1. 1GOFEየሱሲ ሀ ትምርትያ ኡባ ዉርስዳ ዎደ ባ ታማረታኮ፥BSBBSB: When Jesus had finished saying all these things, He told His disciples,
2. 2GOFE“ናምኡ ጋላሳፐ ጉየ፥ ፓስካ ባኣለ ቦንችያ ጋላስ ግደይሳ ኤሬታ። ሄ ጋላስ አሳ ናእ ማስቃለ ቦላ ካቀታናዉ አሳ ኩሸን አꬍድ እመታና” ያግስ።BSBBSB: “You know that the Passover is two days away, and the Son of Man will be handed over to be crucified.”
3. 3GOFEሄ ዎደ ካህነ ሀላቃትነ ጭማት፥ ቃያፋ ጌተትያ ካህነ ሀላቃ ኬꬃን ሺቅድ፥BSBBSB: At that time the chief priests and elders of the people assembled in the courtyard of the high priest, whose name was Caiaphas,
4. 4GOFEአስ ኤሮና የሱሳ ኦይክድ፥ ዎꬋናዉ ማቀትዶሶና።BSBBSB: and they conspired to arrest Jesus covertly and kill Him.
5. 5GOFEሽን ኤንቲ፥ “አሳይ ኦሽ ከሶና መላ ግድ፥ ፓስካ ቦንችያ ጋላስ ሄሳ ኦꬆኮ” ያግዶሶና።BSBBSB: “But not during the feast,” they said, “or there may be a riot among the people.”
6. 6GOFEየሱሲ ብታነ ካታማን ባሮ ሀርግዳ ስሞና ሶን ደኤስ።BSBBSB: While Jesus was in Bethany in the home of Simon the Leper,
7. 7GOFEየሱሲ እማቱዋ ቦላ ደእሽን እስ ማጫስያ አልባስፅሮሳ ብልቃፀ ኩመꬃ ዳሮ አልኦ ሽቶ ኤካ ያዳ የሱሳ ሁጰን ትጋሱ።BSBBSB: a woman came to Him with an alabaster jar of expensive perfume, which she poured on His head as He reclined at the table.
8. 8GOFEሽን የሱሳ ታማረት ሄሳ በእድ ሀንቀትድ፥ “ሀ ሽቶይ ጮ ኢተይ አይብሴ?BSBBSB: When the disciples saw this, they were indignant and asked, “Why this waste?
9. 9GOFEሀ ሽቶይ አልኦ ጋተን ባይዘትድ፥ ሚሸይ ማንቆታስ እመታናዉ ዳንዳኤቴስ” ያግዶሶና።BSBBSB: This perfume could have been sold at a high price, and the money given to the poor.”
10. 10GOFEየሱሲ ኤንቲ ገይሳ ኤርድ፥ ኤንታኮ፥ “ሀ ማጫስዉ አይስ ዋይሰቲ? እያ ታዉ ሎኦባ ኦꬃሱ።BSBBSB: Aware of this, Jesus asked, “Why are you bothering this woman? She has done a beautiful deed to Me.
11. 11GOFEማንቆት ኡባ ዎደ ህንተራ ዳና። ሽን ታኒ ህንተራ ኡባ ዎደ ደእከ።BSBBSB: The poor you will always have with you, but you will not always have Me.
12. 12GOFEእያ ሀ ሽቱዋ ታ ቦላ ትግዳይስ ታና ሞጋናዉ ጊግሳናሳ።BSBBSB: By pouring this perfume on Me, she has prepared My body for burial.
13. 13GOFEታኒ ህንተዉ ቱማ ኦዳይስ፤ ቢታ ኡባን ሀ ዎንገላይ ሳባከትያ በሳን አዉንካ፥ አሳይ እዮ ሀሳያና መላ እያ ኦꬅዳይስ ኦደታና” ያግስ።BSBBSB: Truly I tell you, wherever this gospel is preached in all the world, what she has done will also be told in memory of her.”
14. 14GOFEሄ ዎደ ታማነ ናምኡ የሱሳ ታማረታፐ እሶይ፥ አስቆሮታ ይሁዳ ጌተተይስ ካህነ ሀላቃታኮ፥BSBBSB: Then one of the Twelve, the one called Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests
15. 15GOFEብድ፥ “ታኒ ህንተዉ የሱሳ አꬃ እምኮ፥ ህንተ ታዉ አይ እማኔ?” ያግድ ኤንታ ኦይችስ። ኤንቲ ዞረትድ ሀስታሙ ብራ ሳንትመ እምዶሶና።BSBBSB: and asked, “What are you willing to give me if I hand Him over to you?” And they set out for him thirty pieces of silver.
16. 16GOFEሄሳፈ ጉየ፥ ይሁድ የሱሳ አꬅድ እማናዉ እንጀትያ ዎደ ዎቼስ።BSBBSB: So from then on Judas looked for an opportunity to betray Jesus.
17. 17GOFEኡይꬃ ባኣለ ቦንችያ ኮይሮ ጋላስ፥ የሱሳ ታማረት እያኮ ይድ፥ “ፓስካ ቦንችያ ጋላስ ኔኒ ማና ካꬅ ኑኒ አዉን ጊግስኖ?” ያግዶሶና።BSBBSB: On the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Where do You want us to prepare for You to eat the Passover?”
18. 18GOFEየሱሲ ኤንታኮ፥ “ካታማን ደእያ አድያኮ ብድ፥ ‘አስታማረይ፥ ታዉ ዎደይ ጋክዳ ግሾ፥ ታ ታማረታራ ፓስካ ቦንችያ ጋላሳ ነ ሶን አꬃና ያጌስ’ ያግተ” ያግስ።BSBBSB: He answered, “Go into the city to a certain man and tell him that the Teacher says, ‘My time is near. I will keep the Passover with My disciples at your house.’”
19. 19GOFEእያ ታማረት የሱሲ ባንታና ኪትዳይሳዳ ኦꬅድ፥ ፓስካ ባኣለ ጋላስ ማና ካꬃ ጊግስዶሶና።BSBBSB: So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them and prepared the Passover.
20. 20GOFEሳአይ ኦማርስያ ዎደ፥ የሱሲ ታማነ ናምኡ ሀዋረታራ ካꬅ ማናዉ ኡትስ።BSBBSB: When evening came, Jesus was reclining with the twelve disciples.
21. 21GOFEኤንቲ ምሽን፥ የሱሲ ኤንታኮ፥ “ታኒ ህንተዉ ቱማ ኦዳይስ፤ ህንተፈ እስ ኡራይ ታና አꬅድ እማና” ያግስ።BSBBSB: And while they were eating, He said to them, “Truly I tell you, one of you will betray Me.”
22. 22GOFEኤንቲ ዳሮ ዳጋምድ፥ እሶይ እሶይ፥ “ጎዳዉ፥ ቱማ ታነሻ?” ግድ እያ ኦይችዶሶና።BSBBSB: They were deeply grieved and began to ask Him one after another, “Surely not I, Lord?”
23. 23GOFEየሱሲ ዛሪድ፥ “ባ ኩሽያ ታራ እስፈ ሻትያን የደይስ እ ታና አꬅድ እማና።BSBBSB: Jesus answered, “The one who has dipped his hand into the bowl with Me will betray Me.
24. 24GOFEአሳ ናአይ፥ ፆሳ ቃላን እያዉ ፃፈትዳይሳዳ ሀይቃና። ሽን አሳ ናኣ አꬅድ እምያ ኡራ አየ! ሄ ኡራይ የለቶና አትዳኮ እያዉ ሎኦሽን” ያግስ።BSBBSB: The Son of Man will go just as it is written about Him, but woe to that man by whom He is betrayed. It would be better for him if he had not been born.”
25. 25GOFEእያ አꬅድ እማናዉ ደእያ ይሁድ ዛሪድ፥ “አስታማርያዉ፥ ኔኒ ገይ ታነዬ?” ያግስ። የሱሲ ዛሪድ፥ “ኔኒ ነ ሁጰን ጋዳሳ” ያግስ።BSBBSB: Then Judas, who would betray Him, said, “Surely not I, Rabbi?” Jesus answered, “You have said it yourself.”
26. 26GOFEኤንቲ ምሽን፥ የሱሲ ኡይꬃ ኤክድ ፆሳ ጋላትስ። ሄ ኡይꬃ መንꬅድ ባ ታማረታስ እምድ፥ “ሄእተ፥ ሚተ፥ ሀይስ ታ አሹዋ” ያግስ።BSBBSB: While they were eating, Jesus took bread, spoke a blessing and broke it, and gave it to the disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is My body.”
27. 27GOFEፁኣ ኤክድ፥ ፆሳ ጋላትስ። ኤንታዉ እምድ፥ “ኡባይ ሀይሳፈ ኡይተ።BSBBSB: Then He took the cup, gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you.
28. 28GOFEሀይስ ዳሮ አሳ ናጋራ አቶተꬃስ መላ ጉክያ ታ ሱꬃ። ሀ ሱꬃይ ፆሳይ ህንተራ ገልያ ጫቁዋ ምንይሳ።BSBBSB: This is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
29. 29GOFEሽን ታኒ ህንተዉ ኦዳይስ፤ ታኒ ታ አዋ ካዎተꬃን ኦራꬃ ዎይነ ኡሻ ህንተራ ኡያና ጋላሳ ጋካናዉ ናምአንꬆ ሀ ዎይነ ኡሻ ኡይከ” ያግስ።BSBBSB: I tell you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it anew with you in My Father’s kingdom.”
30. 30GOFEጋላታ ማዝሙረ የፅዳፐ ጉየ፥ ሻማሆ ዙማ ብዶሶና።BSBBSB: And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.
31. 31GOFEሄ ዎደ የሱሲ ኤንታኮ፥ “ ‘ፆሳይ ሄንꬃንቹዋ ሾጫና ዶርሳትካ ላለታና’ ጌተትድ ፆሳ ቃላን ፃፈትዳይሳ መላ ሀች ቃማ ህንተ ኡባይ ታና አግድ ባቃታና።BSBBSB: Then Jesus said to them, “This very night you will all fall away on account of Me. For it is written: ‘I will strike the Shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.’
32. 32GOFEሽን ታኒ ሀይቆፐ ደንድዳፐ ጉየ ህንተፈ ስንꬃታዳ ጋልላ ባና” ያግስ።BSBBSB: But after I have risen, I will go ahead of you into Galilee.”
33. 33GOFEጰፅሮስ ዛሪድ፥ “ኤንቲ ኡባይ ነና አግድ ባቃትኮካ፥ ታኒ ነና አግከ” ያግስ።BSBBSB: Peter said to Him, “Even if all fall away on account of You, I never will.”
34. 34GOFEየሱሲ ጰፅሮሳኮ፥ “ታኒ ነዉ ቱማ ኦዳይስ፤ ሀች ቃማ ኩቶይ ዋሳናፐ ስን ኔኒ ታና ሄꬑ ቶሆ ካዳና” ያግስ።BSBBSB: “Truly I tell you,” Jesus declared, “this very night, before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.”
35. 35GOFEጰፅሮስ ዛሪድ፥ “ታኒ ኔራ እስፈ ሀይቆፐ አትሽን፥ ነና ኡባካ ካድከ” ያግስ። ሀንኮ እያ ታማረት ኡባይካ ሄሳዳ ግዶሶና።BSBBSB: Peter replied, “Even if I have to die with You, I will never deny You.” And all the other disciples said the same thing.
36. 36GOFEያትድ፥ የሱሲ ባ ታማረታራ ጌታሰማነ ጌተትያ በሳ ብድ፥ ኤንታኮ፥ “ታኒ ህን ባዳ ፆሳ ዎሳሻና፥ ህንተ ሀይሳን ኡትተ” ያግስ።BSBBSB: Then Jesus went with His disciples to a place called Gethsemane, and He told them, “Sit here while I go over there and pray.”
37. 37GOFEጰፅሮሳነ ዛብድዮሳ ናይታ ናምአታ ባራ ኤክ ብድ ዳሮ አዛኖነ ኡንኤተꬅ ዶምስ።BSBBSB: He took with Him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee and began to be sorrowful and deeply distressed.
38. 38GOFEቃስካ ኤንታኮ፥ “ታኒ ሀይቆስ ጋꬅያ ኡንአ ኡንኤታስ። ሀይሳን ታራ ጋምእተነ ምንድ ናግተ” ያግስ።BSBBSB: Then He said to them, “My soul is consumed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with Me.”
39. 39GOFEጉꬅ ስን ብድ ቢታን ጉፋንድ፥ “ታ አዋዉ፥ ዳንዳኤትያባ ግድኮ ሀ ዋየ ፁኣ ታፐ ድጋ። ሽን ነ ሸነይ ሀኖፐ አትሽን፥ ታ ሸነይ ሀኖፖ” ያግድ ፆሳ ዎስስ።BSBBSB: Going a little farther, He fell facedown and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me. Yet not as I will, but as You will.”
40. 40GOFEየሱሲ ባ ታማረታኮ ስም ይድ ኤንቲ ꬍስክዳሽን ደምስ። ጰፅሮሳኮ፥ “ህንተ እስ ሳተኮካ ꬍስኮና ታራ ምናናዉ ዳንዳእቤከቲ?BSBBSB: Then Jesus returned to the disciples and found them sleeping. “Were you not able to keep watch with Me for one hour?” He asked Peter.
41. 41GOFEፓጨን ህንተ ገሎና መላ ባርክድ ናግተነ ፆሳ ዎስተ። ህንተዉ ሎኦ አሞይ ደኤስ፥ ሽን ህንተ ዳቡራንቾ አስ” ያግስ።BSBBSB: “Watch and pray so that you will not enter into temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak.”
42. 42GOFEየሱሲ ቃስ ናምአንꬆ ብድ፥ “ታ አዋዉ፥ ታኒ ሀ ዋየ ፁአፐ ኡዮና ደእሸ አꬋናዉ ዳንዳኤቶናባ ግድኮ ነ ሸነይ ሀኖ” ያግድ ፆሳ ዎስስ።BSBBSB: A second time He went away and prayed, “My Father, if this cup cannot pass unless I drink it, may Your will be done.”
43. 43GOFEቃስካ ስም ያ ዎደ እያ ታማረታ አይፍያ ꬍስኮይ ጎዝን፥ ዝንእዳሽን ደምስ።BSBBSB: And again Jesus returned and found them sleeping, for their eyes were heavy.
44. 44GOFEቃስካ ኤንታ አግድ፥ ብድ ካሰ ቃላ ዛር ሄꬓንꬆ ዎስስ።BSBBSB: So He left them and went away once more and prayed a third time, saying the same thing.
45. 45GOFEሄሳፈ ጉየ፥ ባ ታማረታኮ ይድ፥ “ሀእ ጋካናዉ ꬍስከትነ ሸምፐቲ? ሄኮ፥ አሳ ናእ፥ ናጋራንቾታ ኩሸን አꬍድ እመትያ ሳተይ ጋክስ።BSBBSB: Then He returned to the disciples and said, “Are you still sleeping and resting? Look, the hour is near, and the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
46. 46GOFEደንድድ የꬍተ፥ ታና አꬅድ እመይስ ሀይስሽ ጋክስ” ያግስ።BSBBSB: Rise, let us go! See, My betrayer is approaching!”
47. 47GOFEየሱሲ ቡሮ ሄሳ ሃሳይሽን፥ ታማነ ናምኡ ታማረታፐ እሶይ፥ ይሁድ ጋክ ዎꬍስ። ካህነ ሀላቃትነ ደርያ ጭማት ኪትዳ ዳሮ አሳት ማሸነ ፃምአ ኦይክድ እያራ እስፈ ይዶሶና።BSBBSB: While Jesus was still speaking, Judas, one of the Twelve, arrived, accompanied by a large crowd armed with swords and clubs, sent from the chief priests and elders of the people.
48. 48GOFEየሱሳ አꬅድ እምያ ይሁድ ሄ ዳሮ አሳኮ፥ “ታኒ ዬረይስ ህንተ ኮየይስ እያ፥ እያ ኦይክተ” ያግድ ማላ እም ዎꬅስ።BSBBSB: Now the betrayer had arranged a signal with them: “The One I kiss is the man; arrest Him.”
49. 49GOFEኢራካ የሱሳኮ ሺቅድ፥ “አስታማርያዉ፥ ሳሮ ደአይ” ያግድ እያ ዬርስ።BSBBSB: Going directly to Jesus, he said, “Greetings, Rabbi!” and kissed Him.
50. 50GOFEየሱሲ እያኮ፥ “ታ ላግያዉ፥ ኔኒ ኦꬃናባ ኦꬃ አጋ” ያግስ። ሄሳፈ ጉየ፥ ሺቅድ፥ የሱሳ ኦይክዶሶና።BSBBSB: “Friend,” Jesus replied, “do what you came for.” Then the men stepped forward, seized Jesus, and arrested Him.
51. 51GOFEየሱሳራ ደኤይሳታፐ እሶይ ባ ማሻ ሾድድ ካህነ ሀላቃ አይልያ ሾጭድ፥ እያ ሀይꬃ ቃንፅድ የግስ።BSBBSB: At this, one of Jesus’ companions drew his sword and struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his ear.
52. 52GOFEሽን የሱሲ፥ “ነ ማሻ ጉየ ሾሁዋን ዛራ። አይስ ጊኮ፥ ማሻ ሾድያ ኡባይ ማሻን ሀይቃና።BSBBSB: “Put your sword back in its place,” Jesus said to him. “For all who draw the sword will die by the sword.
53. 53GOFEታ፥ ታ አዋ ዎስያኮ ዳሮ ሙኩሉን ታይበትያ ኪታንቾታ የዳናዉ ዳንዳኦናባ ነዉ ዳኒ?BSBBSB: Are you not aware that I can call on My Father, and He will at once put at My disposal more than twelve legions of angels?
54. 54GOFEያትን፥ ፆሳ ቃላን ሄሳዳ ሀናናዉ በሴስ ጌተትዳይስ ዋንድ ፖለታኔ?” ያግስ።BSBBSB: But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen this way?”
55. 55GOFEሄ ሳትያን፥ የሱሲ ሄ ሺቅዳ ዳሮ አሳኮ፥ “ታና ፓንጋ ኦꬅድ ኦይካናዉ ማሻነ ፃምአ ኦይክድ ይደቲ? ታኒ ፆሳ ኬꬃን ጋላስ ጋላስ ታማርሳሸ ህንተራ ደእያ ዎደ ታና ኦይክቤከታ።BSBBSB: At that time Jesus said to the crowd, “Have you come out with swords and clubs to arrest Me as you would an outlaw? Every day I sat teaching in the temple courts, and you did not arrest Me.
56. 56GOFEሽን ሀይስ ኡባይ ሀንዳይስ ናበት ፆሳ ቃላን ፃፍዳይስ ፖለታና መላሳ” ያግስ። ሄ ዎደ እያ ታማረት ኡባይ እያ አግድ ባቃትዶሶና።BSBBSB: But this has all happened so that the writings of the prophets would be fulfilled.” Then all the disciples deserted Him and fled.
57. 57GOFEየሱሳ ኦይክዳይሳት ካህነ ሀላቃ ቃያፋኮ እያ ኤፍዶሶና። ያን ህገ አስታማረትነ ቢታ ጭማት ሺቅድ ደኦሶና።BSBBSB: Those who had arrested Jesus led Him away to the house of Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and elders had gathered.
58. 58GOFEሽን ጰፅሮስ ካህነ ሀላቃ ዛባ ጋካናዉ ሃሆን እያ ካልስ። እያ ዉርሰꬃይ ሻከታና ጋካናዉ ዛባ ገልድ ናገይሳታራ ኡትስ።BSBBSB: But Peter followed Him at a distance, right up to the courtyard of the high priest. And he went in and sat down with the guards to see the outcome.
59. 59GOFEካህነ ሀላቃትነ ሺቅዳ አሳ ኡባይ የሱሳ ዎꬋናዉ እያ ቦላ ዎርዶ ማርካ ኮይዶሶና።BSBBSB: Now the chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin were seeking false testimony against Jesus in order to put Him to death.
60. 60GOFEዳሮት ይድ እያ ቦላ ዎርዶ ማርካ ማርካትዶሶና፥ ሽን አይኮካ ደምቦኮና። ጉየፐ ናምኡ አሳት ይድ፥BSBBSB: But they did not find any, though many false witnesses came forward. Finally two came forward
61. 61GOFE“ሀ ኡራይ፥ ‘ታኒ ፆሳ ኬꬃ ላላዳ ሄꬑ ጋላሳን ዛራ ኬፃናዉ ዳንዳአይስ’ ያግስ” ያግዶሶና።BSBBSB: and declared, “This man said, ‘I am able to destroy the temple of God and rebuild it in three days.’”
62. 62GOFEካህነታ ሀላቃይ ደንድ ኤቅድ የሱሳኮ፥ “ሀይሳቲ ነና ሞትያ ሞቱዋስ ኔኒ ዛርያባይ ባዌ?” ያግስ።BSBBSB: So the high priest stood up and asked Him, “Have You no answer? What are these men testifying against You?”
63. 63GOFEሽን የሱሲ ስእ ግስ። ቃስካ ካህነ ሀላቃይ፥ “ታኒ ነና ደኦ ፆሳ ሱንꬃን ኦይካይስ፤ ኔኒ ፆሳ ናኣ ክርስቶሳ ግድኮ ኑስ ኦዳ” ያግስ።BSBBSB: But Jesus remained silent. Then the high priest said to Him, “I charge You under oath by the living God: Tell us if You are the Christ, the Son of God.”
64. 64GOFEየሱሲ ዛሪድ፥ “ኔኒ ነ ሁጰንካ ጋዳሳ። ሽን ታኒ ህንተዉ ኦዳይስ፤ ህዛፐ ጉየ፥ አሳ ናአይ ዎልቃማ ፆሳ ኡሻቻ ባጋን ኡትዳሽን፥ ቃስ ሳሎ ሻራራ ይሽን ህንተ በአና” ያግስ።BSBBSB: “You have said it yourself,” Jesus answered. “But I say to all of you, from now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power and coming on the clouds of heaven.”
65. 65GOFEሄ ዎደ ካህነ ሀላቃይ ዳሮ ይሎትድ ባ ማኡዋ ፔꬍድ፥ “ሀይሳ በእተ ፆሳ ጫይስ! ኑና ሀራ ማርካ አይ ኮሺ? እ ሀእ ጫይዳይሳ ህንተ ስእደታ።BSBBSB: At this, the high priest tore his clothes and declared, “He has blasphemed! Why do we need any more witnesses? Look, now you have heard the blasphemy.
66. 66GOFEህንተ ቆፋይ አይቤ?” ያግስ። ኤንትካ፥ “እያዉ ሀይቆ በሴስ” ያግድ ዛርዶሶና።BSBBSB: What do you think?” “He deserves to die,” they answered.
67. 67GOFEያትን፥ ኤንቲ እያ ሶምኦን ጩትድ ደችዶሶና። ሀራት እያ ባቅድ፥BSBBSB: Then they spit in His face and struck Him. Others slapped Him
68. 68GOFE“ክርስቶሳ! ነና ደችዳይ ኦኔ? አነ ኑስ ኦዳ” ያግዶሶና።BSBBSB: and said, “Prophesy to us, Christ! Who hit You?”
69. 69GOFEጰፅሮስ ዛባን ኡትዳሽን፥ እስ አይልያ እያኮ ያዳ፥ “ኔንካ ጋልላ የሱሳራ እስፈ ደኣሳ” ያጋሱ።BSBBSB: Meanwhile, Peter was sitting out in the courtyard, and a servant girl came up to him. “You also were with Jesus the Galilean,” she said.
70. 70GOFEሽን እ ኤንታ ኡባ ስንꬃን ሄ አይለኮ፥ “ኔኒ ግያባይ አይበኮ ታኒ ኤርከ” ያግድ ካድስ።BSBBSB: But he denied it before them all: “I do not know what you are talking about.”
71. 71GOFEቃስ ብድ ድርሳ ፐንገኮ ጋክሽን ሀራ አይልያ እያ በአዳ፥ ያን ደእያ አሳኮ፥ “ሀ ኡራይ ናዝረተ የሱሳራ ደኤስ” ያጋሱ።BSBBSB: When Peter had gone out to the gateway, another servant girl saw him and said to the people there, “This man was with Jesus of Nazareth.”
72. 72GOFEጰፅሮስ ናምአንꬆ ጫቅድ፥ “ታኒ ሄ ኡራ ኤርከ!” ያግስ።BSBBSB: And again he denied it with an oath: “I do not know the man!”
73. 73GOFEጉꬁ ጋምእሽን፥ ያን ኤቅዳ አሳት ጰፅሮሳኮ ይድ፥ “ነካ ቱማ ኤንታራ እስፈ ደኣሳ፤ ኔኒ ነ ኦዳን ኤረታሳ” ያግዶሶና።BSBBSB: After a little while, those standing nearby came up to Peter. “Surely you are one of them,” they said, “for your accent gives you away.”
74. 74GOFEሄሳፈ ጉየ፥ ጰፅሮስ፥ “ታኒ ሄ ኡራ ኤርከ!” ያግድ፥ ባና ባደꬅነ ጫቆ ዶምስ። ሄ ዎደ ኢራካ ኩቶይ ዋስ አግስ።BSBBSB: At that he began to curse and swear to them, “I do not know the man!” And immediately a rooster crowed.
75. 75GOFEየሱሲ እያኮ፥ “ኔኒ ኩቶይ ዋሳናፐ ስን ታና ሄꬑ ቶሆ ካዳና” ግዳይሳ ጰፅሮስ አኬክድ፥ ካረ ከይድ ኢታ ዬሆ ዬክስ።BSBBSB: Then Peter remembered the word that Jesus had spoken: “Before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.” And he went outside and wept bitterly.
