14 UDB તેથી, મારા વહાલાઓ, બને તેટલું ઝડપથી મૂર્તિપૂજાથી નાસી જાઓ. BSB BSB: Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry.
15 UDB જે લોકો પોતાના જીવન જીવવા સંબંધી કાળજીપૂર્વક વિચારે છે તેવાઓમાં તમને ગણીને હું તમને આ કહું છું; હું તમને જે કહું છું તે વિષે વિચાર કરો. BSB BSB: I speak to reasonable people; judge for yourselves what I say.
16 UDB જ્યારે આપણે આશીર્વાદ આપીને દ્રાક્ષારસ પીએ છીએ, ત્યારે આપણે ખ્રિસ્તના રક્તમાં સહભાગી થઈએ છીએ. જ્યારે આપણે રોટલી ભાંગીએ છીએ, ત્યારે આપણે ખ્રિસ્તના શરીરમાં સહભાગી થઈએ છીએ. BSB BSB: Is not the cup of blessing that we bless a participation in the blood of Christ? And is not the bread that we break a participation in the body of Christ?
17 UDB રોટલી એક જ છે, અને ભલે આપણે ઘણા હોઈએ તો પણ, આપણે સર્વ સાથે મળીને એક જ શરીર બનીએ છીએ, અને આપણે સર્વ એક જ રોટલીમાંથી ખાઈએ છીએ. BSB BSB: Because there is one loaf, we who are many are one body; for we all partake of the one loaf.

BSB BSB: You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too; you cannot partake in the table of the Lord and the table of demons too.
22 UDB તે પ્રમાણે કરીને તમે પ્રભુને તમારી બિનવફાદારીના લીધે ઈર્ષા કરવા ઉશ્કેરો છો. તમે તેમના કરતાં બળવાન નથી! BSB BSB: Are we trying to provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than He?
23 UDB કેટલાક કહે છે, "સઘળી બાબતો ઉચિત છે", પણ આપણા માટે કે અન્ય લોકોના માટે બધી જ બાબતો સારી નથી. હા, "સઘળી બાબતો ઉચિત છે," પરંતુ લોકોને ઈશ્વર સાથેના જીવનમાં સઘળી બાબતો મદદરૂપ થતી નથી. BSB BSB: “Everything is permissible,” but not everything is beneficial. “Everything is permissible,” but not everything is edifying.
24 UDB માત્ર તમારા જ હિત માટે કાર્ય ન કરો, પરંતુ બીજાઓના હિત માટે પણ કાર્ય કરો. આપણે સર્વએ એકબીજા સાથે એ રીતે વર્તવું કે આપણે સર્વને મદદરૂપ થઈ શકીએ. BSB BSB: No one should seek his own good, but the good of others.

32 UDB આવી બાબતોને લીધે યહૂદીઓ અથવા ગ્રીકો, અથવા ઈશ્વરની મંડળીના કોઈ સાથે આક્રમક બનશો નહીં. BSB BSB: Do not become a stumbling block, whether to Jews or Greeks or the church of God—

BSB BSB: as I also try to please everyone in all I do. For I am not seeking my own good, but the good of many, that they may be saved.
