1. 1GOFEኡሱፑን ጋላሳፐ ጉየ የሱሲ፥ ጰፅሮሳ፥ ያይቆባነ እያ እሻ ዮሃንሳ ባራ ኤክድ ባንታርካ ግዳናዉ ዙማ ቦላ ከይስ።BSBBSB: After six days Jesus took with Him Peter, James, and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves.
2. 2GOFEያን ኤንታ ስንꬃን የሱሳ ማላይ ኩመꬅ ላመትስ፤ እያ ሶምኦይካ አዋዳ ፆልቅስ። እያ ማኦይካ ዳሮ ቦፅስ።BSBBSB: There He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.
3. 3GOFEሄኮ፥ ሙሰይነ ኤልያስ እያራ ኦደትሽን በእዶሶና።BSBBSB: Suddenly Moses and Elijah appeared before them, talking with Jesus.
4. 4GOFEጰፅሮስ የሱሳኮ፥ “ኑኒ ሀይሳ ሀሹ ይዳ። ነ ኮይኮ እስኖ ነዉ፥ እስኖ ሙሰስ፥ እስኖ ኤልያሳስ ሀይሳን ሄꬑ ሻቃራ ሻቃራና” ያግስ።BSBBSB: Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here. If You wish, I will put up three shelters—one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”
5. 5GOFEጰፅሮስ ሄሳ ቡሮ ኦድሽን ቦꬃ ሻራይ ኤንታና ካምስ። ሻራ ግዶራ፥ “ታና ኡፋይስያ፥ ታ ዶስያ ናአይ ሀይሳ፥ እያ ስእተ!” ግያ ቃላይ ይስ።BSBBSB: While Peter was still speaking, a bright cloud enveloped them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Listen to Him!”
6. 6GOFEየሱሳ ታማረት ሄሳ ስእዳ ዎደ ዳጋምድ ባንታ ሶምኡዋራ ሳአን ኩንድዶሶና።BSBBSB: When the disciples heard this, they fell facedown in terror.
7. 7GOFEሽን የሱሲ ኤንታኮ ሺቅድ ኤንታ ቦችድ፥ “ደንድተ፥ ያዮፍተ!” ያግስ።BSBBSB: Then Jesus came over and touched them. “Get up,” He said. “Do not be afraid.”
8. 8GOFEኤንቲ ꬎቁ ግድ በእያ ዎደ የሱሳፐ ሀራ ኦናካ በእቦኮና።BSBBSB: And when they looked up, they saw no one except Jesus.
9. 9GOFEኤንቲ ዙማ ቦላፈ ዎꬍሽን የሱሲ ኤንታኮ፥ “አሳ ናአይ ሀይቆፐ ደንዳና ጋካናዉ ሀ ህንተ በእዳባ ኦደስካ ኦዶፕተ” ግድ ኪትስ።BSBBSB: As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus commanded them, “Do not tell anyone about this vision until the Son of Man has been raised from the dead.”
10. 10GOFEየሱሳ ታማረት፥ “ያትን፥ ህገ አስታማረት ኤልያስ ክርስቶሳፐ ካሰትድ ያና ግዳይ አይብሴ?” ያግድ ኦይችዶሶና።BSBBSB: The disciples asked Him, “Why then do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?”
11. 11GOFEየሱሲ ዛሪድ፥ “ኤ! ኤልያስ ካሰት ይድ ኡባባ ጊግሳና።BSBBSB: Jesus replied, “Elijah does indeed come, and he will restore all things.
12. 12GOFEሽን ታ ህንተዉ ቱማ ኦዳይስ፤ ኤልያስ ካሰትድ ይስ። ኤንትካ እያ ቦላ ኮይዳባ ኦꬅዶሶናፐ አትሽን፥ እያ ሻክ ኤርቦኮና። ሄሳዳ አሳ ናአይ ኤንታ ኩሸን ዋየታና” ያግስ።BSBBSB: But I tell you that Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him, but have done to him whatever they wished. In the same way, the Son of Man will suffer at their hands.”
13. 13GOFEሄ ዎደ የሱሲ ግዳይ ፃማቅያ ዮሃንሳባ ግደይሳ አኬክዶሶና።BSBBSB: Then the disciples understood that He was speaking to them about John the Baptist.
14. 14GOFEኤንቲ ደርያፐ አሳኮ ስምያ ዎደ እስ አስ የሱሳ ስንꬃን ጉልባትድ፥BSBBSB: When they came to the crowd, a man came up to Jesus and knelt before Him.
15. 15GOFE“ጎዳዉ፥ ሀያና ታ ናኣስ ቃታርክ፤ እያ ሾጭድ የግያ ሀርገይ ዳሮ ኡንኤꬅድ ታማንነ ሃꬃን የጌስ።BSBBSB: “Lord, have mercy on my son,” he said. “He has seizures and is suffering terribly. He often falls into the fire or into the water.
16. 16GOFEነ ታማረታኮ ኤሀስ፥ ሽን ኤንቲ ፓꬃናዉ ዳንዳእቦኮና” ያግስ።BSBBSB: I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not heal him.”
17. 17GOFEየሱሲ ዛሪድ፥ “ህንተኖ፥ አማኖና ጌላ የለተꬃዉ አዉደ ጋካናዉ ታ ህንተራ ዳኔ? አዉደ ጋካናዉ ታ ህንተና ዳንዳአኔ? አነ ናኣ ሃ ኤክ ዪተ” ያግስ።BSBBSB: “O unbelieving and perverse generation!” Jesus replied. “How long must I remain with you? How long must I put up with you? Bring the boy here to Me.”
18. 18GOFEየሱሲ ቱና አያና ሀንቅን፥ ቱና አያናይ ናኣፐ ከይስ፤ ሄ ሳተንካ ናአይ ፓፅስ።BSBBSB: Then Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed from that moment.
19. 19GOFEሄሳፈ ጉየ፥ የሱሳ ታማረት ባንታርካ እያኮ ሺቅድ፥ “ኑኒ ቱና አያና ከሳናዉ ዳንዳእቦናይ አይብሴ?” ያግድ ኦይችዶሶና።BSBBSB: Afterward the disciples came to Jesus privately and asked, “Why couldn’t we drive it out?”
20. 20GOFEእ ኤንታኮ፥ “ህንተዉ አማኖይ ላፍዳ ግሾሳ። ታ ህንተዉ ቱማ ኦዳይስ፤ ጋሸ አይፈ መላ አማኖይ ህንተዉ ደእኮ ‘ሀ ዙማ ሀይሳፈ ደንዳዳ ገደ አꬋ’ ጊኮ ህንተዉ ኪተታና። ህንተዉ ዳንዳኤቶናባይ ዴና።BSBBSB: “Because you have so little faith,” He answered. “For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

22. 22GOFEየሱሳ ታማረት ጋልላን ሺቅድ ደእሽን የሱሲ ኤንታኮ፥ “አሳ ናእ አሳ ኩሸን አꬍድ እመታና።BSBBSB: When they gathered together in Galilee, Jesus told them, “The Son of Man is about to be delivered into the hands of men.
23. 23GOFEኤንቲ እያ ዎꬋና፥ ሽን እ ሄꬓንꬆ ጋላስ ሀይቆፐ ደንዳና” ያግስ። እያ ታማረትካ ዳሮ ቂሮትዶሶና።BSBBSB: They will kill Him, and on the third day He will be raised to life.” And the disciples were deeply grieved.
24. 24GOFEየሱሳራነ እያ ታማረታራ ቅፍርናሆማ ካታማ ጋክዳ ዎደ ፆሳ ኬꬃ ጊራ ቃንፅሰይሳት ጰፅሮሳኮ ይድ፥ “ህንተ አስታማረይ ፆሳ ኬꬃ ጊራ ጊሪ?” ያግድ ኦይችዶሶና።BSBBSB: After they had arrived in Capernaum, the collectors of the two-drachma tax came to Peter and asked, “Does your Teacher pay the two drachmas?”
25. 25GOFEጰፅሮስ ዛሪድ፥ “ጊሬስ” ያግስ። ጰፅሮስ ሶ ገልያ ዎደ የሱሲ ካሰትድ፥ “ጰፅሮሳ፥ ነዉ አይ ዳኒ? ሀ ሳኣ ካዎተꬃት ቃራፃነ ጊራ ኦፐ ኤኮና? ጋደ አሳፐየ ዎይኮ አሳ ጋደ አሳፔ?” ያግድ ኦይችስ።BSBBSB: “Yes,” he answered. When Peter entered the house, Jesus preempted him. “What do you think, Simon?” He asked. “From whom do the kings of the earth collect customs and taxes: from their own sons, or from others?”
26. 26GOFEጰፅሮስ “አሳ ጋደ አሳፐ” ግድ ዛርስ። የሱሲ ዛሪድ፥ “ጋደ አሳይ ጊራ ጊሮኮና ጉሱ።BSBBSB: “From others,” Peter answered. “Then the sons are exempt,” Jesus said to him.
27. 27GOFEሽን ኤንቲ ꬉበቶና መላ አባ ባዳ ሞሎ ኦይካናዉ ማንፃቆ የጋ። ኮይሮ ነ ኦይክያ ሞሉዋ ዶና ዶያዳ ጊራስ ግድያ ሚሸ ነ ግሾነ ታ ግሾ ኤፋዳ ጊራ” ያግስ።BSBBSB: “But so that we may not offend them, go to the sea, cast a hook, and take the first fish you catch. When you open its mouth, you will find a four-drachma coin. Take it and give it to them for My tax and yours.”
