1. 1GOFEኤንቲ የሩሳላመ ማትሸ፥ ሻማሆ ዙማ ማታን ደእያ ቤተፋገነ ብታነ ካታማታ ጋክዶሶና። የሱሲ ባ ታማረታፐ ናምአታ ስን ኪትድ፥BSBBSB: As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage and Bethany at the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent out two of His disciples
2. 2GOFE“ህንተፈ ስንꬃን ደእያ ጉታ ቢተ፤ ያ ገልዳ መላ ኦንካ ቶግቦና ቃሾን ደእያ ሀረ ማር ህንተ ደማና፥ እያ ብልድ፥ ሃ ኤክ ዪተ።BSBBSB: and said to them, “Go into the village ahead of you, and as soon as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, on which no one has ever sat. Untie it and bring it here.
3. 3GOFEኦንካ ህንተና፥ ‘ሀይሳ አይስ ኦቲ?’ ያግድ ኦይችኮ፥ ‘ጎዳይ እያ ኮዬስ፥ ኤለስድ ሃ የዳና’ ያግተ” ያግስ።BSBBSB: If anyone asks, ‘Why are you doing this?’ tell him, ‘The Lord needs it and will return it shortly.’”
4. 4GOFEኤንቲ ብድ፥ ሀረ ማር ካረ ቦላ ኦገ ማታን ቃሸትድ ደኤይሳ ደምድ ብልዶሶና።BSBBSB: So they went and found the colt outside in the street, tied at a doorway. They untied it,
5. 5GOFEሄ በሳን ኤቅዳ እስ እስ አሳት ኤንታኮ፥ “ሀረ ማራ ዋታናዉ ብሌቲ?” ያግድ ኦይችዶሶና።BSBBSB: and some who were standing there asked, “Why are you untying the colt?”
6. 6GOFEእያ ታማረት የሱሲ ባንታና ኪትዳይሳ ኦድን፥ አሳት የድ አግዶሶና።BSBBSB: The disciples answered as Jesus had instructed them, and the people gave them permission.
7. 7GOFEኤንቲ ሀረ ማራ የሱሳኮ ኤህድ፥ ባንታ ማኡዋ እያ ዞኮን ሂፅን የሱሲ ሄ ሀረ ማራ ቶግስ።BSBBSB: Then they led the colt to Jesus and threw their cloaks over it, and He sat on it.
8. 8GOFEዳሮ አሳይ ባንታ ማኡዋ ኦግያን ሂፅዶሶና፤ ቃስ ሀራት ምꬃ ታሸ ታሽድ፥ ኦገን ሂፅዶሶና።BSBBSB: Many in the crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others spread branches they had cut from the fields.
9. 9GOFEየሱሳፐ ስንꬃራ ሄመትያ አሳይነ እያ ካልያ አሳይ ባንታ ቃላ ꬎቁ ኦꬅድ፥ “ሆሳና! ፆሳይ ጋላተቶ! ጎዳ ሱንꬃን የይስ አንጀትዳይሳ።BSBBSB: The ones who went ahead and those who followed were shouting: “Hosanna!” “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!”
10. 10GOFEጎዳ ሱንꬃን ያ ኑ አዋ ዳዊታ ካዎተꬃይ አንጀትዳይሳ። ኡባፈ ቦላ ሳሎን ደእያ ፆሳይ ጋላተቶ” ያግዶሶና።BSBBSB: “Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David!” “Hosanna in the highest!”
11. 11GOFEየሱሲ የሩሳላመ ብድ፥ ፆሳ ኬꬃ ገልስ። ቃስ ኡባባ ዩይ ፄልዳፐ ጉየ፥ ሳእ ቃምያ ግሾ፥ ታማነ ናምኡ ታማረታራ ብታነ ካታማ ብስ።BSBBSB: Then Jesus entered Jerusalem and went into the temple courts. He looked around at everything, but since it was already late, He went out to Bethany with the Twelve.
12. 12GOFEዎንተꬃ ጋላስ ኤንቲ ብታነፐ ከይድ ብሽን፥ የሱሲ ኮሻትስ።BSBBSB: The next day, when they had left Bethany, Jesus was hungry.
13. 13GOFEሃሆን እስ ባላሰ ምꬅዉ ሀይꬃ ፃላላ ማአ ኡትዳሮ በእድ፥ እ ቦላ አይፈይ በንትኮ ግድ፥ በአናዉ ኢኮ ብስ፥ ሽን ኢኮ እ ብያ ዎደ፥ ሀይꬃ ፃላላፐ አትሽን፥ እስ አይፈካ ደምቤና፤ አይስ ጊኮ፥ ባላሰይ አይፍያ ዎደይ ጋክቤና።BSBBSB: Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, He went to see if there was any fruit on it. But when He reached it, He found nothing on it except leaves, since it was not the season for figs.
14. 14GOFEየሱሲ ሄ ባላስዉ፥ “ህዛ፥ አስ ኔፐ መርናዉ አይፈ ሞፖ” ያግስ። እያ ታማረት እ ገይሳ ስእዶሶና።BSBBSB: Then He said to the tree, “May no one ever eat of your fruit again.” And His disciples heard this statement.
15. 15GOFEኤንቲ የሩሳላመ ብዶሶና፤ የሱሲ ፆሳ ኬꬅ ገልድ፥ ያን ባይዘይሳታነ ሻመይሳታ ካረ ጎዶ ኦይክስ፤ ቃስ ሚሸ ላመይሳታ ፃርጴዛነ ሆለ ባይዘይሳታ ኦይድያ ሽር የግድ፥BSBBSB: When they arrived in Jerusalem, Jesus entered the temple courts and began to drive out those who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those selling doves.
16. 16GOFEአስ አይብባካ ቶክድ፥ ፆሳ ኬꬃ ግዶራ አꬎና መላ ድግስ።BSBBSB: And He would not allow anyone to carry merchandise through the temple courts.
17. 17GOFEየሱሲ አሳ ሀይሳዳ ያግድ ታማርስስ፦ “ጌሻ ማፃፋን፥ ‘ታ ኬꬃይ አስ ኡባይ ፆሳ ዎስያ ኬꬅ ግዳና’ ጌተትድ ፃፈትስ። ሽን ህንተ እያ ፓንጋት ቆሰትያ ጎንጎሎ ኦꬅደታ” ያግስ።BSBBSB: Then Jesus began to teach them, and He declared, “Is it not written: ‘My house will be called a house of prayer for all the nations’? But you have made it ‘a den of robbers.’”
18. 18GOFEካህነ ሀላቃትነ ህገ አስታማረት ሄሳ ስእድ፥ እያ ዎꬋናዉ ኦገ ኮይዶሶና። ሽን ዳሮ አሳይ እያ ትምርትያን ማላለትያ ግሾ፥ እያዉ ባብዶሶና።BSBBSB: When the chief priests and scribes heard this, they looked for a way to kill Him. For they were afraid of Him, because the whole crowd was astonished at His teaching.
19. 19GOFEሳአይ ኦማርስያ ዎደ የሱሲነ እያ ታማረት ካታማፐ ጋፃ ከይዶሶና።BSBBSB: And when evening came, Jesus and His disciples went out of the city.
20. 20GOFEኤንቲ ዎንተꬃ ጋላስ ሄ ኦግያራ አꬍሸ፥ ሄ ባላስያ ፃጶራ መልዳሮ በእዶሶና።BSBBSB: As they were walking back in the morning, they saw the fig tree withered from its roots.
21. 21GOFEጰፅሮስ አኬክድ፥ “አስታማርያዉ፥ ሄኮ፥ ኔኒ ባድዳ ባላስያ መላሱ” ያግስ።BSBBSB: Peter remembered it and said, “Look, Rabbi! The fig tree You cursed has withered.”
22. 22GOFEየሱሲ ዛሪድ፥ “ፆሳ አማንተ።BSBBSB: “Have faith in God,” Jesus said to them.
23. 23GOFEታኒ ህንተዉ ቱማ ኦዳይስ፤ ኦንካ ባ ዎዛናን ስꬎና ግዳባይ ሀናናይሳ አማንድ፥ ሀ ዙማ፥ ‘ደንዳዳ አባን ኩንዳ’ ያግኮ እያዉ ሀናና።BSBBSB: “Truly I tell you that if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and has no doubt in his heart but believes that it will happen, it will be done for him.
24. 24GOFEሄሳ ግሾ፥ ታኒ ህንተዉ ኦዳይስ፤ ፆሳ ህንተ ዎስያባነ ኦይችያባ አይባ ግድኮካ ኤክዳዳ አማንተ፥ ህንተ ኤካና።BSBBSB: Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
25. 25GOFEፆሳ ዎሳናዉ ህንተ ኤቅያ ዎደ፥ ሳሎን ደእያ ህንተ አዋይ ህንተ ናጋራ አቶ ጋና መላ፥ ኦንካ ህንተና ናቅዳባይ ደእኮ፥ እያዉ አቶ ጊተ።BSBBSB: And when you stand to pray, if you hold anything against another, forgive it, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your trespasses as well.”

27. 27GOFEኤንቲ ዛሪድ የሩሳላመ ብዶሶና። የሱሲ ፆሳ ኬꬃን ሄመትሽን፥ ካህነ ሀላቃት፥ ህገ አስታማረትነ ጭማት እያኮ ይድ፥BSBBSB: After their return to Jerusalem, Jesus was walking in the temple courts, and the chief priests, scribes, and elders came up to Him.
28. 28GOFE“ኔኒ ሀይሳ ኦꬃናዉ ነዉ አይ ማት ደኢ? ዎይኮ ነዉ ሀ ማታ እምዳይ ኦኔ?” ያግዶሶና።BSBBSB: “By what authority are You doing these things?” they asked. “And who gave You the authority to do them?”
29. 29GOFEየሱሲ ዛሪድ፥ “ታ ህንተና እስባ ኦይቻና፥ ታዉ ኦድተ። ታ ቃስ ሀይሳ አይ ማታን ኦꬅያኮ፥ ህንተዉ ኦዳና።BSBBSB: “I will ask you one question,” Jesus replied, “and if you answer Me, I will tell you by what authority I am doing these things.
30. 30GOFEዮሃንሳ ፅንቃተይ ፆሳፈየ ዎይኮ አሳፔ? ታዉ ኦድተ” ያግስ።BSBBSB: John’s baptism—was it from heaven or from men? Answer Me!”
31. 31GOFEኤንቲ ባንታ ግዶን ፓላማ ዶምድ፥ “ኑኒ፥ ‘ፆሳፈ’ ጊኮ፥ እ ኑኮ፥ ‘ያትን፥ ዮሃንስ ኦድዳይሳ አይስ አማንበከቲ?’ ያጋና።BSBBSB: They deliberated among themselves what they should answer: “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ He will ask, ‘Why then did you not believe him?’
32. 32GOFE‘አሳፐ ጊኮ’ አሳ ኡባይ ዮሃንስ ናበ ግደይሳ ኤሮሶና።” ሄሳ ግሾ፥ አሳስ ያይዶሶና።BSBBSB: But if we say, ‘From men’...” they were afraid of the people, for they all held that John truly was a prophet.
33. 33GOFEሄሳ ግሾ፥ ኤንቲ የሱሳኮ፥ “ኑኒ ኤሮኮ” ያግድ ዛርዶሶና። የሱሲ፥ “ታንካ ሀይሳ አይ ማታን ኦꬅያኮ፥ ህንተዉ ኦድከ” ያግስ።BSBBSB: So they answered, “We do not know.” And Jesus replied, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I am doing these things.”
