1ፓዚጋኔ ኡኬꬃ ሙሳ ባኣሌ ጋላሳይ ቦንቼታናስ ናምኡ ጋላሲ ኣቲሺን ቄሴታ ሃላቃቲኔ ሙሴ ዎጋ ታማርሲዛይቲ ዬሱሳ ባሌꬂ ኦይኪዲ ዎꬋና ኦጌ ኮዪዳ።Now the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread were two days away, and the chief priests and scribes were looking for a covert way to arrest Jesus and kill Him.

2ጊዶ ኣቲን፥ «ኣሳይ ሜቶ ሜꬎንታ ማላ ባኣሌ ጋላሳታን ጊዶፖ» ጊዳ።“But not during the feast,” they said, “or there may be a riot among the people.”

3ኢዚ ቢታኒያ ጌቴቲዛሶን ኢሲ ኢንቺራቻ ሃርጋንቻ ጊዲዳ ሲሞናሶን ቁማ ቦላ ዲሺን ዋጋይ ዳሮ ኣልኦ ጊዲዳ ናርዶሴ ጌቴቲዛ ሺቶይ ኩሚ ኡቲዳ ኣልባስጺሮሴ ቢልቃጼ ኦይኪዳ ኢሲ ማጫሳያ ቢልቃጼዛ ሜንꬃዳ ሺቶዛ ዬሱሳ ሁኤ ቦላ ጉሳዱስ።While Jesus was in Bethany reclining at the table in the home of Simon the Leper, a woman came with an alabaster jar of expensive perfume, made of pure nard. She broke open the jar and poured it on Jesus’ head.

4ሄን ዲዛ ኣሳታፔ ኢሲ ኢሲ ኣሳቲ፥ «ሃይሲ ሺቶዚ ኣዛስ ዎጋይ ባይንዳ ጉኪዜ?» ጊዲ ባ ጊዶን ሃንቄቲዳ።Some of those present, however, expressed their indignation to one another: “Why this waste of perfume?

5«ሺቶዚ ባይዜቲዳኮ ሄꬑ ጼቱ ዲናሬፔ ቦላራ ባይዜቲዲ ማንቆታስ ኢሜቴኔሺን!» ጊዲ ማጫሳዮካ ካꬊዳ።It could have been sold for over three hundred denarii and the money given to the poor.” And they scolded her.

6ጊዶ ኣቲን ዬሱሲ ኢስታስ፥ «ኣጊቴ! ሃኖ ማጫሳዮ ኣዛስ ዋዪሴቲ? ኢዛ ታስ ሎኦ ሚሽ ኦꬃዱስ።But Jesus said, “Leave her alone; why are you bothering her? She has done a beautiful deed to Me.

7ማንቆቲ ኣይ ዎዴካ ኢንቴናራ ዴቴስ። ኢንቴ ኮዪዳ ዎዴ ኣይዴካ ኢስታ ማዳናስ ዳንዳዬታ፤ ታ ጊዲኮ ኡባ ዎዴ ኢንቴናራ ዲኬ።The poor you will always have with you, and you can help them whenever you want. But you will not always have Me.

8ሃና ባ ኦꬃናስ ዳንዳይዛሪ ኬና ኦꬃዱስ። ታስ ሞጎስ ጊዳና ማላ ታ ኣሾ ካሴታ ቲያዱስ።She has done what she could to anoint My body in advance of My burial.

9ታ ኢንቴስ ቱሙ ጋይስ፤ ሃይሲ ሚሺራቾ ቃላይ ኣላሜ ኩሜꬃን ሳባኬቲዛሶን ኣዋንካ ኢዛ ኦꬂዳይሲ ኢዞ ሃሳኢሲዛዝ ጊዲዲ ሃሳዬታና» ጊዴስ።And truly I tell you, wherever the gospel is preached in all the world, what she has done will also be told in memory of her.”

10ሄሳፌ ጉዬ ታማኔ ናምኣታፔ ኢሶይ ኣስቆሮንቶ ዩሁዳይ ዬሱሳ ኣꬂ ኢማናስ ቄሴታ ሃላቃታኮ ቢዴስ።Then Judas Iscariot, one of the Twelve, went to the chief priests to betray Jesus to them.

11ኢስቲካ ሄሳ ሲዪዲ ኡፋዬቲዳ፤ ኢዛስ ሚሼ ኢማናስ ኢዛራ ጊጊዳ፤ ሄሳ ጊሻስ ዬሱሳ ኣꬂ ኢማናስ ኢንጄ ዎዴ ናጊሼ ጋምኢዴስ።They were delighted to hear this, and they promised to give him money. So Judas began to look for an opportunity to betray Jesus.

12ፓዚጋ ዶርሲ ሹኬቲዛ ኡኬꬅ ሙሳ ቦንቺዛ ኮይሮ ጋላስ ዬሱሳ ካሊዛይቲ ዬሱሳኮ ሺቂዲ፥ «ፓዚጋ ካዎ ማናሶ ኣዋን ጊጊሳና ማላ ኮያይ?» ጊ ኦይቺዳ።On the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, when the Passover lamb was to be sacrificed, Jesus’ disciples asked Him, “Where do You want us to prepare for You to eat the Passover?”

13ኢዚካ ባና ካሊዛይታፔ ናምኣታ፥ «ካታማ ቢቴ፤ ኢንቴ ቢሺን ሃꬄ ኦቶራ ቶኪዳ ኢሳዴይ ኢንቴናራ ጋጋና።So He sent two of His disciples and told them, “Go into the city, and a man carrying a jug of water will meet you. Follow him,

14ኢዚ ቢዲ ጌሊዛሶ ጋካናስ ኢዛ ካሊቴ። ኬꬃዴዛስ፥ ‹ኣስታማሬይ ኔና፥ ታና ካሊዛይታራ ፓዚጋ ካዎ ማናስ ታስ ጊዲዛ ኢማꬃ ሼምፖሶይ ኣዋይሴ? ጊዴስ› ጊቴ።and whichever house he enters, say to the owner, ‘The Teacher asks: Where is My guest room, where I may eat the Passover with My disciples?’

15ኢዚካ ቦላ ፖቄ ቦላ ዲዛ ጊጊ ኡቲዳ ኣሆሶ ኢንቴና ቤሳና፤ ሄን ኢዛን ጊግሲቴ» ጊ ኪቲዴስ።And he will show you a large upper room, furnished and ready. Make preparations for us there.”

16ኢዛ ካሊዛይቲካ ኬዚዲ ካታማ ቢዳ። ዉሪካ ዬሱሲ ጊዳ ማላ ሃኒ ቤቲዴስ፤ ፓዚጋካ ሄን ጊግሲዳ።So the disciples left and went into the city, where they found everything as Jesus had described. And they prepared the Passover.

17ጋዴይ ቃሚሺን ዬሱሲ ባና ካሊዛ ታማኔ ናምኣታራ ጋኪዴስ።When evening came, Jesus arrived with the Twelve.

18ኢስቲ ማዳን ዲሺን፥ «ታ ኢንቴስ ቱሙ ጋይስ፤ ኢንቴ ጊዶፌ ኢሶይ ኢዚካ ታናራ ኢሲፌ ሚዛይሲ ታና ኣꬂ ኢማና» ጊዴስ።And while they were reclining and eating, Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, one of you who is eating with Me will betray Me.”

19ኢስቲካ ሙዞቲዲ፥ «ታኔሻ? ታኔሻ?» ጊዲ ኢሶይ ኢሶይ ዬሱሳ ኦይቺዳ።They began to be grieved and to ask Him one after another, “Surely not I?”

20ኢዚካ ኢስታስ፥ «ታማኔ ናምኣታፔ ኢሶይ ታናራ ባ ኩሼ ኬሬን ዬዲዛዴ።He answered, “It is one of the Twelve—the one who is dipping his hand into the bowl with Me.

21ካሴ ጻፌቲዳ ማላ ኣሳ ናይ ኢዛ ጊሻስ ሃይቃና ሺን ኣሳ ና ኣꬂ ኢሚዛዴስ ኣዬ ኣና! ሄሳዴይ ካሴ ዬሌቶንታ ኣቲዳኮ ኢዛስ ሎኦኮሺን!» ጊዴስ።The Son of Man will go just as it is written about Him, but woe to that man by whom He is betrayed! It would be better for him if he had not been born.”

22ኢስቲ ሚሺን ኡኬꬃ ኤኪ ኣንጂዲኔ ሜንꬂዲ ባና ካሊዛይታስ፥ «ሃይሳ ታ ኣሾ ሄኢቴ» ጊ ኢሚዴስ።While they were eating, Jesus took bread, spoke a blessing and broke it, and gave it to the disciples, saying, “Take it; this is My body.”

23ኡሻካ ዴንꬂ ጋላቲዲ ኢስታስ ኢሚን ኢስቲ ዉሪካ ኡዪዳ።Then He took the cup, gave thanks, and gave it to them, and they all drank from it.

24ቃሴ ዬሱሲ፥ «ሃይሲ ዳሮታ ጊሻስ ጉካና ታ ኦራꬃ ጫቆ ሱꬃ።He said to them, “This is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many.

25ታ ኢንቴስ ቱሙ ጋይስ፤ ኦራꬃ ዎይኔፔ ጊጊዳ ኡሻ ጾሳ ካዎቴꬃን ታ ኡያና ዎዴ ጋካናስ ናምኣንꬆ ሃይሳ ኡዪኬ» ጊዴስ።Truly I tell you, I will no longer drink of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it anew in the kingdom of God.”

26ሄሳፌ ጉዬ ዬꬃ ኢሲፌ ዬጺዲ ፑዴ ዳብራዛይቴ ዙማ ቦላ ኬዚዳ።And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

27ዬሱሲ፥ « ‹ታ ሄሚዛይሳ ሾጫና፤ ሄ ዎዴ ኢዛ ዶርሳቲ ላሌታና› ጌቴቲ ጻፌቲዳይሳ ማላ ኢንቴ ዉሪካ ታናን ꬉጴታና።Then Jesus said to them, “You will all fall away, for it is written: ‘I will strike the Shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.’

28ታ ዴንዲዳፔ ጉዬ ጊዲኮ ታ ኢንቴፌ ካሴታዳ ጋሊላ ባና» ጊዴስ።But after I have risen, I will go ahead of you into Galilee.”

29ጴጽሮሲካ፥ «ኣሳይ ዉሪ ꬉጴቲኮካ ታኒ ꬉጴቲኬ!» ጊዴስ።Peter declared, “Even if all fall away, I never will.”

30ዬሱሲካ፥ «ታ ኔስ ቱሙ ጋይስ፤ ሃች ኦማርስ ኩቶይ ናምኡቶ ዋሳና ጋካናስ ኔኒ ታና ሄꬑቶ ካዳና» ጊዴስ።“Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “this very night, before the rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three times.”

31ጴጽሮሲ ቃሴ፥ «ታ ኔናራ ሃይቂዛኮካ ሙሌካ ኔና ካዲኬ» ጊዲ ኬሂ ሚንꬂ ዮቲዴስ። ሃንኮይቲካ ዉሪ ኢዛይሳꬆ ጊዳ።But Peter kept insisting, “Even if I have to die with You, I will never deny You.” And all the others said the same thing.

32ሄሳፌ ጉዬ ጌቴሴማኔ ጌቴቲዛሶ ቢዳ፤ ዬሱሲካ ባና ካሊዛይታ፥ «ታኒ ዎሲሺን ኢንቴ ሃይሳን ጋምኢሺቴ» ጊዴስ።Then they came to a place called Gethsemane, and Jesus told His disciples, “Sit here while I pray.”

33ጴጽሮሳ፥ ያቆቤኔ ዮሃኒሳ ባናራ ኤኪ ቢዴስ። ኬሂ ቆፒዴሲኔ ሜቶቲዴስ።He took with Him Peter, James, and John, and began to be deeply troubled and distressed.

34ቃሴካ ኢስታስ፥ «ታ ሼምፖያ ዳሮ ሜቶታዱስ ኢንቴ ሃን ዲሺቴ። ꬊስኮንታ ናጊቴ» ጊዴስ።Then He said to them, “My soul is consumed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch.”

35ኢስታ ኣቻፌ ጉꬅ ሃኪ ቢ ቢታ ቦላ ጉፋኒዲ ሄ ሳቴያ ኢዛፔ ኣꬋና ማላ ዎሲዴስ።Going a little farther, He fell to the ground and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour would pass from Him.

36«ታ ኣዋዉ! ኔስ ዉሪ ዳንዳዬቴስ፤ ሃይሳ ዋዬ ጹኣ ታፔ ሃሳ። ጊዲኮካ ኔ ሼኔፔ ኣቲን ታ ሼኔይ ሃኖፖ» ጊዴስ።“Abba, Father,” He said, “all things are possible for You. Take this cup from Me. Yet not what I will, but what You will.”

37ኢዚ ሄፔ ሲሚ ዪሺን ኢዛ ካሊዛይቲ ꬊስኪዳይታ ቤኢዴስ። ጴጽሮሳካ፥ «ሲሞና ꬊስካዲ? ሃራይ ኣቶሺን ኢሲ ሳቴካ ሚናዳ ናጎይ ኔና ጾኒዴ?Then Jesus returned and found them sleeping. “Simon, are you asleep?” He asked. “Were you not able to keep watch for one hour?

38ኢንቴ ፓጬን ጌሎንታ ማላ ቤጊዲ ዎሲቴኔ ሚኒቴ። ኣያናይ ጊጌቲ ኡቲዴስ ሺን ኣሾይ ጊዲኮ ዳቡራንቻ» ጊዴስ።Watch and pray so that you will not enter into temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak.”

39ቃሴካ ቢዲ ኮይሮይሳꬆ ዎሲዴስ።Again He went away and prayed, saying the same thing.

40ኢዚ ናምኣንꬆ ሲሚ ዪሺን ኢስታ ኣይፌን ꬊስኮይ ዴጺን ꬊስኪዳይታ ዴሚዴስ ሺን ኢስቲ ኢዛስ ኣይ ዛራናኮን ኤሪቤቴና።And again Jesus returned and found them sleeping, for their eyes were heavy. And they did not know what to answer Him.

41ሄꬓንꬆ ዪዲ፥ «ሃኢካ ኢንቴ ኢቺዲ ሼምፔቲ? ሃኢ ጊዳና፤ ሳቴያካ ጋካዱስ፤ ሄኮ ኣሳ ናይ ናጋራንቻታ ኩሼን ኣꬊ ኢሜታና።When Jesus returned the third time, He said, “Are you still sleeping and resting? That is enough! The hour has come. Look, the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

42ኣኔ ኤቂቴ ቦስ፤ ታና ኣꬂ ኢማናዴይ ዪዴስ» ጊዴስ።Rise, let us go. See, My betrayer is approaching!”

43ዬሱሲ ቡሮ ሃሳያን ዲሺን ታማኔ ናምኣታፔ ኢሶይ ዩሁዳይ ዪዴስ። ኢዛራ ኢሲፌ ቄሴ ሃላቃታፔኔ ሙሴ ዎጋ ታማርሲዛይታፔ ኪቴቲዳ ዳሮ ኣሳይ ጊꬃ ማሻኔ ዱርቃ ኦይኪዲ ዪዴስ።While Jesus was still speaking, Judas, one of the Twelve, arrived, accompanied by a crowd armed with swords and clubs, sent from the chief priests, scribes, and elders.

44ኢዛ ኣꬂ ኢማና ዩሁዳይ ኢስታስ፥ «ኣሳ ጊዶፌ ታ ዬሪዛዴይ ኢዛ ጊዲዳ ጊሻስ ኦይኪዲ ሎኤꬂ ናጊ ኤፍቴ» ጊዲ ካሴቲ ማላታ ኢሚ ዎꬂዴስ።Now the betrayer had arranged a signal with them: “The One I kiss is the man; arrest Him and lead Him away securely.”

45ጋኪዳ ማላ ዩሁዳይ ዬሱሳኮ ሺቂዲ፥ «ኣስታማሬ!» ጊዲ ዬሪዴስ።Going directly to Jesus, he said, “Rabbi!” and kissed Him.

46ኣሳቲካ ዬሱሳ ኦይኪዳ።Then the men seized Jesus and arrested Him.

47ኢዛ ኣቻን ኤቂዳ ኢሶይ ማሻ ኮሆፔ ሾዲ ቄሴታ ሃላቃዛ ኣሽካራ ሃይꬅ ቃንጺዴስ።And one of the bystanders drew his sword and struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his ear.

48ዬሱሲካ ኢስታስ፥ «ፓንጋ ማላ ታና ኦይካና ማሻኔ ዱርቃ ኦይኪዲ ዬቲ?Jesus asked the crowd, “Have you come out with swords and clubs to arrest Me as you would an outlaw?

49ዎንቲን ዎንቲን ጾሳ ኬꬃን ታማርሳሼ ታ ኢንቴናራ ዲሺን ኦይኪቤኬታ ሺን ካሴ ጻፌቲዳይሲ ፖሌታና ማላ ሃይሲ ሃኒዴስ» ጊዴስ።Every day I was with you, teaching in the temple courts, and you did not arrest Me. But this has happened that the Scriptures would be fulfilled.”

50ሄ ዎዴ ኢዛ ካሊዛይቲ ዉሪ ኢዛ ዬጊ ኣጊ ቢዳ።Then everyone deserted Him and fled.

51ባ ካሎቴꬅ ቄሪ ናጻላን ካሚዳ ኢሲ ናይ ዬሱሳ ካሊሺን ኣሳይ ኢዛ ኦይኪን፥One young man who had been following Jesus was wearing a linen cloth around his body. They caught hold of him,

52ናዚ ናጻላ ዬጊዲ ካሎ ኪቺዴስ።but he pulled free of the linen cloth and ran away naked.

53ዬሱሳካ ጌዴ ቄሴታ ሃላቃኮ ኤፊዳ፤ ቄሴታ ሃላቃቲ፥ ዴሬ ጪማቲኔ ሙሴ ዎጋ ታማርሲዛይቲ ሄን ኢሲፌ ዉሪ ሺቂዳ።They led Jesus away to the high priest, and all the chief priests, elders, and scribes assembled.

54ጴጽሮሲካ ዬሱሳ ሃሆራ ካሊሼ ቄሴታ ሃላቃዛ ጊቤ ጋካናስ ቢዴስ። ኢዚ ሄን ኡቲዲ ሃራ ኣሳታራ ታማ ሆኢሺን፥Peter followed Him at a distance, right into the courtyard of the high priest. And he sat with the officers and warmed himself by the fire.

55ቄሴታ ሃላቃቲኔ ዴሬ ጪማቲ ዉሪ ዬሱሳ ዎꬋናስ ማርካታና ኣስ ኮዪዳ ሺን ዴማናስ ዳንዳይቤቴና።Now the chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin were seeking testimony against Jesus to put Him to death, but they did not find any.

56ዳሮቲ ኢዛ ቦላ ዎርዶራ ማርካቲኮካ ማርካታ ቃላይ ኦይኬቲቤና።For many bore false witness against Jesus, but their testimony was inconsistent.

57ኢሲ ኢሲ ማርካቲ ዴንዲዲ ዎርዶራ፥Then some men stood up and testified falsely against Him:

58«ሃይሲ ኣዴዚ፥ ‹ታ ኣሳ ኩሼን ኬጼቲዳ ጾሳ ኬꬃ ላላዳ ኣሳ ኩሼይ ቦቾንታዝ ሃራ ሄꬑ ጋላሳራ ታ ኬጻና› ጊሺን ኑ ሲዪዶስ» ጊ ማርካቲዳ።“We heard Him say, ‘I will destroy this man-made temple, and in three days I will build another that is made without hands.’”

59ጊዶ ኣቲን ኢስታ ማርካቴꬂ ኢሲ ቦላ ዎꬊቤና።But even their testimony was inconsistent.

60ቄሴታ ሃላቃይካ ኢስታ ሲንꬃን ኤቂዲ፥ «ሃይቲ ኔ ቦላ ማርካቲዛይሲ ኣዜ? ኔ ኣዛስ ዶና ዛሪኪ?» ጊዲ ዬሱሳ ኦይቺዴስ።So the high priest stood up before them and questioned Jesus, “Have You no answer? What are these men testifying against You?”

61ጊዶ ኣቲን ዬሱሲ ኢስታስ ኣይኮካ ዛሮንታ ጮኡ ጊዴስ፤ ቄሴታ ሃላቃይ ቃሴካ፥ «ኣንጄቲዳ ጾሳ ናይ ኪርስቶሲ ኔኔ?» ጊ ኦይቺዴስ።But Jesus remained silent and made no reply. Again the high priest questioned Him, “Are You the Christ, the Son of the Blessed One?”

62ዬሱሲካ ዛሪዲ፥ «ኤ፤ ታናኮ! ኣሳ ናይ ዎልቃማ ጾሳ ኡሻቻን ኡቲሺኒኔ ሳሎ ሻራራ ዪሺን ኢንቴ ኢዛ ቤያና» ጊዴስ።“I am,” said Jesus, “and you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power and coming with the clouds of heaven.”

63ቄሴታ ሃላቃይ ባ ማይኦ ዳኪዲ፥ «ኑስ ሃራ ኣዛ ማርካ ኮሺዜ?At this, the high priest tore his clothes and declared, “Why do we need any more witnesses?

64ኢዚ ጫሻ ቃላ ጾሳ ቦላ ሃሳይሺን ኢንቴ ሲዪዴታ፤ ሃኢች ኢንቴስ ኣይ ሚሳቲዜ?» ጊዴስ። ኢስቲካ፥ «ኢዛስ ሃይቆይ ቤሴስ» ጊዲ ዉሪካ ኢሲ ቃላን ፒርዲዳ።You have heard the blasphemy. What is your verdict?” And they all condemned Him as deserving of death.

65ሄ ዎዴ ኢሲ ኢሲ ኣሳቲ ኢዛ ቦላ ጩች ጩቲዳ፤ ኢዛ ኣይፌ ጎዚ ኦይኪዲ ኢጪሼ፥ «ኣኔ ቲንቢቴ ዮታ» ጊዳ። ባጋይቲ ቃሴ ሻጋላን ባቂሼ ኤፊዳ።Then some of them began to spit on Him. They blindfolded Him, struck Him with their fists, and said to Him, “Prophesy!” And the officers received Him with slaps in His face.

66ጴጽሮሲ ዱጌ ባጋራ ሄን ጊቤ ጊዶን ዲሺን ቄሴታ ሃላቃ ጋራዴታፔ ኢሲኒያ ያዱስ።While Peter was in the courtyard below, one of the servant girls of the high priest came down

67ጴጽሮሲ ታማ ሆኢሺን ቲሺ ሂስታ ጼላዳ፥ «ኔኒ ናዚሬቴ ዬሱሳራ ዳሳ ጊዲኪ?» ጋዱስ።and saw him warming himself there. She looked at Peter and said, “You also were with Jesus the Nazarene.”

68ኢዚ ቃሴ፥ «ኔ ጊዛይሳዴ ታ ኤሪኬ፤ ኔ ጊዛይሲ ታስ ጌሌና» ጊዲ ካዲዴስ። ሄሳፌ ጌዴ ፔንጌ ፖቂ ኤቂ ዲሺን ሄራካ ኩቶይ ዋሲዴስ።But he denied it. “I do not know or even understand what you are talking about,” he said. Then he went out to the gateway, and the rooster crowed.

69ሄ ጋራዴያ ኢዛ ቤኢዳ ማላ ሄን ኤቂዳ ኣሳታስ፥ «ሃይሲ ኣዴዚ ኢዛራ ዲዛ ኣሳታፔ ኢሳዴኮ!» ጋዳ ቃሴካ ሃሳያዱስ።There the servant girl saw him and again said to those standing nearby, “This man is one of them.”

70ኢዚ ቃሴካ ካዲዴስ። ጉꬃ ዎዴ ጋምኢሺን ሄን ኤቂዳ ኣሳቲ ጴጽሮሳ፥ «ኔኒ ጋሊላ ኣሳ፥ ሄሳ ጊሻስ ቱማፔ ኔ ኢስታፌ ኢሳዴ» ጊዳ።But he denied it again. After a little while, those standing nearby said once more to Peter, “Surely you are one of them, for you too are a Galilean.”

71ጊዶ ኣቲን ኢዚ ቃሴ፥ «ኢንቴ ጊዛዴ ታ ኤሪኬ!» ጊሼ ጫቆኔ ባና ቃንጌꬅ ኦይኪዴስ።But he began to curse and swear, “I do not know this man of whom you speak!”

72ሄራካ ኩቶይ ናምኣንꬆ ዋሲዴስ። ጴጽሮሲካ፥ «ኩቶይ ናምኣ ዋሳናስ ኔ ታና ሄꬓ ካዳና» ጊዳ ዬሱሳ ቃላይ ኢዛስ ቆፌቲን ሂቂሚ ዬኪዴስ።And immediately the rooster crowed a second time. Then Peter remembered the word that Jesus had spoken to him: “Before the rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three times.” And he broke down and wept.
