Exodus 35 (LXX)

1ΚΑΙ συνήθροισε Μωυσῆς πᾶσαν συναγωγὴν υἱῶν Ἰσραὴλ καὶ εἶπεν· οὗτοι οἱ λόγοι, οὓς εἶπε Κύριος ποιῆσαι αὐτούς.Then Moses assembled the whole congregation of Israel and said to them, “These are the things that the LORD has commanded you to do:

2ἓξ ἡμέρας ποιήσεις ἔργα, τῇ δὲ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ ἑβδόμῃ κατάπαυσις, ἅγια σάββατα, ἀνάπαυσις Κυρίῳ· πᾶς ὁ ποιῶν ἔργον ἐν αὐτῇ τελευτάτω.For six days work may be done, but the seventh day shall be your holy day, a Sabbath of complete rest to the LORD. Whoever does any work on that day must be put to death.

3οὐ καύσετε πῦρ ἐν πάσῃ κατοικίᾳ ὑμῶν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῶν σαββάτων· ἐγὼ Κύριος.Do not light a fire in any of your dwellings on the Sabbath day.”

4Καὶ εἶπε Μωυσῆς πρὸς πᾶσαν συναγωγὴν υἱῶν Ἰσραὴλ λέγων· τοῦτο τὸ ρῆμα, ὃ συνέταξε Κύριος λέγων·Moses also told the whole congregation of Israel, “This is what the LORD has commanded:

5λάβετε παρ᾿ ὑμῶν αὐτῶν ἀφαίρεμα Κυρίῳ· πᾶς ὁ καταδεχόμενος τῇ καρδίᾳ οἴσουσι τὰς ἀπαρχὰς Κυρίῳ, χρυσίον, ἀργύριον, χαλκόν,Take from among you an offering to the LORD. Let everyone whose heart is willing bring an offering to the LORD: gold, silver, and bronze;

6ὑάκινθον, πορφύραν, κόκκινον διπλοῦν διανενησμένον καὶ βύσσον κεκλωσμένην καὶ τρίχας αἰγείαςblue, purple, and scarlet yarn; fine linen and goat hair;

7καὶ δέρματα κριῶν ἠρυθροδανωμένα καὶ δέρματα ὑακίνθινα καὶ ξύλα ἄσηπτα.ram skins dyed red and fine leather; acacia wood;

8καὶ τοὺς χιτῶνας τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἀαρὼν τῆς ἱερατείας καὶ τὸ ἔλαιον τοῦ χρίσματος καὶ τὸ θυμίαμα τῆς συνθέσεως.olive oil for the light; spices for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense;

9καὶ λίθους σαρδίου καὶ λίθους εἰς τὴν γλυφὴν εἰς τὴν ἐπωμίδα καὶ τὸν ποδήρη.and onyx stones and gemstones to be mounted on the ephod and breastpiece.

10καὶ πᾶς σοφὸς τῇ καρδίᾳ ἐν ὑμῖν ἐλθὼν ἐργαζέσθω πάντα, ὅσα συνέταξε Κύριος·Let every skilled craftsman among you come and make everything that the LORD has commanded:

11τὴν σκηνὴν καὶ τὰ παραρύματα καὶ τὰ κατακαλύμματα καὶ τά διατόνια καὶ τοὺς μοχλοὺς καὶ τοὺς στύλουςthe tabernacle with its tent and covering, its clasps and frames, its crossbars, posts, and bases;

12καὶ τὴν κιβωτὸν τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ τοὺς ἀναφορεῖς αὐτῆς καὶ τὸ ἱλαστήριον αὐτῆς καὶ τὸ καταπέτασμαthe ark with its poles and mercy seat, and the veil to shield it;

13καὶ τὰ ἱστία τῆς αὐλῆς καὶ τοὺς στύλους αὐτῆςthe table with its poles, all its utensils, and the Bread of the Presence;

14καὶ τοὺς λίθους τοὺς τῆς σμαράγδουthe lampstand for light with its accessories and lamps and oil for the light;

15καὶ τὸ θυμίαμα καὶ τὸ ἔλαιον τοῦ χρίσματοςthe altar of incense with its poles; the anointing oil and fragrant incense; the curtain for the doorway at the entrance to the tabernacle;

16καὶ τὴν τράπεζαν καὶ πάντα τὰ σκεύη αὐτῆςthe altar of burnt offering with its bronze grate, its poles, and all its utensils; the basin with its stand;

17καὶ τὴν λυχνίαν τοῦ φωτὸς καὶ πάντα τὰ σκεύη αὐτῆςthe curtains of the courtyard with its posts and bases, and the curtain for the gate of the courtyard;

18καὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον καὶ πάντα τὰ σκεύη αὐτοῦthe tent pegs for the tabernacle and for the courtyard, along with their ropes;

19καὶ τὰς στολὰς τὰς ἁγίας Ἀαρὼν τοῦ ἱερέως καὶ τὰς στολάς, ἐν αἷς λειτουργήσουσιν ἐν αὐταῖς,and the woven garments for ministering in the holy place—both the holy garments for Aaron the priest and the garments for his sons to serve as priests.”

20καὶ ἐξῆλθε πᾶσα συναγωγὴ υἱῶν Ἰσραὴλ ἀπὸ ΜωυσῆThen the whole congregation of Israel withdrew from the presence of Moses.

21καὶ ἤνεγκαν ἕκαστος, ὧν ἔφερεν ἡ καρδία αὐτῶν, καὶ ὅσοις ἔδοξε τῇ ψυχῇ αὐτῶν, ἤνεγκαν ἀφαίρεμα Κυρίῳ εἰς πάντα τὰ ἔργα τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ εἰς πάντα τὰ κάτεργα αὐτῆς, καὶ εἰς πάσας τὰς στολὰς τοῦ ἁγίου.And everyone whose heart stirred him and whose spirit prompted him came and brought an offering to the LORD for the work on the Tent of Meeting, for all its services, and for the holy garments.

22καὶ ἤνεγκαν οἱ ἄνδρες παρὰ τῶν γυναικῶν, πᾶς ᾧ ἔδοξε τῇ διανοίᾳ, ἤνεγκαν σφραγῖδας καὶ ἐνώτια καὶ δακτυλίους καὶ ἐμπλόκια καὶ περιδέξια, πᾶν σκεῦος χρυσοῦν, καὶ πάντες ὅσοι ἤνεγκαν ἀφαιρέματα χρυσίου Κυρίῳ.So all who had willing hearts, both men and women, came and brought brooches and earrings, rings and necklaces, and all kinds of gold jewelry. And they all presented their gold as a wave offering to the LORD.

23καὶ παρ᾿ ᾧ εὑρέθη βύσσος καὶ δέρματα ὑακίνθινα καὶ δέρματα κριῶν ἠρυθροδανωμένα, ἤνεγκαν.Everyone who had blue, purple, or scarlet yarn, or fine linen, goat hair, ram skins dyed red, or articles of fine leather, brought them.

24καὶ πᾶς ὁ ἀφαιρῶν ἀφαίρεμα, ἤνεγκαν ἀργύριον καὶ χαλκόν, τὰ ἀφαιρέματα Κυρίῳ, καὶ παρ᾿ οἷς εὑρέθη ξύλα ἄσηπτα εἰς πάντα τὰ ἔργα τῆς παρασκευῆς ἤνεγκαν.And all who could present an offering of silver or bronze brought it as a contribution to the LORD. Also, everyone who had acacia wood for any part of the service brought it.

25καὶ πᾶσα γυνὴ σοφὴ τῇ διανοίᾳ ταῖς χερσὶ νήθειν ἤνεγκαν νενησμένα, τὴν ὑάκινθον καὶ τὴν πορφύραν καὶ τὸ κόκκινον καὶ τὴν βύσσον·Every skilled woman spun with her hands and brought what she had spun: blue, purple, or scarlet yarn, or fine linen.

26καὶ πᾶσαι αἱ γυναῖκες, αἷς ἔδοξε τῇ διανοίᾳ αὐτῶν ἐν σοφίᾳ, ἔνησαν τὰς τρίχας τὰς αἰγείας.And all the skilled women whose hearts were stirred spun the goat hair.

27καὶ οἱ ἄρχοντες ἤνεγκαν τοὺς λίθους τῆς σμαράγδου καὶ τοὺς λίθους τῆς πληρώσεως εἰς τὴν ἐπωμίδα καὶ τὸ λογεῖονThe leaders brought onyx stones and gemstones to mount on the ephod and breastpiece,

28καὶ τὰς συνθέσεις, καὶ εἰς τὸ ἔλαιον τῆς χρίσεως καὶ τὴν σύνθεσιν τοῦ θυμιάματος.as well as spices and olive oil for the light, for the anointing oil, and for the fragrant incense.

29καὶ πᾶς ἀνὴρ καὶ γυνή, ὧν ἔφερεν ἡ διάνοια αὐτῶν εἰσελθόντας ποιεῖν πάντα τὰ ἔργα, ὅσα συνέταξε Κύριος ποιῆσαι αὐτὰ διά Μωυσῆ, ἤνεγκαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ἰσραὴλ ἀφαίρεμα Κυρίῳ.So all the men and women of the Israelites whose hearts prompted them brought a freewill offering to the LORD for all the work that the LORD through Moses had commanded them to do.

30Καὶ εἶπε Μωυσῆς τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἰσραήλ· ἰδοὺ ἀνακέκληκεν ὁ Θεὸς ἐξ ὀνόματος τὸν Βεσελεὴλ τὸν τοῦ Οὐρίου τὸν Ὤρ, ἐκ τῆς φυλῆς Ἰούδα,Then Moses said to the Israelites, “See, the LORD has called by name Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah.

31καὶ ἐνέπλησεν αὐτὸν πνεῦμα θεῖον σοφίας καὶ συνέσεως καὶ ἐπιστήμης πάντωνAnd He has filled him with the Spirit of God, with skill, ability, and knowledge in all kinds of craftsmanship,

32ἀρχιτεκτονεῖν κατὰ πάντα τὰ ἔργα τῆς ἀρχιτεκτονίας, ποιεῖν τὸ χρυσίον καὶ τὸ ἀργύριον καὶ τὸν χαλκὸνto design artistic works in gold, silver, and bronze,

33καὶ λιθουργῆσαι τὸν λίθον καὶ κατεργάζεσθαι τὰ ξύλα καὶ ποιεῖν ἐν παντὶ ἔργῳ σοφίας·to cut gemstones for settings, and to carve wood, so that he may be a master of every artistic craft.

34καὶ προβιβάσαι γε ἔδωκεν ἐν τῇ διανοίᾳ αὐτῷ τε καὶ τῷ Ἐλιὰβ τῷ τοῦ Ἀχισαμάχ, ἐκ φυλῆς Δάν.And the LORD has given both him and Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, the ability to teach others.

35καὶ ἐνέπλησεν αὐτοὺς σοφίας, συνέσεως, διανοίας, πάντα συνιέναι ποιῆσαι τὰ ἔργα τοῦ ἁγίου καὶ τὰ ὑφαντὰ καὶ ποικιλτὰ ὑφᾶναι τῷ κοκκίνῳ καὶ τῇ βύσσῳ, ποιεῖν πᾶν ἔργον ἀρχιτεκτονίας ποικιλίας.He has filled them with skill to do all kinds of work as engravers, designers, embroiderers in blue, purple, and scarlet yarn and fine linen, and as weavers—as artistic designers of every kind of craft.
