hundred measures of wheat,’ he replied. ‘Take your bill and write eighty,’ he told him.
8. 8GMVE«ጎዳዚካ ሾጬቺዛ ኣላፌዚ ኦꬂዳ ጪንጫቴꬃ ጊሻስ ኢዛ ናሺዴስ፤ ሃይሳ ሃ ኣላሜዛ ናይቲ ባና ሚሳቲዛይታራ ዲዛ ጋጎቴꬃን ፖኦ ናይታፔ ኣꬊዳ ጪንጫታ።BSBBSB: The master commended the dishonest manager because he had acted shrewdly. For the sons of this age are more shrewd in dealing with their own kind than are the sons of light.
9. 9GMVE«ሄሳ ጊሻስ ታኒ ኢንቴና ጊዛይ ሃ ቢታ ሚሻይ ዉሪዳ ዎዴ ሜርና ኬꬃን ኢንቴ ኤኬታና ማላ ሃኢ ኢንቴስ ዲዛ ሚሻራ ኢንቴስ ላጌ ሜꬊቴ ጋይስ።BSBBSB: I tell you, use worldly wealth to make friends for yourselves so that when it is gone, they will welcome you into eternal dwellings.
10. 10GMVEጉꬃ ሚሻን ኣማኔቲዛዴይ ዳሮ ሚሻንካ ኣማኔታና፤ ጉꬃ ሚሻን ኣማኔቶንታዴይ ዳሮ ሚሻንካ ኣማኔቴና።BSBBSB: Whoever is faithful with very little will also be faithful with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.
11. 11GMVEሂስቲኮ ኢንቴ ሃ ቢታ ሚሻን ኣማኔቶንታ ኢጺኮ ቱማ ሚሻ ሃዳራ ኦይኪቴ ጊዲ ኦኒ ኢንቴስ ኢማኔ?BSBBSB: So if you have not been faithful with worldly wealth, who will entrust you with true riches?
12. 12GMVEኣሳ ሚሻን ኢንቴ ኣማኔቶንታ ኢጺኮ ኢንቴስ ቡዞ ጊዳና ሚሽ ኦኒ ኢማኔ?BSBBSB: And if you have not been faithful with the belongings of another, who will give you belongings of your own?
13. 13GMVE«ናምኡ ጎዳስ ኢሲቶ ኣዛዜታና ዳንዳይዛዴይ ኦኒካ ዴና፤ ዎይኮ ኢሳ ዶሲዲ ኢሳ ኢጼስ ዎይኮ ኢሳኮ ሺቂዲ ሃንኮይሳ ሌቄስ፤ ጾሳሲኔ ሚሻስ ኢሲፌ ጋꬂ ሃሬታናስ ዳንዳዬኬታ» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: No servant can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.”
14. 14GMVEሚሽ ዳርሲ ሲቂዛ ፋርሳዌቲ ሄሳ ኡባ ሲዪዲ ዬሱሳ ቂꬊዳ።BSBBSB: The Pharisees, who were lovers of money, heard all of this and were scoffing at Jesus.
15. 15GMVEዬሱሲካ ኢስታስ፥ «ኢንቴ ኢንቴና ኣሳ ኣቻን ጺሊሴታ፤ ጊዶ ኣቲን ጾሲ ኢንቴ ዎዚና ኤሬስ፤ ኣሳ ኣቻን ቦንቼቲዳዴይ ጾሳ ሲንꬃን ቱና» ጊዲ ዮቲዴስ።BSBBSB: So He said to them, “You are the ones who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is prized among men is detestable before God.
16. 16GMVE«ሙሴ ዎጋይኔ ናቤቲ ዮሃኒሲ ያና ጋካናስ ዮቲሼ ጋምኢዳ። ሄሳ ካሊዲ ቃሴ ጾሳ ካዎቴꬃ ሚሺራቾ ቃላይ ሳባኬቲዴስ። ኣሲ ዉሪካ ሄ ጌላናስ ዋꬌቴስ።BSBBSB: The Law and the Prophets were proclaimed until John. Since that time, the gospel of the kingdom of God is being preached, and everyone is forcing his way into it.
17. 17GMVEጊዶ ኣቲን ሙሴ ዎጋፔ ኢሲ ቄሪና ኩንዳ ኣታናይሳፌ ሳሎይኔ ሳኣይ ኣꬋናይሲ ካዉሼ ጊዳና።BSBBSB: But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for a single stroke of a pen to drop out of the Law.
18. 18GMVE«ባ ማቾ ኣንጂ ዬዲዲ ሃራ ማጫ ኤኪዛ ኣሲ ዉሪካ ላይማቴስ፤ ባ ኣዚናፔ ኣንጄታ ቢዳሮ ኤኪዳይሲካ ላይማቴስ።BSBBSB: Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery, and he who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.
19. 19GMVE«ቃሴካ ዬሱሲ ኢስታስ፥ ‹ሎኦ ማይኦ ማይኢዲ ጋላስ ጋላስ ሎኦ ዱሳ ኡፋይሳን ዲዛ ኢሲ ዱሬ ኣሲ ዴስ› ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: Now there was a rich man dressed in purple and fine linen, who lived each day in joyous splendor.
20. 20GMVEሄ ኣዴዛ ፔንጌን ኩሜꬃ ቦላይ ማዱንꬅ ጻላ ጊዲዳ ኢሲ ኣላዛሬ ጌቴቲዛ ማንቆ ኣዴ ዲዛይሲ ኢቺ ዴስ።BSBBSB: And a beggar named Lazarus lay at his gate, covered with sores
21. 21GMVEኢዚካ ሄ ዱሬ ኣዴዛ ኬꬃን ኣሳይ ካꬅ ሚሺን ማዳፌ ጋዴን ዎꬊዛ ሱፓ ማጺ ማናስ ኣሞቴስ፤ ካናቲካ ኢዛ ማዱንꬃ ላጬቴስ።BSBBSB: and longing to be fed with the crumbs that fell from the rich man’s table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores.
22. 22GMVE«ሄ ማንቆ ኣዴዚ ሃይቂን ሳሎ ኪታንቻቲ ኣብራሃሜ ኪኦ ኤኪ ቢዳ፤ ቃሴ ዱሬ ኣዴዚካ ሃይቂዲ ሞጌቲዴስ።BSBBSB: One day the beggar died and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s side. And the rich man also died and was buried.
23. 23GMVEኢዚ ሲኦሌን ዋዬቲሼ ꬎቁ ጊዲ ሃሆን ኣብራሃሜ ጼሊዴስ፤ ኣላዛሬካ ባ ኪኦን ኦይኪ ዲሺን ቤዪዴስ።BSBBSB: In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham from afar, with Lazarus by his side.
24. 24GMVE«ዱሬ ኣዴዚ፥ ‹ኣዋ ኣብራሃሜ! ሃይሳን ዋዬቲዛ ታስ ሚሼታርኪ! ጊ ኣላዛሬይ ባ ቢራꬌ ጼራ ኢርጻ ሃꬃን ቦቺዲ ታ ኢንጻርስ ኢርጺሳና ማላ ሃ ዬዳርኪ!› ጊ ዋሲዴስ።BSBBSB: So he cried out, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue. For I am in agony in this fire.’
25. 25GMVE«ጊዶ ኣቲን ኣብራሃሜይ፥ ‹ታ ናዞ ኔኒ ቢታ ቦላ ዳሼ ሎኦ ዱስ ዴኢዳይሳ ማላ ኣላዛሬይ ካሴ ዋዬ ቤኢዳይሳ ኔ ቆፓ፤ ጊዶ ኣቲን ሃኢ ኢዚ ኡፋዬቲሺን ኔኒ ዋዬታሳ።BSBBSB: But Abraham answered, ‘Child, remember that during your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things. But now he is comforted here, while you are in agony.
26. 26GMVEሄሲ ዉሪ ሃኒሺን ሃን ዲዛ ኣሲ ሃፔ ሄ ኢንቴኮ ኣꬎንታ ማላ ቃሴካ ኢንቴኮን ዲዛይ ሃ ኑኮ ኣꬋና ኮይዛዴይ ሃ ኣꬎንታ ማላ ኢንቴሲኔ ኑስ ጊዶን ጊታ ኣፎይ ጊጌቲዴስ› ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: And besides all this, a great chasm has been fixed between us and you, so that even those who wish cannot cross from here to you, nor can anyone cross from there to us.’
27. 27GMVE«ዱሬ ኣዴዚ ቃሴ፥ ‹ኣቦ! ሄሲ ሄሳ ጊዲኮ ኔኒ ኣላዛሬ ዱጌ ታ ኣዋ ሶ ዬዳና ማላ ታ ኔና ዎሳይስ፤ ታስ ኢቻሹ ኢሻቲ ዴቴስ፤ ሃይቲ ሃ ዋዬሶ ዮንታ ማላ ቢዲ ኢስታስ ሎኤꬂ ዮታና ማላ ኣላዛሬ ዬዳርኪ!› ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: ‘Then I beg you, father,’ he said, ‘send Lazarus to my father’s house,
28. 29GMVE«ኣብራሃሜይ ኢዛስ ዛሪዲ፥ ‹ሙሴይኔ ናቤቲ ሄን ኢስታ ኣቻን ዲዛ ጊሻስ ኢስታፌ ሲዬቶ› ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: But Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let your brothers listen to them.’
29. 30GMVE«ኢዚካ ዛሪዲ፥ ‹ኣዋ ኣብራሃሜ፥ ሄሳ ማላ ጊዴና፤ ሃይቂዳ ኣሳፔ ኢሳዴይ ሃይቆፔ ዴንዲ ቢኮ ኢስቲ ጾሳ ማሮቴꬃን ጌላና› ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: ‘No, father Abraham,’ he said, ‘but if someone is sent to them from the dead, they will repent.’
30. 31GMVE«ኣብራሃሜይካ ዛሪዲ፥ ‹ሙሴይኔ ናቤቲ ጊዛይሳ ሲዮንታ ኢጺኮ ሃይቂዳ ኣሳፔ ኢሳዴይ ዴንዲዳኮካ ኢስቲ ኣማኔቴና› » ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: Then Abraham said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be persuaded even if someone rises from the dead.’”
