1. 1GOFEሄ ዎደ የሱሳ ታማረት ይድ፥ “ሳሎ ካዎተꬃን ኡባፈ አይ ኦኔ?” ያግድ ኦይችዶሶና።BSBBSB: At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who then is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”
2. 2GOFEየሱሲ እስ ጉꬃ ናአ ፄግድ ኤንታ ግዶን ኤስድ ሀይሳዳ ያግስ።BSBBSB: Jesus invited a little child to stand among them.
3. 3GOFE“ታኒ ህንተዉ ቱማ ኦዳይስ፤ ህንተ ላመቶናነ ጉꬃ ናይታዳ ሀኖና እፅኮ ሳሎ ካዎተꬃ ኡባራካ ገላናዉ ዳንዳኤከታ።BSBBSB: “Truly I tell you,” He said, “unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
4. 4GOFEህዛ፥ ሀ ጉꬃ ናአዳ ባና ካዉሽያ ኦንካ ሳሎ ካዎተꬃን ኡባፈ አይሳ ግዳና።BSBBSB: Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
5. 5GOFEሀይሳ መላ ናአ ታ ሱንꬃን ሞክያ ኦንካ ታና ሞኬስ።BSBBSB: And whoever welcomes a little child like this in My name welcomes Me.
6. 6GOFE“ሽን ታናን አማንያ ሀ ጉꬃታፐ እሱዋ ናጋራ ኦꬃና መላ ꬉበ ግድያ ኦንካ ግታ ጋቻ ዎፃ ባ ቆን ቃችድ ጪሞ አባን ምተትኮ እያዉ ሎኦ።BSBBSB: But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.
7. 7GOFEአላመን አሳይ ናጋራ ኦꬃና መላ ኦꬅያባት ደእያ ግሾ አላምያ አየ! ሄሳ መላባት ዮና አተና፥ ሽን ꬉበይ እያ ጋሶን ያ ኡራ አየ!BSBBSB: Woe to the world for the causes of sin. These stumbling blocks must come, but woe to the man through whom they come!
8. 8GOFE“ነ ኩሸይ ዎይኮ ነ ቶሆይ ነና ባለꬅኮ ኔፐ ቃንፃ የጋ። ኔኒ ናምኡ ኩሸራ ዎይኮ ናምኡ ቶሆራ መርና ታማን የገታናፐ ኩሸ ዎይኮ ቶሆ ዱፃ ግዳዳ መርና ደኦ ደመይስ ነዉ ሎኦ።BSBBSB: If your hand or your foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life crippled or lame than to have two hands and two feet and be thrown into the eternal fire.
9. 9GOFEቃስ ነ አይፈይ ነና ባለꬅኮ እዮ ዎጫ ከሳዳ ዎራ ሆላ። ኔኒ ናምኡ አይፈራ ጋናመ ታማን የገተይሳፈ እስ አይፈራ መርና ደኡዋ ገለይስ ነዉ ሎኦ።BSBBSB: And if your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell.
10. 10GOFE“ታ ህንተዉ ኦዳይስ፤ ሳሎን ደእያ ኤንታ ናግያ ኪታንቾት ኡባ ዎደ ሳሎን ደእያ ታ አዋ ስንꬃን ደእያ ግሾ፥ ህንተ ሀ ጉꬃታፐ እሱዋካ ካꬎና መላ ናገትተ።BSBBSB: See that you do not look down on any of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of My Father in heaven.

12. 12GOFEቃስ የሱሲ፥ “ህንተዉ አይ ዳኒ? እስ ኡራስ ፄቱ ዶርሳት ደኤይሳታፐ እሶይ ꬋይኮ ኡዱፉን ታማነ ኡዱፉናታ ደርያ ቦላ የግ አግድ ሄ ꬋይዳይሳ ኮያናዉ ቤኔ?BSBBSB: What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them goes astray, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go out to search for the one that is lost?
13. 13GOFEታ ቱማ ኦዳይስ፤ እ ደምዳ ዎደ ኡዱፉን ታማነ ኡዱፉናታፐ አꬅድ ꬋይድ በንትዳ እስ ዶርሳ ግሾ ኡፋይቴስ።BSBBSB: And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he rejoices more over that one sheep than over the ninety-nine that did not go astray.
14. 14GOFEሄሳዳካ፥ ሳሎን ደእያ ህንተ አዋይ ሀ ጉꬃታፐ እሶይ ꬋያና መላ ኮየና።BSBBSB: In the same way, your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should perish.
15. 15GOFE“ነ እሻይ ነና ቆህኮ ነርካ እያኮ ባዳ እያ ቆሁዋ እያዉ ኦዳ። እ ነና ስእኮ እያ ነዉ እሻ ኦꬃ።BSBBSB: If your brother sins against you, go and confront him privately. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over.
16. 16GOFEሽን እ ነና ስኦና እፅኮ፥ ናምኡ ዎይኮ ሄꬑ አሳ ማርካን ሞቶይ ላሰትያ ግሾ፥ እስ ዎይኮ ናምኡ አስ ኤካዳ እያኮ ባ።BSBBSB: But if he will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’
17. 17GOFEእ ኤንታና ስኦና እፅኮ፥ ዎሳ ኬꬃስ ኦዳ። ዎሳ ኬꬅ ግያባ ስኦና እፅኮ አማኖና አሳዳ ዎይኮ ቃራፃ ቃንፅስያ አሳዳ እያ ፓይዳ።BSBBSB: If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church. And if he refuses to listen even to the church, regard him as you would a pagan or a tax collector.
18. 18GOFE“ታ ህንተዉ ቱማ ኦዳይስ፤ ሳአን ህንተ ድግያባት ኡባይ ሳሎን ፆሳ ማታን ድገትዳባ ግዳና። ሳአን ህንተ ሀኖ ግያባት ኡባይ ሳሎን ፆሳ ማታን ሀንዳባ ግዳና።BSBBSB: Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
19. 19GOFE“ቃስካ ታ ህንተዉ ኦዳይስ፤ ሳአን ህንተፈ ናምአይ ባንታ ዎስያባስ እስ ዎዛናን ግድድ ፆሳ ዎስያባ ግድኮ ሳሎን ደእያ ታ አዋይ ህንተዉ ኦꬃና።BSBBSB: Again, I tell you truly that if two of you on the earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by My Father in heaven.
20. 20GOFEታና ካለይሳታፐ ናምአ ዎይኮ ሄꬓ ግድድ ሺቅያ በሳን ታኒ ኤንታ ግዶን በንታና” ያግስ።BSBBSB: For where two or three gather together in My name, there am I with them.”
21. 21GOFEሄ ዎደ ጰፅሮስ የሱሳኮ ይድ፥ “ጎዳዉ፥ ታ እሻይ ታና ቆህኮ አፑን ቶሆ ታኒ አቶ ጋናዉ በሲ? ላፑን ቶሆ ጋካናሰዬ?” ግድ ኦይችስ።BSBBSB: Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother who sins against me? Up to seven times?”
22. 22GOFEየሱሲ ዛሪድ፥ “ግደና፥ ላፑን ታሙ ቶሆ ላፑናፐ አትሽን፥ ላፑን ቶሆ ግደና።BSBBSB: Jesus answered, “I tell you, not just seven times, but seventy-seven times!
23. 23GOFE“ሄሳ ግሾ፥ ፆሳ ካዎተꬃይ ባ ኦሳንቾታራ ባ ሚሸይ ፓጭዳኮነ ፓላህዳኮ በአናዉ ቆፕዳ ካዋ ዳኔስ።BSBBSB: Because of this, the kingdom of heaven is like a king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants.
24. 24GOFEሄ ካዎይ ሚሸይ ፓጭዳኮነ ፓላህዳኮ በእያ ዎደ ዳሮ ግንድግንዳ አጮይ ደእያ እስ ኡራ እያኮ ኤህዶሶና።BSBBSB: As he began the settlements, a debtor owing ten thousand talents was brought to him.
25. 25GOFEሽን ሄ አይለይ አጩዋ ቃንፃናዉ ፆነትን እያራ፥ እያ ማቸራ፥ እያ ናይትነ እያዉ ደእያባይ ኡባይ ባይዘትድ አጮይ ጭገታና መላ እያ ጎዳይ ኪትስ።BSBBSB: Since the man was unable to pay, the master ordered that he be sold to pay his debt, along with his wife and children and everything he owned.
26. 26GOFEያትን አይለይ ባ ጎዳ ቶሁዋ ቦላ ጉልባትድ፥ ‘ታ ጎዳዉ፥ ሀያና ጉꬃ ዎደ ታካርክ፥ ታ አጩዋ ኡባ ታ ጭጋና’ ያግድ ዎስስ።BSBBSB: Then the servant fell on his knees before him. ‘Have patience with me,’ he begged, ‘and I will pay back everything.’
27. 27GOFEካዎይ እያዉ ቃትድ፥ የድ አግስ፤ እያ አጩዋ ማርስ።BSBBSB: His master had compassion on him, forgave his debt, and released him.
28. 28GOFE“ሽን ሄ አይለይ ከይ ብድ ባ ላገ ኦሳንቾታፐ እሶይ ባፐ ዳሮ ጉꬃ ሚሸ ታልእዳይሳ፥ ‘ነ ቦላ ደእያ ታ ሚሽያ ታዉ ጭጋ’ ግድ ቆ ኦይክስ።BSBBSB: But when that servant went out, he found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii. He grabbed him and began to choke him, saying, ‘Pay back what you owe me!’
29. 29GOFE“ሄ እያ ላገ አይሌይ እያ ስንꬃን ጉልባትድ፥ ‘ሀያና ጉꬃ ዎደ ታካርክ ታኒ ታ አጩዋ ኡባ ጭጋና’ ያግድ ዎስስ።BSBBSB: So his fellow servant fell down and begged him, ‘Have patience with me, and I will pay you back.’
30. 30GOFE“ሽን እፅድ ኤክ ኤፍድ ባ ላገይ አጩዋ ቃንፃና ጋካናዉ ቃሾ ኬꬅ ገልስስ።BSBBSB: But he refused. Instead, he went and had the man thrown into prison until he could pay his debt.
31. 31GOFEሄሳ ግሾ፥ ሀራ ላገ ኦሳንቾት ሄሳ በእዳ ዎደ ዳሮ ይሎትድ፥ ብድ ባንታ ጎዳስ እ ኦꬅዳባ ኡባ ኦድዶሶና።BSBBSB: When his fellow servants saw what had happened, they were greatly distressed, and they went and recounted all of this to their master.
32. 32GOFE“ያትን ካዎይ ሄ አይልያ ፄግስድ፥ ‘ሀ ኢታ አይልያዉ፥ ኔኒ ታና ዎስዳ ግሾ፥ ታ ነ አጩዋ ኡባ ነዉ ማራስ።BSBBSB: Then the master summoned him and said, ‘You wicked servant! I forgave all your debt because you begged me.
33. 33GOFEያትን፥ ታኒ ነ አጩዋ ማርዳይሳዳ ኔኒ ነ ላገ አይልያ አጩዋ ማራናዉ ነዉ በሰኔ?’ ያግስ።BSBBSB: Shouldn’t you have had mercy on your fellow servant, just as I had on you?’
34. 34GOFEሄሳ ግሾ፥ ካዎይ ዳሮ ይሎትድ፥ እ ባ አጩዋ ኡባ ጭጋና ጋካናዉ ፓፃ ካኤታና መላ ቃሾ ኬꬃን የግስ።BSBBSB: In anger his master turned him over to the jailers to be tortured, until he should repay all that he owed.
35. 35GOFE“ሄሳዳካ፥ ህንተ እሶይ እሶይ ህንተ እሻ ዎዛናፐ ማሮና እፅኮ ሳሎን ደእያ ታ አዋይ ህንተና ሄሳዳ ኦꬃና” ያግስ።BSBBSB: That is how My heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother from your heart.”
