1. 1GOFEኖሄ ናይታ፥ ሴማ፥ ካማነ ያፈታ የለተꬃይ ሀይሳፈ ካልድ ፃፈትዳይሳ። ꬋዮ ሃꬃፈ ጉየ፥ ኤንታዉ አደ ናይት የለትዶሶና።BSBBSB: This is the account of Noah’s sons Shem, Ham, and Japheth, who also had sons after the flood.
2. 2GOFEያፈታ አደ ናይት፥ ጎመራ፥ ማጎገ፥ ማዳያ፥ ያዋና፥ ቱባላ፥ ሞሳሀነ ትራሳ።BSBBSB: The sons of Japheth: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras.
3. 3GOFEጎመራ አደ ናይት፥ አስካናዛ፥ እርፋታነ ቶጋርማ።BSBBSB: The sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, Riphath, and Togarmah.
4. 4GOFEያዋና አደ ናይት፥ ኤልሻ፥ ታርሰሳ፥ ክፅማነ ሮዳ።BSBBSB: And the sons of Javan: Elishah, Tarshish, the Kittites, and the Rodanites.
5. 5GOFEሀይሳቲ ዩሾይ አባን ተቀትዳ ቢታን ደእያ ያፈታ ሼሻታስ ማይዛታ። ኤንቲ ባንታ ቢታን ቢታን፥ ባንታ ዶናን ዶናንነ ባንታ ካዎተꬃን ካዎተꬃን ሻከትድ ደእያ ደረታ።BSBBSB: From these, the maritime peoples separated into their territories, according to their languages, by clans within their nations.
6. 6GOFEካማ አደ ናይት፥ ኩሻ፥ ግብፀ፥ ሊበነ ካናነ።BSBBSB: The sons of Ham: Cush, Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.
7. 7GOFEኩሻ አደ ናይት፥ ሳባ፥ ሀውላ፥ ሳብታ፥ ራእማነ ሳብታካ። ራእመ አደ ናይት፤ ሳባነ ደዳና።BSBBSB: The sons of Cush: Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah, and Sabteca. And the sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan.
8. 8GOFEኩሽ ናምሩደ የልስ፤ ናምሩደይ ሀ ሳአን ኮይሮ ዎልቃማ ኦላንቾ ግድስ።BSBBSB: Cush was the father of Nimrod, who began to be a mighty one on the earth.
9. 9GOFEጎዳ ማደን ዎልቃማ ሻንካንቾ ግድስ። አሳይ፥ “ናምሩደዳ ጎዳይ ነና ዎልቃማ ሻንካንቾ ከሶ” ግድ አንጀይ ሄሳ ግሾሳ።BSBBSB: He was a mighty hunter before the LORD; so it is said, “Like Nimrod, a mighty hunter before the LORD.”
10. 10GOFEእያ ካዎተꬃስ ኮይሮ ካታማት ሳናኦራ ቢታን ደእያ ባብሎነ፥ ኤረካ፥ አርካዳነ ካልነ።BSBBSB: His kingdom began in Babylon, Erech, Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.
11. 11GOFEእ ሄ ቢታፈ አሶረ ብድ፥ ናናወ፥ ረሆቦታነ ካላሀ ኬፅስ።BSBBSB: From that land he went forth into Assyria, where he built Nineveh, Rehoboth-Ir, Calah,
12. 12GOFEቃስ ናናወፐነ ካላሀ ካታማፐ ግዶን ረሴና ኬፅስ።BSBBSB: and Resen, which is between Nineveh and the great city of Calah.
13. 13GOFEምፅራይም፥ ሉደታ፥ አናምመታ፥ ላሀበታ፥ ናፍቱሄታ፥BSBBSB: Mizraim was the father of the Ludites, the Anamites, the Lehabites, the Naphtuhites,
14. 14GOFEፓትሮሳታነ ፍልስፄመ ኮቻ የልዳ ካስሉሄማታነ ቃፍቶረታ ማይዛ።BSBBSB: the Pathrusites, the Casluhites (from whom the Philistines came), and the Caphtorites.
15. 15GOFEካናነይ ባ ባይራ ናአ ስዶናነ ሄታ የልስ።BSBBSB: And Canaan was the father of Sidon his firstborn, and of the Hittites,
16. 16GOFEቃስ ካናነ ሼሻት ያቡሰታ፥ አሞረታ፥ ገርገሰታ፥BSBBSB: the Jebusites, the Amorites, the Girgashites,
17. 17GOFEህወታ፥ አርከታ፥ ሲናታ፥BSBBSB: the Hivites, the Arkites, the Sinites,
18. 18GOFEአርዋደታ፥ ፃማራታነ ሀማታታ የልስ። ሄሳፈ ጉየ፥ ካናነ ሼሻት ዱማ ዱማ በሲ ላለትዶሶና።BSBBSB: the Arvadites, the Zemarites, and the Hamathites. Later the Canaanite clans were scattered,
19. 19GOFEካናነ ቢታ ዛዋይ ስዶናፐ ዶምድ፥ ጋራራነ ጋዛራ ጋክድ፥ ሶዶመነ ጋሞራ፥ አዳማነ ፃቦይማ ብድ፥ ላሻአ ጋክ ኤቅስ።BSBBSB: and the borders of Canaan extended from Sidon toward Gerar as far as Gaza, and then toward Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim, as far as Lasha.
20. 20GOFEሀይሳቲ ካማ ሼሻታ፤ ኤንታዉ ዱማ ዱማ ዶን፥ ዱማ ዱማ ቢትነ ዱማ ዱማ ካዎተꬅ ደኤስ።BSBBSB: These are the sons of Ham according to their clans, languages, lands, and nations.
21. 21GOFEሴማስ ናይት የለትዶሶና። እ ያፈታስ ባይራ እሻነ ኤቦራ ናይታ ኡባስ ማይዛ።BSBBSB: And sons were also born to Shem, the older brother of Japheth; Shem was the forefather of all the sons of Eber.
22. 22GOFEሴማ አደ ናይት፥ ኤላማ፥ አሶረ፥ አርፋክሳደ፥ ሉደነ አራመ።BSBBSB: The sons of Shem: Elam, Asshur, Arphaxad, Lud, and Aram.
23. 23GOFEአራመ አደ ናይት፥ ኡፃ፥ ሁላ፥ ገተራነ ማሸካ።BSBBSB: The sons of Aram: Uz, Hul, Gether, and Mash.
24. 24GOFEአርፋክሳድ ሳላ የልስ። ሳል ኤቦራ የልስ።BSBBSB: Arphaxad was the father of Shelah, and Shelah was the father of Eber.
25. 25GOFEኤቦራስ ናምኡ አደ ናይት የለትዶሶና። ሳአን ደእያ አሳይ እያ ዎደ ሻከትዳ ግሾ እሱዋ ፐለጋ ግድ ሱንꬅስ። እያ እሻ ሱንꬃይ ዮቅፃና።BSBBSB: Two sons were born to Eber: One was named Peleg, because in his days the earth was divided, and his brother was named Joktan.
26. 26GOFEዮቅፃና ሼሻት ሀይሳታ። ኤንትካ አልሞዳዳ፥ ሳለፋ፥ ሀሰርሞታ፥ ያራሀ፥BSBBSB: And Joktan was the father of Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,
27. 27GOFEሀዶራማ፥ ኡዛላ፥ ድቅላ፥BSBBSB: Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah,
28. 28GOFEኦባላ፥ አብማላ፥ ሳባ፥BSBBSB: Obal, Abimael, Sheba,
29. 29GOFEኦፍራ፥ ሀውላነ ዮባባ። ሀይሳቲ ኡባይ ዮቅፃና ሼሻታ።BSBBSB: Ophir, Havilah, and Jobab. All these were sons of Joktan.
30. 30GOFEኤንቲ ደእዳ ሄራይ ሜሳፐ ብድ ዶሎሀ ባጋራ ደእያ ደረይ ዳርያ ሳፋራ ቢታ ጋኬስ።BSBBSB: Their territory extended from Mesha to Sephar, in the eastern hill country.
31. 31GOFEሀይሳቲ ኡባይ ሴማ ሼሻታ፤ ኤንታዉ ዱማ ዱማ ዶን፥ ዱማ ዱማ ቢትነ ዱማ ዱማ ካዎተꬅ ደኤስ።BSBBSB: These are the sons of Shem, according to their clans, languages, lands, and nations.
32. 32GOFEሀይሳቲ ኡባይ ባንታ ሼሻን ሼሻንነ ባንታ ካዎተꬃን ካዎተꬃን ፃፈትዳ ኖሄ ናይታ። ꬋዮ ሃꬃፈ ጉየ ካዎተꬃት ሀይሳታፐ ሳአ ኡባ ላለትዶሶና።BSBBSB: All these are the clans of Noah’s sons, according to their generations and nations. From these the nations of the earth spread out after the flood.
