1. 1GOFEየሱሲ ባ ታማረታኮ፥ “አሰ ꬉበꬅድ ናጋራን ገልስያባይ ዮና አገና። ግዶሽን፥ ናጋራን ገላና መላ ኦꬅያ ኡራ አየ!” ያግስ።BSBBSB: Jesus said to His disciples, “It is inevitable that stumbling blocks will come, but woe to the one through whom they come!
2. 2GOFEሄ ኡራይ ካሎታፐ እሱዋ ባለꬃናፐ ዎፃ ባ ቆን ቃችድ አባን ዉልኮ እያዉ ሎኦ።BSBBSB: It would be better for him to have a millstone hung around his neck and to be thrown into the sea than to cause one of these little ones to stumble.
3. 3GOFEሄሳ ግሾ ናገትተ። “ነ እሻይ ናጋራ ኦꬅኮ ሀንቀታ፤ ቂሮትድ ማሮተꬃን ስምኮ፥ እያዉ አቶ ያጋ።BSBBSB: Watch yourselves. If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.
4. 4GOFEእስ ጋላሳን ላፑን ቶሆ ቆህድ፥ ላፑን ቶሆ፥ ‘ታኒ ታ ናጋራ ኤራስ ታና ማራ’ ያግድ ኔኮ ዪኮ እያዉ አቶ ጋ።”BSBBSB: Even if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times returns to say, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive him.”
5. 5GOFEሀዋረት ጎዳኮ፥ “አማኖ ኑስ ጉጃርክ” ያግዶሶና።BSBBSB: The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!”
6. 6GOFEጎዳይ፥ “ጋሸ አይፈ መላ አማኖይ ህንተዉ ደእኮ ‘ሀይሳ ዎላ ሾደታዳ አባ ግዶን ቶከታ’ ያግኮ ህንተዉ ኪተታና” ያግስ።BSBBSB: And the Lord answered, “If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.
7. 7GOFEጉጅድካ የሱሲ፥ “ህንተ ግዶፈ እሱዋስ ጎሻንቾይ ዎይኮ ዶርሰ ሄምያ አይለይ ደእኮ ኦሶ ጋደፐ ዎይኮ ዉደፐ ሶ ስምያ ዎደ፥ ‘ኤለ ሃያዳ ካꬅ ማናዉ ኡታ’ ያገይ ደኢ?BSBBSB: Which of you whose servant comes in from plowing or shepherding in the field will say to him, ‘Come at once and sit down to eat’?
8. 8GOFEዴና፥ ‘ታዉ ካሆ ጊግሳ፤ ታኒ ማዳ፥ ኡያዳ አጋና ጋካናዉ ኤቃዳ ሙዛ። ሄሳፈ ጉየ፥ ኔኒ ቃስ ማሳነ ኡያሳ’ ያገነዬ?BSBBSB: Instead, won’t he tell him, ‘Prepare my meal and dress yourself to serve me while I eat and drink, and afterward you may eat and drink’?
9. 9GOFEህዛ፥ ጎዳይ፥ አይለይ ኪታ ፖልዳ ግሾ አንጅዬ?BSBBSB: Does he thank the servant because he did what he was told?
10. 10GOFEሄሳ ግሾ፥ ህንተካ ኪተቶይሳ ኡባ ፖልዳ ዎደ፥ ‘ኑ ፓꬆና አይለታ፤ ኦꬃናዉ በሲያ ኦሱዋ ፖልዳ’ ያግተ” ያግስ።BSBBSB: So you also, when you have done everything commanded of you, should say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty.’”
11. 11GOFEየሱሲ የሩሳላመ ብሸ ሳማርስነ ጋልላስ ግዶራ ካንꬅድ አꬍስ።BSBBSB: While Jesus was on His way to Jerusalem, He was passing between Samaria and Galilee.
12. 12GOFEእስ ጉታ ገልያ ዎደ ባሮ ሀርገን ኦይከትዳ ታሙ አሳት እያ ደምዶሶና። ኤንትካ ሃሆን ኤቅድ፥BSBBSB: As He entered one of the villages, He was met by ten lepers. They stood at a distance
13. 13GOFE“ጎዳ የሱሳ፥ ኑስ ቃታርክ” ያግድ ዋስዶሶና።BSBBSB: and raised their voices, shouting, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”
14. 14GOFEእ ኤንታ በእዳ ዎደ፥ “ብድ ህንተናተꬃ አይሁደ ካህነ በስተ” ያግስ። ኤንቲ ኦግያ ቦላ ብሸ ፓፅዶሶና።BSBBSB: When Jesus saw them, He said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And as they were on their way, they were cleansed.
15. 15GOFEኤንታፈ እሶይ ባ ፓፁዋ በእዳ ዎደ ꬎቁ ግዳ ቃላን ፆሳ ቦንችሸ የሱሳኮ ስምስ።BSBBSB: When one of them saw that he was healed, he came back, praising God in a loud voice.
16. 16GOFEእ፥ ሳማረ ቢታ አስ፥ ሽን የሱሳ ቶሆ ቦላ ጉፋንድ እያ ጋላትስ።BSBBSB: He fell facedown at Jesus’ feet in thanksgiving to Him—and he was a Samaritan.
17. 17GOFEየሱሲ፥ “ፓፅዳይ ታሙ አሳታ ግዶኮናዬ? ያትን፥ ኡዱፉናት አዉ ብዶና?BSBBSB: “Were not all ten cleansed?” Jesus asked. “Where then are the other nine?
18. 18GOFEሀ አላጋ ኡራፐ አትሽን፥ ሀር ስሚድ ፆሳ ጋላተይ ዴና ጉሰዬ?” ያግድ ኦይችስ።BSBBSB: Was no one found except this foreigner to return and give glory to God?”
19. 19GOFEኡራኮ፥ “ነ አማኖይ ነና ፓꬅስ፤ ደንዳዳ ባ” ያግስ።BSBBSB: Then Jesus said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well!”
20. 20GOFEፋርሳወት፥ “ፆሳ ካዎተꬃይ አዉደ ያኔ?” ግድ የሱሳ ኦይችዶሶና። እ፥ “ፆሳ ካዎተꬃይ በንትያ ማላን ዬና።BSBBSB: When asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The kingdom of God will not come with observable signs.
21. 21GOFEቃስካ እያ፥ ‘ሀንና ዎይኮ ህንና ያጋናዉ ዳንዳኤና። አይስ ጊኮ፥ ፆሳ ካዎተꬃይ ህንተ ግዶን ደኤስ’ ” ያግድ ዛርስ።BSBBSB: Nor will people say, ‘Look, here it is,’ or ‘There it is.’ For you see, the kingdom of God is in your midst.”
22. 22GOFEየሱሲ ባ ታማረታኮ፥ “አሳ ናአ ጋላሳታፐ እሱዋ በአናዉ ህንተ አሞትያ ዎደይ ያና፥ ሽን ህንተ በኤከታ።BSBBSB: Then He said to the disciples, “The time is coming when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, but you will not see it.
23. 23GOFEአሳይ፥ ‘እ ያን ደኤስ’ ዎይኮ፥ ‘ሀይሳን ደኤስ’ ያጋና፥ ሽን ኤንታና ካልድ ቦፕተ።BSBBSB: People will tell you, ‘Look, there He is!’ or ‘Look, here He is!’ Do not go out or chase after them.
24. 24GOFEዎልአንꬅ ዎልአምድ ሳሎ ጋፃፐ ጋፃ ፖእስያ መላ አሳ ናኣ ዩሳ ጋላሳይ ሄሳዳ ሀናና።BSBBSB: For just as the lightning flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other, so will be the Son of Man in His day.
25. 25GOFEሽን ሄስ ሀናናፐ ስን አሳ ናአይ ዳሮ ዋያናዉነ ሀ የለተꬃን እፀታናዉ በሴስ።BSBBSB: But first He must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.
26. 26GOFEኖሄ ዎደ ሀንዳይሳ መላ አሳ ናአ ዎደን ሄሳዳ ሀናና።BSBBSB: Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man:
27. 27GOFEኖሄይ ማርካብያን ገልዳ ቃማ ጋካናዉ አሳይ ምሸነ ኡይሸ፥ ኤክሸነ ገልሸ ደእሽን ꬋዮ ሃꬃይ ይድ ኡባ ꬋይስስ።BSBBSB: People were eating and drinking, marrying and being given in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.
28. 28GOFEሎፀ ላይꬃንካ ሄሳꬆ ሀንስ። አሳይ ምሸነ ኡይሸ፥ ሻምሸነ ባይዝሸ፥ ቶክሸነ ኬፅሸ፥ ጋምእዶሶና።BSBBSB: It was the same in the days of Lot: People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building.
29. 29GOFEሎፀይ ሶዶመፐ ከይዳ ጋላስ ዲነ ጌተትያ ፁግያባይ ሳሎፐ ቡክድ ኡባ ꬋይስስ።BSBBSB: But on the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all.
30. 30GOFEአሳ ናአይ ቆንጭያ ዎደካ ሄሳዳ ሀናና።BSBBSB: It will be just like that on the day the Son of Man is revealed.
31. 31GOFE“ሄ ጋላሳን ካረን ደእያ ኦንካ ኬꬃ ግዶን ደእያባ ኤካናዉ ሶ ገሎፖ። ሄሳዳካ፥ ጋደን ደእያ አስ አይኮስካ ሶ ስሞፎ።BSBBSB: On that day, let no one on the housetop come down to retrieve his possessions. Likewise, let no one in the field return for anything he has left behind.
32. 32GOFEሎፀ ማችዉ አኬክተ፤BSBBSB: Remember Lot’s wife!
33. 33GOFEባ ሸምፕዉ አሻናዉ ኮይያ አስ ኦንካ ꬋይሳና፤ ባ ሸምፕዉ አꬅድ እምያ ኦንካ እ አሻና።BSBBSB: Whoever tries to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life will preserve it.
34. 34GOFEታ ህንተዉ ኦዳይስ፤ ሄ ጋላሳን ናምኡ አሳት እስ አርሳን ዝንአና፤ እሶይ ኤከታና፥ ሀንኮይ አታና።BSBBSB: I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed: one will be taken and the other left.
35. 35GOFEናምኡ ማጫሳት ዎላ ጋጭሽን ኢስያ ኤከታና፥ ሀንክያ አታና።BSBBSB: Two women will be grinding grain together: one will be taken and the other left.”
36. 36GOFEናምኡ አሳት ዎላ ጋደን ጎየይሳታፐ እሶይ ኤከታና፥ ሀንኮይ አታና” ያግስ።BSBBSB: Not in the BSB

37. 37GOFEኤንቲ፥ “ጎዳዉ አዉ ኤከታኔ?” ያግድ ኦይችዶሶና። እ፥ “ባዉት ደእያ በሳን አንኮት ሺቆሶና” ያግስ።BSBBSB: “Where, Lord?” they asked. Jesus answered, “Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather.”
