1. 1GMVEሄ ዎዴ ዬሱሳ ካሊዛይቲ ኢዛኮ ሺቂዲ፥ «ሳሎ ካዎቴꬃን ኑ ጋርሳን ኡባፌ ኣꬋናዴይ ኦኔ?» ጊ ኦይቺዳ።BSBBSB: At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who then is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”
2. 2GMVEዬሱሲ ኢሲ ና ጼይጊ ኤሂዲ ኢስታ ጊዶን ኤሲዲ፥ «ታ ኢንቴስ ቱሙ ጋይስ፤ ኢንቴ ሲሞንታ ኢጺኮኔ ጉꬃ ናይታ ማላ ሃኖንታ ኢጺኮ ሙሌካ ሳሎ ካዎቴꬅ ጌሌኬታ።BSBBSB: Jesus invited a little child to stand among them.
3. 4GMVEሄሳ ጊሻስ ሃ ናዛ ማላ ባና ዚቂሲዛዴይ ሳሎ ካዎቴꬃን ኡባፌ ኣꬋና።BSBBSB: Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
4. 5GMVEሃይሳ ማላ ጉꬃ ና ታ ሱንꬃን ኤኪዛዴይ ታና ኤኬስ።BSBBSB: And whoever welcomes a little child like this in My name welcomes Me.
5. 6GMVE«ጊዶ ኣቲን ታና ኣማኒዛ ጉꬃታፔ ኢሳዴ ꬉጴꬂዛይ ዴጾ ዎጻ ሹቺ ኢዛ ቆꬌን ቃሼቲን ኣባ ጪማን ዬጌቲዲ ሚቴቲኮ ኢዛስ ሎኦ ጊዳና።BSBBSB: But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.
6. 7GMVEሃና ኣላሜያ ኣስ ꬉጳና ጋሶ ጊዲዳ ጊሻስ ኢዚስ ኣዬ ኣና! ꬉጴይ ዩስ ኣጌና ሺን ꬉጴዛስ ጋሶ ጊዲዛዴስ ኣዬ ኣና!BSBBSB: Woe to the world for the causes of sin. These stumbling blocks must come, but woe to the man through whom they come!
7. 8GMVEኔ ኩሼይ ዎይኮ ኔ ቶሆይ ኔና ꬉጳናስ ጋሶ ጊዲኮ ኔፔ ቃንጻ ዲጋ! ኔኒ ናምኡ ኩሼራ ዎይኮ ናምኡ ቶሆራ ጌዴ ሜርና ታማን ዬጌታናፔ ዎቤ ዎይኮ ቶሆ ሲላ ጊዳዳ ሄ ጌዴ ዴኦይ ዲዛሶ ጌሎይ ኔስ ሎኣና።BSBBSB: If your hand or your foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life crippled or lame than to have two hands and two feet and be thrown into the eternal fire.
8. 9GMVEሄሳꬆካ ኔ ኣይፌይ ኔስ ꬉጴ ጊዲኮ ኔፔ ኬሳ ዬጋ! ናምኡ ኣይፌራ ጌዴ ጋናሜ ታማን ኔ ዬጌታናፔ ኢሲ ኣይፌራ ዴኦይ ዲዛሶ ኔ ጌሊዛይሲ ኔስ ሎኦ።BSBBSB: And if your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell.
9. 10GMVE«ሃይታ ጉꬃታ ጊዶፌ ኢሲኔዮካ ኢንቴ ካꬎንታ ማላ ናጌቲቴ! ታ ኢንቴስ ቱሙ ጋይስ፤ ሳሎን ዲዛ ኢስታ ኪታንቻቲ ሳሎን ታ ኣዋ ኣይፌሶ ኡባ ጋላስ ጼሌቴስ።BSBBSB: See that you do not look down on any of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of My Father in heaven.

11. 12GMVE«ኣኔ ታስ ዮቲቴ፥ ኢሳዴስ ጼቱ ዶርሲ ዲኮ ቃሴ ኢስታፌ ኢሲና ꬋይኮ፥ ሃንኮ ኡዱፉን ታማኔ ኡዱፉናታ ዙማ ቦላ ዬጊዲ ꬋይዳሮ ኮያና ቢ ኤሬኔ?BSBBSB: What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them goes astray, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go out to search for the one that is lost?
12. 13GMVEታ ኢንቴስ ቱሙ ጋይስ፤ ሃንኮ ꬋዮንታ ኣቲዳ ኡዱፉን ታማኔ ኡዱፉን ዶርሳታፔ ኣꬂዲ ቤቲዳ ዶርሳይን ኡፋዬቴስ።BSBBSB: And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he rejoices more over that one sheep than over the ninety-nine that did not go astray.
13. 14GMVEሄሳꬆካ ሃ ጉꬃታ ጊዶፌ ኢሶይ ꬋያና ማላ ሳሎን ዲዛ ኢንቴ ኣዋ ሼኔ ጊዴና።BSBBSB: In the same way, your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should perish.
14. 15GMVE«ኔ ኢሻይ ኔና ቆሂኮ ኢዛኮ ባዳ ኢዛ ጻላላ ኔናራ ኤካዳ ኢዛ ሞሮ ኢዛስ ዮታ፤ ኢዚ ኔ ጊዛ ሲዪኮ ኔ ኢሻ ኔ ኣስ ሂስታሳ።BSBBSB: If your brother sins against you, go and confront him privately. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over.
15. 16GMVEኢዚ ኔ ጊዛይሳ ሲዮንታ ኢጺኮ ዮኦይ ዉሪ ናምኡ ማርካን ዎይኮ ሄꬑ ማርካን ላꬊዛ ጊሻስ ኢሳዴ ዎይኮ ናምኡ ኣስ ኔናራ ኤካ ባዳ ኢዛ ሃሳይሳ።BSBBSB: But if he will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’
16. 17GMVEኢዚ ኢስታካ ሲዮንታ ኢጺኮ ዎሳ ኬꬃስ ዮታ፤ ዎሳ ኬꬃዮካ ሲዮንታ ኢጺኮ ኢዛዴ ኔ ኣማኖንታዴ ማላኔ ዮቲን ሲሞንታ ኢታ ኣሳ ማላ ቆዳ።BSBBSB: If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church. And if he refuses to listen even to the church, regard him as you would a pagan or a tax collector.
17. 18GMVE«ታ ኢንቴስ ቱሙ ጋይስ፤ ቢታ ቦላ ኢንቴ ቃቺዳይ ዉሪ ሳሎንካ ቃሼቲዳ ጊዳና፤ ቢታ ቦላ ኢንቴ ቢርሺዳዚ ሳሎንካ ቢርሼቲዳይሳ ጊዳና።BSBBSB: Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
18. 19GMVEቃሴካ ታ ኢንቴስ ቱሙ ጋይስ፤ ቢታ ቦላ ኢንቴ ናምኡ ጊዲዲ ኣይ ሚሺካ ኢሲፌ ዶሳን ኢንቴ ኦይቺኮ ሳሎን ዲዛ ታ ኣዋይ ኢንቴስ ኢማና።BSBBSB: Again, I tell you truly that if two of you on the earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by My Father in heaven.
19. 20GMVEናምኡ ዎይኮ ሄꬑ ጊዲዲ ታ ሱንꬃን ኢንቴ ሺቂዛሶን ሄን ኢንቴ ጊዶን ታ ዳና» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: For where two or three gather together in My name, there am I with them.”
20. 21GMVEሄ ዎዴ ጴጽሮሲ ዬሱሳኮ ሺቂዲ፥ «ጎዶ! ታ ኢሻይ ታና ቆሂኮ ታ ኢዛስ ኣፑንቶ ኣቶ ጎ? ላፑንቶ ኣቶ ጎ?» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother who sins against me? Up to seven times?”
21. 22GMVEዬሱሲካ ኢዛስ ዛሪዲ፥ «ላፑን ታሙቶ ላፑን ኣቲን ላፑንቶ ጻላ ጋ ጊኬ፤BSBBSB: Jesus answered, “I tell you, not just seven times, but seventy-seven times!
22. 23GMVE«ሄሳ ጊሻስ ሳሎ ካዎቴꬂ ባ ኣሽካራታ ቦላ ዲዛ ሚሼ ሺሻና ኮዪዳ ካዎ ሚሳታዉስ።BSBBSB: Because of this, the kingdom of heaven is like a king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants.
23. 24GMVEሚሻ ቆዳ ኦይኪዳ ማላ ኢዛ ኣሽካራታፔ ዳሮ ሚሎኔ ቢራ ኣጮይ ኢዛ ቦላ ዲዛዴ ኤኪ ዪዳ።BSBBSB: As he began the settlements, a debtor owing ten thousand talents was brought to him.
24. 25GMVEኣሽካራዚካ ባ ቦላ ዲዛ ኣጮዛ ቃንጾይ ጾኒዳ ጊሻስ ኢዚካ ኢዛ ማቺያካ ኢዛ ናይቲኔ ኢዛስ ዲዛዚ ዉሪ ባይዜቲዲ ሚሻይ ቃንጼታና ማላ ኢዛ ጎዳይ ኢዛ ኣዛዚዴስ።BSBBSB: Since the man was unable to pay, the master ordered that he be sold to pay his debt, along with his wife and children and everything he owned.
25. 26GMVEሄ ዎዴ ኣሽካራዚ ጎዳዛ ቶሆ ቦላ ኩንዲዲ፥ ‹ታኒ ታ ቦላ ዲዛ ኣጮዛ ዉርሳ ኔስ ቃንጻና ጋካናስ ታስ ጉꬃ ዎዴ ኢማርኪ!› ጊዲ ዎሲዴስ።BSBBSB: Then the servant fell on his knees before him. ‘Have patience with me,’ he begged, ‘and I will pay back everything.’
26. 27GMVEኢዛ ጎዳይካ ኢዛስ ሚሼቲዲ ኢዛ ኣጮዛ ኡባ ማሪዲ ዬዲዴስ።BSBBSB: His master had compassion on him, forgave his debt, and released him.
27. 28GMVE«ሄ ኣሽካራዚካ ባ ጎዳ ኣቻፌ ኬዚዳ ማላ ጉꬃ ኣጮይ ኢዛ ቦላ ዲዛ ባ ላጌ ዴሚዲኔ፥ ‹ኔ ቦላ ዲዛ ታ ሚሻዮ ሃኢ ሃኒን ቃንጻ› ጊዲ ጩሊ ኦይኪዴስ።BSBBSB: But when that servant went out, he found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii. He grabbed him and began to choke him, saying, ‘Pay back what you owe me!’
28. 29GMVEሄ ኢዛ ላጌ ኣሽካራይ፥ ‹ታስ ጉꬃ ዎዴ ኢማርኪ! ታ ኔስ ቃንጻና› ጊዲ ኢዛ ቶሆ ቦላ ኩንዲዲ ዎሲዴስ።BSBBSB: So his fellow servant fell down and begged him, ‘Have patience with me, and I will pay you back.’
29. 30GMVE«ጊዶ ኣቲን ኢዛስ ጉꬃ ዎዴ ኢማናስ ኮዮንታ ኢጺዲ ኢዛ ላጌዚ ባ ቦላ ዲዛ ኣጮዛ ቃንጻና ጋካናስ ቃሾ ኬꬃን ዬጊዴስ።BSBBSB: But he refused. Instead, he went and had the man thrown into prison until he could pay his debt.
30. 31GMVEኢዚ ሄሳ ኦꬂሺን ቤኢዳ ኣሳይኔ ሃንኮ ኢዛ ላጌ ኣሽካራቲ ዳሮ ሚሼቲዳ። ቢዲካ ሃኒዳይሳ ኡባ ባ ጎዳስ ዮቲዳ።BSBBSB: When his fellow servants saw what had happened, they were greatly distressed, and they went and recounted all of this to their master.
31. 32GMVE«ሄ ዎዴ ጎዳዚ ሄ ኣሽካራ ጼይጊሲ ኤሂዲ፥ ሃይሶ ኔኖ! ኢታዞ፥ ኔ ታና ዎሲን ኔ ቦላ ዲዛ ኣጮዛ ታ ኔስ ኣጋዲሲ ሺን ታ ኔና ማሪዳ ማላ ኔኒካ ኔ ላጌዛ ማራናስ ቤሴኔ?BSBBSB: Then the master summoned him and said, ‘You wicked servant! I forgave all your debt because you begged me.
32. 34GMVEጊዲ ኢዛ ቦላ ዲዛ ኣጮዛ ኢዚ ኡባ ቃንጻና ጋካናስ ቃቻና ማላ ቃቺዛይታስ ኣꬂ ኢሚዴስ።BSBBSB: In anger his master turned him over to the jailers to be tortured, until he should repay all that he owed.
33. 35GMVEሄሳ ጊሻስ ኢንቴ ኢሶይ ኢሳ ዎዚናፔ ማሮንታ ኣጊኮ ሳሎን ዲዛ ታ ኣዋይካ ኢንቴና ማሬና» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: That is how My heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother from your heart.”
