1. 1GMVEኢስቲ ጌዴ ዬሩሳላሜን ዳብራዛይቴ ጌቴቲዛ ዙማ ኣቻን ዲዛ ቤቴፋጌኔ ቢታኒያ ጌቴቲዛሶ ማቲዳ ዎዴ ዬሱሲ ባና ካሊዛይታፔ ናምኣታ፥BSBBSB: As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage and Bethany at the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent out two of His disciples
2. 2GMVE«ጌዴ ኢንቴ ሲንꬃን ዲዛ ጉታዮ ቢቴ። ኢንቴ ሄ ጌሊዳ ማላ ሄን ኣሲ ቶጊ ኤሮንታ ቃሾን ዲዛ ሃሬ ጉቴ ኢንቴ ዴማና፤ ቢርሺዲ ኢዛ ሃ ኤኪ ዪቴ።BSBBSB: and said to them, “Go into the village ahead of you, and as soon as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, on which no one has ever sat. Untie it and bring it here.
3. 3GMVEኦኒካ ኢንቴና፥ ‹ሃይሳ ኣይስ ኦꬄቲ?› ጊኮ ጎዳስ ኮሼስ ጊዲ ዮቲቴ፤ ኢዚካ ኢንቴስ ኤሶን ዛሪ ዬዳና» ጊ ኪቲዴስ።BSBBSB: If anyone asks, ‘Why are you doing this?’ tell him, ‘The Lord needs it and will return it shortly.’”
4. 4GMVEኢስቲካ ቢዲ ኢሲ ኬꬃ ካሬን ኦጌ ቦላ ቃሼቲ ዲዛ ሃሬ ጉቴ ዴሚዲ ቢርሺዳ።BSBBSB: So they went and found the colt outside in the street, tied at a doorway. They untied it,
5. 5GMVEሄን ኤቂዳ ኢሲ ኢሲ ኣሳቲ፥ «ሃሬ ጉቴዛ ኣዛስ ቢርሼቲ?» ጊ ኦይቺዳ።BSBBSB: and some who were standing there asked, “Why are you untying the colt?”
6. 6GMVEዬሱሳ ካሊዛይቲ ዬሱሲ ኢስታስ ጊዳ ማላ ኣሳታስ ዮቲን ኤሮ ኤኪ ቢቴ ጊዳ።BSBBSB: The disciples answered as Jesus had instructed them, and the people gave them permission.
7. 7GMVEጉቴዛካ ዬሱሳኮ ኤሂዲ ባ ማይኦ ኢዛ ዞኮ ቦላ ዬጊን ዬሱሲ ኢዛ ቶጊዴስ።BSBBSB: Then they led the colt to Jesus and threw their cloaks over it, and He sat on it.
8. 8GMVEዳሮ ኣሳይ ባ ማይኦ ኬሲ ኬሲ ኦጌ ቦላ ሚጪዴስ። ባጋ ኣሳይ ጪሊላ ሚꬃ ሃይꬅ ቃንጺ ቃንጺዲ ኦጌ ቦላ ላሊዴስ።BSBBSB: Many in the crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others spread branches they had cut from the fields.
9. 9GMVEዬሱሳፔ ሲንꬃራኔ ጉዬራ ዲዛ ኣሳይ ቃላ ꬎቁ ሂስቲዲ፥ «ሆሳኢና፤ ጎዳ ሱንꬃን ዪዛዴይ ኣንጄቲዳዴ።BSBBSB: The ones who went ahead and those who followed were shouting: “Hosanna!” “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!”
10. 10GMVEሃና ዪዛራ ኑ ኣዋ ዳዊቴ ካዎቴꬃያ ኣንጄቲዳሮ፤ ሆሳኢና! ቦላ ሳሎን ጾሲ ቦንቼቶ» ጊሼ ዋሲዴስ።BSBBSB: “Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David!” “Hosanna in the highest!”
11. 11GMVEዬሱሲ ዬሩሳላሜ ጋኪዲ ሄሳፌካ ጾሳ ኬꬄ ጌሊዴስ። ሄ ሄራን ዲዛይሳ ኡባ ጼሊዲ ጋዴይ ቃሚዳ ጊሻስ ታማኔ ናምኣታራ ጌዴ ቢታኒያ ኬዚዴስ።BSBBSB: Then Jesus entered Jerusalem and went into the temple courts. He looked around at everything, but since it was already late, He went out to Bethany with the Twelve.
12. 12GMVEዎንቴꬃ ጋላስ ኢስቲ ቢታኒያፔ ኬዚ ቢሺን ዬሱሲ ጋፊዴስ።BSBBSB: The next day, when they had left Bethany, Jesus was hungry.
13. 13GMVEኢዚ ኢሲ ሃይꬂ ጪሊሊዳ ባላሴ ጌቴቲዛ ሚꬂ ሃሆን ቤኢዲ ኣይፌይ ዳናኮን ጊዲ ኢዚኮ ዪዴስ። ጊዶ ኣቲን ባላሴ ሚꬂ ኣይፎንታ ዎዴ ጊዲዳ ጊሻስ ሃይꬃፌ ኣቲን ኢሲ ኣይፌካ ኢዚፔ ዴሚቤና።BSBBSB: Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, He went to see if there was any fruit on it. But when He reached it, He found nothing on it except leaves, since it was not the season for figs.
14. 14GMVEሄሳ ጊሻስ ሚꬃዮ፥ «ሃኒፌ ጉዬ ሜርናስ ኦኒካ ኔፔ ኣይፌ ሞፖ!» ጊዴስ። ኢዛ ካሊዛይቲካ ኢዚ ጊዛይሳ ሲዪዳ።BSBBSB: Then He said to the tree, “May no one ever eat of your fruit again.” And His disciples heard this statement.
15. 15GMVEጌዴ ዬሩሳላሜ ቢዳ፤ ሄፔካ ጾሳ ኬꬄ ጌሊዲ ሄን ባይዚዛይታኔ ሻሚዛይታ ኬሲ ጎዶ ኦይኪዴስ። ሚሼ ላሚዛይታ ጻራጴዛኔ ሃራጴ ባይዚዛይታ ኦይዴ ጉፋንꬂ ጉፋንꬂ ዬጊዴስ።BSBBSB: When they arrived in Jerusalem, Jesus entered the temple courts and began to drive out those who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those selling doves.
16. 16GMVEኦኒካ ኣይ ሚሽ ቶኪዲ ጾሳ ኬꬃ ጊቤ ጊዶራ ኣꬎንታ ማላ ዲጊዴስ።BSBBSB: And He would not allow anyone to carry merchandise through the temple courts.
17. 17GMVEኢስታካ ታማርሲሼ፥ «ታ ኬꬂ ዴሬ ኡባስ ዎሳ ኬꬄ ጊዳና ጌቴቲ ጻፌቲቤኔ? ጊዶ ኣቲን ኢንቴ ካይሶታ ጎንጎሎ ኬሲዴታ» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: Then Jesus began to teach them, and He declared, “Is it not written: ‘My house will be called a house of prayer for all the nations’? But you have made it ‘a den of robbers.’”
18. 18GMVEቄሴታ ሃላቃቲኔ ሙሴ ዎጋ ታማርሲዛይቲ ሄሳ ሲዪዲ ኢዛ ዎስቲ ꬋይሳናኮን ኦጌ ኮሽ ኦይኪዳ። ጊዶ ኣቲን ዴሬይካ ኢዛ ቲሚርቴዛን ማላሌቲዳ ጊሻስ ኢዛስ ባቢዳ።BSBBSB: When the chief priests and scribes heard this, they looked for a way to kill Him. For they were afraid of Him, because the whole crowd was astonished at His teaching.
19. 19GMVEኢስቲካ ጋዴይ ቃሚን ካታማይፔ ኬዚ ቢዳ።BSBBSB: And when evening came, Jesus and His disciples went out of the city.
20. 20GMVEዎንቴꬃ ጋላስ ማላዶ ኢስቲ ኦጌራ ኣꬊ ቢሺን ባላሴ ሚꬃያ ጻጶፔ ሜሊዳሮ ቤኢዳ።BSBBSB: As they were walking back in the morning, they saw the fig tree withered from its roots.
21. 21GMVEዮኦዚ ኢዛ ዎዚናን ኣኬኬቲን ጴጽሮሲ ዬሱሳ፥ «ኣስታማሬ! ሄኮ፥ ሃና ኔ ቃንጊዳ ባላሴያ ሜላዱስ» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: Peter remembered it and said, “Look, Rabbi! The fig tree You cursed has withered.”
22. 22GMVEኢዚካ ዛሪዲ፥ «ጾሳ ኣማኒቴ።BSBBSB: “Have faith in God,” Jesus said to them.
23. 23GMVEታ ኢንቴስ ቱሙ ጋይስ፤ ‹ኦኒካ ሃይሳ ዙማዛ ኔ ꬎቃሌታዳ ኣባን ጌላ› ጊዛኮ ሄሳካ ዎዚናን ሲꬎንታ ኣማኒዳኮ ኢዛዴስ ሃናና።BSBBSB: “Truly I tell you that if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and has no doubt in his heart but believes that it will happen, it will be done for him.
24. 24GMVEሄሳ ጊሻስ ኢንቴ ዎሳን ኦይቺዳዝ ኡባ ኤኪዳ ማላ ኣማኒኮ ኢንቴስ ሃናና።BSBBSB: Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
25. 25GMVEሄሳꬆካ ኢንቴ ዎሳስ ኤቂዛ ዎዴ ኢንቴ ሳሎ ኣዋይ ኢንቴ ናጋራ ኣቶ ጋና ማላ ኢንቴካ ኢንቴና ቆሂዳይታ ናጋራ ኡባ ኣቶ ጊቴ።BSBBSB: And when you stand to pray, if you hold anything against another, forgive it, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your trespasses as well.”
26. 26GMVEኢንቴ ኣቶ ጎንታ ኢጺኮ ኢንቴ ሳሎ ኣዋይካ ኢንቴ ናጋራ ኣቶ ጌና» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: Not in the BSB

27. 27GMVEቃሴካ ዬሩሳላሜ ዪዳ፤ ዬሱሲ ጾሳ ኬꬃ ካሬ ጊዶን ያኔ ሃ ዩዬቲሺን ቄሴታ ሃላቃቲ፥ ሙሴ ዎጋ ታማርሲዛይቲኔ ዴሬ ጪማቲ ኢዛኮ ሺቂዲ፥BSBBSB: After their return to Jerusalem, Jesus was walking in the temple courts, and the chief priests, scribes, and elders came up to Him.
28. 28GMVE«ሃይሳ ኔ ኦꬂዛይ ኣይ ጎዳቴꬃራ? ሃይታ ኔ ኦꬃና ማላ ሃይሳ ማላ ጎዳቴꬅ ኔስ ኦኒ ኢሚዴ?» ጊዳ።BSBBSB: “By what authority are You doing these things?” they asked. “And who gave You the authority to do them?”
29. 29GMVEዬሱሲካ ኢስታስ ዛሪዲ፥ «ኣኔ ታኒካ ኢንቴና ኢሲ ኦይሾ ኦይቻይስ፤ ኢንቴካ ታስ ዛሪኮ ታኒካ ሃ ዮኦታ ኣይ ጎዳቴꬃራ ኦꬂዛኮ ኢንቴስ ዮታና።BSBBSB: “I will ask you one question,” Jesus replied, “and if you answer Me, I will tell you by what authority I am doing these things.
30. 30GMVEዮሃኒሳ ጺንቃታይ ጾሳፌዬ? ኣሳፔ? ኣኔ ታስ ዛሪቴ» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: John’s baptism—was it from heaven or from men? Answer Me!”
31. 31GMVEኢስቲካ ባ ጊዶን ኢሶይ ኢሳራ፥ «ኑ ሳሎፔ ጊኮ ኢዚ ኑና፥ ‹ሂስቲን ኣዛስ ኢዛ ኣማኒቤኬቲ?› ጋና፤BSBBSB: They deliberated among themselves what they should answer: “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ He will ask, ‘Why then did you not believe him?’
32. 32GMVE‹ኑ ኣሳፔ› ጊኮ» ዮሃኒሲ ቱሙ ናቤ ጊዲዳይሳ ዴሬይ ዉሪ ኣማኒዛ ጊሻስ ሄሳꬆ ጋና ባቢዳ።BSBBSB: But if we say, ‘From men’...” they were afraid of the people, for they all held that John truly was a prophet.
33. 33GMVEሄሳ ጊሻስ፥ «ኑ ኤሮኮ» ጊዲ ዬሱሳስ ዛሪዳ። ዬሱሲካ፥ «ሂስቲኮ ታ ሃይታ ኣዛ ጎዳቴꬃራ ኦꬂዛኮ ታኒካ ኢንቴስ ዮቲኬ» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: So they answered, “We do not know.” And Jesus replied, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I am doing these things.”
