1. 1GMVEኡሱፑን ጋላሳፌ ጉዬ ዬሱሲ ጴጽሮሳኔ ያቆቤ ቃሴካ ያቆቤ ኢሻ ዮሃኒሳ ባናራ ኤኪዲ ኢስታራ ጻላ ꬎቃ ዙማ ቦላ ኬዚዴስ።BSBBSB: After six days Jesus took with Him Peter, James, and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves.
2. 2GMVEኢስቲ ሄን ዲሺን ዬሱሳ ሜꬋይ ላሜቲዴስ፤ ኢዛ ኣይፌሶይ ኣዋ ኣርሼ ማላ ፖኢዴስ፤ ኢዛ ማይኦይካ ፖኦ ማላ ጾልቂዴስ።BSBBSB: There He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.
3. 3GMVEሄራካ ሙሴይኔ ኤላሲ ዬሱሳራ ሃሳይሼ ኢስታስ ቤቲዴስ።BSBBSB: Suddenly Moses and Elijah appeared before them, talking with Jesus.
4. 4GMVEጴጽሮሲ ዬሱሳ፥ «ጎዶ! ኑ ሃኒን ዲዛኮ ኑስ ሎኦኮ! ኔ ሼኔ ጊዲኮ ኢሲ ዳሴ ኔስ፥ ኢሲ ዳሴ ሙሴስ፥ ኢሲ ዳሴ ኤላሳስ ሄꬑ ዳሴ ኦꬆኒ?» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here. If You wish, I will put up three shelters—one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”
5. 5GMVEኢዚ ቡሮ ሃሳያን ዲሺን ፖኢዛ ሻራይ ኢስታ ካሚዴስ፤ ሻራ ጋꬃራ፥ «ታኒ ኢዛን ኡፋዬቲዛ ታ ዶሲዛ ታ ናይ ሃይሳ፤ ኢዚ ጊዛይሳ ሲዪቴ» ጊዛ ቃላ ጊሪስ ሲዪቴ።BSBBSB: While Peter was still speaking, a bright cloud enveloped them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Listen to Him!”
6. 6GMVEኢዛ ካሊዛይቲካ ሄሳ ሲዪዳ ማላ ዳጋሚዲ ቢታ ቦላ ጉፋኒዳ።BSBBSB: When the disciples heard this, they fell facedown in terror.
7. 7GMVEዬሱሲ ኢስታኮ ሺቂዲ ኢስታ ባ ኩሼን ቦቺዲ፥ «ዴንዲቴ፤ ባቦፍቴ!» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: Then Jesus came over and touched them. “Get up,” He said. “Do not be afraid.”

9. 9GMVEኢስቲ ዙማዛ ቦላፌ ዎꬊሺን ዬሱሲ፥ «ኣሳ ናይ ሃይቆፔ ዴንዳና ጋካናስ ኢንቴ ቤዮይሳ ኦናስካ ዮቶንታ ማላ» ጊ ኣዛዚዴስ።BSBBSB: As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus commanded them, “Do not tell anyone about this vision until the Son of Man has been raised from the dead.”
10. 10GMVEዬሱሳ ካሊዛይቲ፥ «ሂስቲን ሙሴ ዎጋ ታማርሲዛይቲ፥ ኤላሲ ካሴቲዲ ያና ቤሴስ ኣዛስ ጊዞ?» ጊ ኦይቺዳ።BSBBSB: The disciples asked Him, “Why then do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?”
11. 11GMVEኢዚካ ኢስታስ፥ «ቱማኮ፤ ኤላሲ ዪዲ ዉርሲካ ጊጊሳና።BSBBSB: Jesus replied, “Elijah does indeed come, and he will restore all things.
12. 12GMVEታ ኢንቴስ ጊዛይ ኤላሲ ዪዴስ፤ ጊዶ ኣቲን ኣሳይ ባ ኮዪዳ ማላ ኢዛ ቦላ ኦꬂዴስ ኣቲን ኢዛ ኤሪቤና፤ ሄሳꬆካ ኣሳ ናይ ኢስታ ኩሼን ዋዬ ቤያና» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: But I tell you that Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him, but have done to him whatever they wished. In the same way, the Son of Man will suffer at their hands.”
13. 13GMVEሄ ዎዴ ዬሱሳ ካሊዛይቲ ዬሱሲ ኢስታስ ዮቲዛይሲ ጻማቂዛ ዮሃኒሳ ጊሻስ ጊዲዳይሳ ኤሪዳ።BSBBSB: Then the disciples understood that He was speaking to them about John the Baptist.
14. 14GMVEዬሱሲኔ ኢዛ ካሊዛይቲ ኣሳኮ ሲሚዳ ማላ ኢሲ ኣሲ ዬሱሳኮ ሺቂዲ ኢዛ ሲንꬃን ጉልባቲዲ፥ «ጎዶ! ታ ና ዳይሳ ቦላፌ ዬጊዛ ሃርጌይ ዳሮ ዋዪሲዛ ጊሻስ ታስ ማራርኪ! ዳሮ ዎዴ ታማን ኩንዴስ፤ ሃꬃንካ ጌሌስ።BSBBSB: When they came to the crowd, a man came up to Jesus and knelt before Him.
15. 16GMVEታኒ ናዛ ኔና ካሊዛይታኮ ኤሃዲስ ሺን ኢስቲ ኢዛ ፓꬃና ዳንዳይቤቴና» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not heal him.”
16. 17GMVEዬሱሲ፥ «ኢንቴኖ ኣማኖንታ ጌላ ዬሌታቶ! ኣይዴ ጋካናስ ታ ኢንቴናራ ዳኔ? ቃሴ ኣይዴ ጋካናስ ታ ኢንቴና ዳንዳያኔ? ኣኔ ናዛ ሃ ታኮ ኤሂቴ» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: “O unbelieving and perverse generation!” Jesus replied. “How long must I remain with you? How long must I put up with you? Bring the boy here to Me.”
17. 18GMVEሄሳፌ ጉዬ ዬሱሲ ዳይዳንꬃዛ ሴሪዲ ናዛፔ ኬሲዴስ፤ ናዚካ ሄ ሳቴፔ ሲሚዲ ፓጺዴስ።BSBBSB: Then Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed from that moment.
18. 19GMVEዬሱሳ ካሊዛይቲ ጻላላ ኢዛኮ ሺቂዲ፥ «ኑኒ ዳይዳንꬅ ኬሳናስ ኣዛስ ዳንዳይቤኮኒ?» ጊዲ ኦይቺዳ።BSBBSB: Afterward the disciples came to Jesus privately and asked, “Why couldn’t we drive it out?”
19. 20GMVEኢዚካ ኢስታስ፥ «ኢንቴስ ኣማኖይ ፓጬ ጊዲዳ ጊሻስ ዳንዳይቤኬታ፤ ታ ኢንቴስ ቱሙ ጋይስ፤ ቄሪ ጋሼ ኣይፌ ማላ ኣማኖይ ኢንቴ ቦላ ዲዛኮ ሃይሳ ዙማ፥ ‹ሃይሳፌ ዴንዳዳ ጌዴ ባ!› ኢንቴ ጊዳኮ ኢዚ ኢንቴስ ባና። ኢንቴና ጾናናይ ዴና።BSBBSB: “Because you have so little faith,” He answered. “For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

21. 22GMVEኢስቲ ጋሊላን ኢሲፌ ዲሺን ዬሱሲ ኢስታስ፥ «ታና ኣሳ ና ኣሳስ ኣꬂ ኢማና።BSBBSB: When they gathered together in Galilee, Jesus told them, “The Son of Man is about to be delivered into the hands of men.
22. 23GMVEኢስቲካ ኢዛ ዎꬋና፤ ኢዚካ ሄꬓንꬆ ጋላስ ዴንዳና» ጊን ኢዛ ካሊዛይቲ ኬሂ ሚሼቲዳ።BSBBSB: They will kill Him, and on the third day He will be raised to life.” And the disciples were deeply grieved.

24. 25GMVEኢዚካ ኢስታስ፥ «ቃንጼስ» ጊዴስ። ጴጽሮሲ ሶ ጌሊዳ ማላ ዬሱሲ ካሴቲዲ፥ «ሲሞና ዴሬ ካዎቲ ጊራ ጊዲን ዎይኮ ቃራጻ ጊዲን ባ ናይታፔ ኤኪዞዬ? ሃራታፔ ኤኪዛ ሚሳቲዜ?» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: “Yes,” he answered. When Peter entered the house, Jesus preempted him. “What do you think, Simon?” He asked. “From whom do the kings of the earth collect customs and taxes: from their own sons, or from others?”
25. 26GMVEጴጽሮሲካ፥ «ሃራታፔ ኤኬቴስ» ጊዴስ። ዬሱሲ፥ «ሂስቲኮ ናይታ ቦላ ኣጮይ ባ ጉሳካ!BSBBSB: “From others,” Peter answered. “Then the sons are exempt,” Jesus said to him.
26. 27GMVEሂስቲኮካ ኢስታ ኑ ꬉጴꬆንታ ማላ ኔ ሞሌ ኦይኪዛ ጊቴ ኤካ ባዳ ኣባን ዬጋ፤ ኮይሮ ኦይኪዳ ሞሌዛ ዶና ፖቃዳ ኔ ዴሚዳ ሚሻ ኤካዳ ታ ሱንꬃራኔ ኔ ሱንꬃራ ጊራ ቃንጻ» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: “But so that we may not offend them, go to the sea, cast a hook, and take the first fish you catch. When you open its mouth, you will find a four-drachma coin. Take it and give it to them for My tax and yours.”
