8 ULB પણ માણસમાં આત્મા રહેલો છે; અને સર્વશક્તિમાન ઈશ્વરનો શ્વાસ લોકોને સમજણ આપે છે. BSB BSB: But there is a spirit in a man, the breath of the Almighty, that gives him understanding.
9 ULB મહાન લોકો જ બુદ્ધિમાન હોય છે તેવું નથી, અથવા વૃદ્ધ લોકો જ ન્યાય સમજે છે તે પ્રમાણે હંમેશા હોતું નથી. BSB BSB: It is not only the old who are wise, or the elderly who understand justice.
10 ULB તે માટે હું કહું છું કે, 'મને સાંભળો; હું પણ તમને મારું ડહાપણ જાહેર કરીશ'. BSB BSB: Therefore I say, ‘Listen to me; I too will declare what I know.’
11 ULB જુઓ, જ્યારે તમે વિચારતા હતા કે શું બોલવું; મેં તમારા શબ્દોની રાહ જોઈ અને મેં તમારી દલીલો સાંભળી. BSB BSB: Indeed, I waited while you spoke; I listened to your reasoning; as you searched for words,
12 ULB ખરેખર, મેં તમને ધ્યાનથી સાંભળ્યા, પણ, જુઓ, તમારામાંનો કોઈ પણ અયૂબને ખાતરી કરાવી શક્યો નહિ અને તેને જવાબમાં પ્રત્યુત્તર પણ આપી શક્યો નહિ. BSB BSB: I paid you full attention. But no one proved Job wrong; not one of you rebutted his arguments.
13 ULB સાવચેત રહેજો અને એવું ન કહેતા કે, 'અમને ડહાપણ પ્રાપ્ત થયું છે!" ઈશ્વર અયૂબને હરાવશે; સામાન્ય માણસ કંઈ કરી શકે નહિ. BSB BSB: So do not claim, ‘We have found wisdom; let God, not man, refute him.’
14 ULB અયૂબે મારી સાથે દલીલ કરી નથી, તેથી હું તમારા શબ્દોથી તેને સામો જવાબ આપીશ નહિ. BSB BSB: But Job has not directed his words against me, and I will not answer him with your arguments.
15 ULB આ ત્રણ માણસો સ્તબ્ધ થઈ ગયા; તેઓ અયૂબને જવાબ આપી શક્યા નહીં. તેઓની પાસે બોલવાને કોઈ શબ્દો રહ્યા નથી. BSB BSB: Job’s friends are dismayed, with no more to say; words have escaped them.
16 ULB કારણ કે તેઓ શાંત ઊભા છે અને જવાબ આપતા નથી, તેઓ વાત કરતા નથી તેથી શું હું રાહ જોઈ બેસી રહું? BSB BSB: Must I wait, now that they are silent, now that they stand and no longer reply?

18 ULB મારી પાસે કહેવાને ઘણી બાબતો છે; મારો આત્મા મને ફરજ પાડે છે. BSB BSB: For I am full of words, and my spirit within me compels me.
19 ULB જુઓ, હું નવી દ્રાક્ષારસના મશક જેવો છું કે જે હજી ખોલી ન હોય; તેવું મારું મન છે, નવા મશકની જેમ તે ફાટવાની તૈયારીમાં છે. BSB BSB: Behold, my belly is like unvented wine; it is about to burst like a new wineskin.
20 ULB હું બોલીશ જેથી મારું મન સ્વસ્થ થાય; હું મારા મુખે જવાબ આપીશ. BSB BSB: I must speak and find relief; I must open my lips and respond.
21 ULB હું પક્ષપાત કરીશ નહિ; અથવા હું કોઈ પણ માણસને ખુશામતનો ખિતાબ આપીશ નહિ. BSB BSB: I will be partial to no one, nor will I flatter any man.
22 ULB કેમ કે મને ખુશામત કરતાં આવડતું નથી; જો હું એમ કરું તો, સર્જનહાર ઈશ્વર મારો જલદી નાશ કરે. BSB BSB: For I do not know how to flatter, or my Maker would remove me in an instant.
