1. 1GMVE«ኣሲ ኢንቴና ቤያና ማላ ኣሳ ሲንꬃን ሎኦ ኦꬆንታ ማላ ናጌቲቴ፤ ሄሳꬆ ኦꬂኮ ኢንቴ ሳሎ ኣዋፔ ጎኣ ዴሜኬታ።BSBBSB: “Be careful not to perform your righteous acts before men to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.
2. 2GMVEኢንቴ ማንቆታስ ማዶ ኢሚዛ ዎዴ ኣሲ ታና ቤዮ ጊዲ ኣሳ ሲንꬃን ቦንቼታናስ ኦጌኒኔ ኣይሁዳ ዎሳ ኬꬃን ጹሩምባ ፑኒሲዛ ቆꬌፔ ቆሞን ሃኒዛይታꬆ ኦꬆፍቴ። ታ ኢንቴስ ቱሙ ጋይስ፤ ኢስቲ ባ ዋጋ ኡባ ሃን ኤኪዳ።BSBBSB: So when you give to the needy, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by men. Truly I tell you, they already have their full reward.
3. 3GMVEኢንቴ ማንቆታስ ኢሚሺን ኡሻቻ ኩሼይ ኦꬂዛ ሃዲርሳ ኩሼይ ኤሮፖ።BSBBSB: But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,
4. 4GMVEኢንቴ ኢሞይ ጌማን ጊዶ፤ ቆታን ኦሴቲዳይሳ ቤኢዛ ኢንቴ ኣዋይካ ኢንቴ ዋጋ ኢንቴስ ኢማና።BSBBSB: so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
5. 5GMVE«ኢንቴ ዎሲሼ ቆꬌፔ ቆሞን ሃኒዛይታ ማላ ሃኖፒቴ፤ ኢስቲ ኣሲ ቤያና ማላ ኣይሁዳ ዎሳ ኬꬃታኒኔ ኦይዱ ኦጌ ቦላ ኤቂዲ ዎሳናስ ዶሴቴስ። ታ ኢንቴስ ቱሙ ጋይስ፤ ኢስቲ ኩሜꬃ ዋጋ ኤኪቺዳ።BSBBSB: And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. Truly I tell you, they already have their full reward.
6. 6GMVEኔኒ ዎሳና ጌሊዛ ኔ ኪፊሌ ጌላ፤ ካሬካ ኔ ቦላ ጎርዳዳ ጌማን ዲዛ ኔ ኣዋኮ ዎሳ። ጌማን ኦሴቲዳይሳ ቤኢዛ ኔ ኣዋይ ኔ ኦሶ ማላ ኔስ ኢማና።BSBBSB: But when you pray, go into your inner room, shut your door, and pray to your Father, who is unseen. And your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
7. 7GMVE«ኣማኖንታ ኣሳይ ኢሲ ቃላ ዛሪ ዛሪ ዎሲኮ ኢስታስ ሲዬቲዛ ሚሳቲን ኢስቲ ዛሪ ዛሪ ጊዛይሳꬆ ኢንቴካ ዎሲሼ ኢሲ ቃላ ዛሪ ዛሪ ጎፒቴ።BSBBSB: And when you pray, do not babble on like pagans, for they think that by their many words they will be heard.
8. 8GMVEጊዶ ኣቲን ኢንቴ ኣዋይ ኢንቴ ዎሳናፔ ካሴቲዲ ኢንቴስ ኣዚ ኮሺዛኮ ኤሪዛ ጊሻስ ኢንቴ ኢስታ ሚሳቶፒቴ።BSBBSB: Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.
9. 9GMVEኢንቴ ዎሲሼ፥ « ‹ሳሎን ዲዛ ኑ ኣዋዉ! ኔ ሱንꬂ ኣንጄቶ።BSBBSB: So then, this is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name.
10. 10GMVEኔ ካዎቴꬂ ሃ ዮ፤ ኔ ሼኔይ ሳሎን ጊዲዳ ማላ ሳኣንካ ሃኖ።BSBBSB: Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
11. 11GMVEሃቺስ ጊዲዛ ካꬅ ኑስ ሃች ኢማ።BSBBSB: Give us this day our daily bread.
12. 12GMVEኑ ኑና ቆሂዳይታስ ኣቶ ጊዛ ማላ ኔካ ኑ ቆሆ ኑስ ኣቶ ጋ።BSBBSB: And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13. The ending of the Lord’s Prayer
    13GMVEኢታፔ ኑና ኣሻ ኣቲን ኑና ፓጬን ጌልꬆፋ፤ ቦንቾይ ሜሪፔ ሜርና ጋካናስ ኔይሳ። ኣሚን› ጊ ዎሲቴ።BSBBSB: And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.’
14. 14GMVE«ኢንቴ ኢንቴና ቆሂዳይታስ ኣቶ ጊኮ ኢንቴ ሳሎ ኣዋይካ ኢንቴስ ኣቶ ጋና።BSBBSB: For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
15. 15GMVEቃሴ ኢንቴ ኣሳ ናጋራ ኣቶ ጎንታ ኢጺኮ ኢንቴ ኣዋይካ ኢንቴ ናጋራ ኣቶ ጌና።BSBBSB: But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive yours.
16. 16GMVE«ኢንቴ ጾማ ጾሚሼ ቆꬌፔ ቆሞን ጾሚዛይታꬆ ሹሎፍቴ። ኢስቲ ባ ጾሚዛይሳ ኣሲ ኤራና ማላ ባ ኣይፌሶ ኢሴቴስ። ታ ቱሙ ጋይስ፤ ሄሳꬆ ኦꬂዛይቲ ባ ዋጋ ኩሜꬅ ኤኪቺዳ።BSBBSB: When you fast, do not be somber like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces to show men they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they already have their full reward.
17. 17GMVEኔኒ ጾማ ጾማሼ ኔ ኣይፌሶ ሜጬታ፥ ኔ ሁኤ ቲዬታ።BSBBSB: But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face,
18. 18GMVEሄሳꬆ ኔ ጾሚኮ ጌማን ዲዛ ኔ ኣዋይ ጻላላ ኤሪዛዚኔ ኣሲ ኦኒካ ኤሮንታ ቆታን ጊዳና። ቆታን ኦሴቲዳይሳ ቤኢዛ ኔ ኣዋይካ ኔ ዋጋ ኔስ ኢማና።BSBBSB: so that your fasting will not be obvious to men, but only to your Father, who is unseen. And your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
19. 19GMVE«ቢላይ ሚዛሶን ቡቂዲኔ ሺይዲ ሞሬቲዛሶን፥ ካይሶይ ቦኪዲ ካይሳናስ ዳንዳይዛሶን፥ ሃ ቢታ ቦላ ኢንቴስ ሚሽ ሺሾፍቴ።BSBBSB: Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.
20. 20GMVEጊዶ ኣቲን ቢላይ ማናስ፥ ቡቂዲ ዎይኮ ሺይዲ ሞሬቶንታሶን፥ ካይሶይ ቦኪ ኤካና ዳንዳዮንታሶን ሄን ሳሎን ኢንቴስ ሚሽ ሺሺቴ።BSBBSB: But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.
21. 21GMVEኔ ሚሻይ ዲዛሶን ኔ ዎዚናይ ሄን ዴስ።BSBBSB: For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
22. 22GMVE«ኣይፌይ ኣሳቴꬃስ ፖኦ፤ ሄሳ ጊሻስ ኔ ኣይፌይ ፓጻ ጊዲኮ፥ ኔ ኩሜꬃ ኣሳቴꬃይካ ፖኦ ጊዳና።BSBBSB: The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are good, your whole body will be full of light.
23. 23GMVEኔ ኣይፌይ ሃርጋንቻ ጊዲኮ፥ ኔ ኩሜꬃ ኣሳቴꬃይካ ꬉማ ጻላ ጊዳና። ሂስቲኮ ኔናን ዲዛ ፖኦይ ꬉማ ጊዲኮ፥ ቃሴ ꬉማይ ዋኒዳ ጊርዲ ጊዳ ꬉማ ጊዳንዴ?BSBBSB: But if your eyes are bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!
24. 24GMVE«ኢሲ ኣሲ ናምኡ ጎዳስ ኦꬃና ዳንዳዬና። ኢሳ ኢጺዲ ናምኣንꬆዛ ዶሳና፤ ዎይኮ ኢሳ ቦንቺዲ ናምኣንꬆዛ ሌቃና፤ ጾሳሲኔ ሚሻስ ናምኣታስ ጋꬂ ኦꬃናስ ዳንዳዬቴና።BSBBSB: No one can serve two masters: Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.
25. 25GMVE«ሄሳ ጊሻስ ታ ኢንቴና ኢንቴ ዱሳ ጊሻስ፥ ‹ኣይ ሚኖ? ኣይ ኡዪኖ? ኣይ ማይኢኖ?› ጊዲ ሂርጎፍቴ ጋይስ። ሼምፖይ ቁማፔ፥ ኣሾይ ማይኦፌ ኣꬌኔ?BSBBSB: Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?
26. 26GMVEኣኔ ሳሎ ካፎታ ጼሊቴ! ዜሬቴና፤ ማጼቴና፤ ዲኤን ቆሌቴና፤ ጊዶ ኣቲን ኢንቴ ሳሎ ኣዋይ ኢስታ ሚዜስ። ኢንቴ ኢስታፌ ኬሂ ኣꬌኬቲ?BSBBSB: Look at the birds of the air: They do not sow or reap or gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
27. 27GMVEኣኔ ኢንቴፌ ዳሮ ዋዬቲዲ ባስ ኢሜቲዳ ላይꬃ ቦላ ሃራ ኢሲ ጋላስ ጉጃና ዳንዳይዛ ኣሲ ዲዜ?BSBBSB: Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?
28. 28GMVE«ቃሴ ማይኦ ጊሻስ ኣዛስ ሂርጌቲ? ኣኔ ጮ ዴምባን ዲዛ ጪሻታ ጼሊቴ፤ ዳቡሬቴና ዎይኮ ሱቄቴና።BSBBSB: And why do you worry about clothes? Consider how the lilies of the field grow: They do not labor or spin.
29. 29GMVEሄሳ ጊሻስ ታ ኢንቴና ጊዛይ ሃራይ ኣቶሺን ካዎ ሶሎሞኔይካ ባ ቦንቾራ ሃ ጪሻታፔ ኢሲኔይ ማላ ሎኦ ማይኢቤና።BSBBSB: Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his glory was adorned like one of these.
30. 30GMVEኢንቴኖ ፓጬ ኣማኖይ ዲዛይቶ! ሃች ኣሳ ኣይፌን ቤቲዲ ዎንቶ ታማን ዎꬋና ማታ ሃይሳꬆ ማይዚዛ ጾሲ ኢንቴና ሄሳፌ ሎኤꬂ ኣꬂ ማይዛናስ ዳንዳዬኔ?BSBBSB: If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
31. 31GMVEሄሳ ጊሻስ ኑ ኣይ ማኔ? ኣይ ኡያኔ? ኣይ ማይኣኔ? ጊዲ ሂርጎፍቴ።BSBBSB: Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’
32. 32GMVEሃንኮ ኣማኖንታ ኣሳይ ሃይሳ ዴማናስ ዳሮ ቆፔስ። ሃይሲ ዉሪ ኢንቴስ ኮሺዛይሳ ኢንቴ ሳሎ ኣዋይ ኤሬስ።BSBBSB: For the Gentiles strive after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.
33. 33GMVEሃራፔ ሲንꬃቲዲ ጾሳ ካዎቴꬃ ጺሎቴꬅ ኮዪቴ፤ ሃይቲ ዉሪ ኢንቴስ ጉጄታና።BSBBSB: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you.
34. 34GMVEሄሳ ጊሻስ ዎንቶስ ኬሂ ቆፖፍቴ፤ ዎንቶ ሜቶይ ዎንቶስ ኣቆ፤ ኢሲ ኢሲ ጋላሳይ ባስ ባስ ጊዲዛ ሜቶራ ዴስ።BSBBSB: Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Today has enough trouble of its own.
