Nehemiah 11 (ULB)

1લોકોના તમામ આગેવાનો યરુશાલેમમાં વસ્યા અને બાકીના લોકોએ એ માટે ચિઠ્ઠીઓ નાખી કે દર દસમાંથી એક માણસ પવિત્ર નગર યરુશાલેમમાં રહેવા માટે જાય. બાકીના નવ અન્ય નગરોમાં જઈને વસે.Now the leaders of the people settled in Jerusalem, and the rest of the people cast lots to bring one out of ten to live in the holy city of Jerusalem, while the remaining nine were to dwell in their own towns.

2યરુશાલેમમાં રહેવા માટે જે લોકો રાજીખુશીથી આગળ આવ્યા, તે સર્વ માણસોને બાકીના લોકોએ શુભેચ્છા પાઠવી.And the people blessed all the men who volunteered to live in Jerusalem.

3પ્રાંતના જે આગેવાનો યરુશાલેમમાં રહ્યા તેઓ આ છે. ઇઝરાયલના લોકો, યાજકો, લેવીઓ, ભક્તિસ્થાનના સેવકો અને સુલેમાનના ચાકરોના વંશજો યહૂદિયાના નગરોમાં પોતપોતાનાં વતનમાં રહ્યા.These are the heads of the provinces who settled in Jerusalem. (In the villages of Judah, however, each lived on his own property in their towns—the Israelites, priests, Levites, temple servants, and descendants of Solomon’s servants—

From the descendants of Judah: Athaiah son of Uzziah, the son of Zechariah, the son of Amariah, the son of Shephatiah, the son of Mahalalel, a descendant of Perez;

5અને માસેયા બારુખનો પુત્ર, બારુખ કોલ-હોઝેનો, કોલ-હોઝે હઝાયાનો, હઝાયા અદાયાનો, અદાયા યોયારીબનો, યોયારીબ ઝખાર્યાનો પુત્ર, ઝખાર્યા શીલોનીનો પુત્ર હતો.and Maaseiah son of Baruch, the son of Col-hozeh, the son of Hazaiah, the son of Adaiah, the son of Joiarib, the son of Zechariah, a descendant of Shelah.

6પેરેસના સર્વ વંશજો જેઓ યરુશાલેમમાં વસ્યા તેઓ ચારસો અડસઠ હતા. તેઓ સર્વ પરાક્રમી પુરુષો હતા.The descendants of Perez who settled in Jerusalem totaled 468 men of valor.

7બિન્યામીનના વંશજો આ છે: સાલ્લૂ તે મશુલ્લામનો પુત્ર, મશુલ્લામ યોએલનો, યોએલ પદાયાનો, પદાયા કોલાયાનો, કોલાયા માસેયાનો, માસેયા ઇથીએલનો, ઇથીએલ યશાયાનો પુત્ર હતો.From the descendants of Benjamin: Sallu son of Meshullam, the son of Joed, the son of Pedaiah, the son of Kolaiah, the son of Maaseiah, the son of Ithiel, the son of Jeshaiah;

11સરાયા તે હિલ્કિયાનો પુત્ર, હિલ્કિયા મશુલ્લામનો, મશુલ્લામ સાદોકનો, સાદોક મરાયોથનો, મરાયોથ અહિટૂબનો પુત્ર હતો. સરાયા ઈશ્વરના સભાસ્થાનનો કારભારી હતો,Seraiah son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, the chief official of the house of God;

13તેના ભાઈઓ જેઓ પોતાના કુટુંબોના આગેવાનો હતા તેઓ બસો બેતાળીસ હતા. ઈમ્મેરના પુત્ર, મશિલ્લેમોથના પુત્ર, આહઝાયના પુત્ર, અઝારેલનો પુત્ર, અમાશસાય,and his associates, the leaders of families—242 men; Amashai son of Azarel, the son of Ahzai, the son of Meshillemoth, the son of Immer;

14અને તેઓના ભાઈઓ, એ પરાક્રમી પુરુષો એકસો અઠ્ઠાવીસ હતા. હાગ્ગદોલીમનો પુત્ર ઝાબ્દીએલ તેઓનો અધિકારી હતો.and his associates—128 mighty men of valor. Zabdiel son of Haggedolim was their overseer.

15લેવીઓમાંના: બુન્નીના પુત્ર, હશાબ્યાના પુત્ર, આઝ્રીકામના પુત્ર, હાશ્શૂબનો પુત્ર શમાયા,From the Levites: Shemaiah son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Bunni;

16લેવીઓના આગેવાનોમાંના શાબ્બથાય તથા યોઝાબાદ ઈશ્વરના ભક્તિસ્થાનના બહારના કામકાજ પર દેખરેખ રાખતા હતા.Shabbethai and Jozabad, two leaders of the Levites, who supervised the work outside the house of God;

17અને પ્રાર્થના તથા આભારસ્તુતિનો આરંભ કરવામાં આસાફના પુત્ર ઝાબ્દીના પુત્ર મિખાનો પુત્ર માત્તાન્યા મુખ્ય હતો. અને બાકબુક્યા પોતાના ભાઈઓમાં બીજો હતો, તથા યદૂથૂનના પુત્ર ગાલાલના પુત્ર શામ્મૂઆનો પુત્ર આબ્દા હતો.Mattaniah son of Mica, the son of Zabdi, the son of Asaph, who led in thanksgiving and prayer; Bakbukiah, second among his associates; and Abda son of Shammua, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun.

18પવિત્ર નગરમાં બધા મળીને બસો ચોર્યાસી લેવીઓ હતા.The Levites in the holy city totaled 284.

19દ્વારપાળો: આક્કુબ, ટાલ્મોન તથા તેમના સગાંઓ, જે દ્વારપાળો હતા, તેઓ એકસો બોતેર હતા.And the gatekeepers: Akkub, Talmon, and their associates, who kept watch at the gates—172 men.

20બાકીના ઇઝરાયલીઓ, યાજકો, લેવીઓ, યહૂદિયાનાં સર્વ નગરોમાં પોતપોતાના વતનોમાં રહ્યા.The rest of the Israelites, with the priests and Levites, were in all the villages of Judah, each on his own inheritance.

21ભક્તિસ્થાનના સેવકો ઓફેલમાં રહ્યા અને સીહા તથા ગિશ્પા તેમના અધિકારી હતા.The temple servants lived on the hill of Ophel, with Ziha and Gishpa over them.

22યરુશાલેમના લેવીઓનો અધિકારી પણ, ઈશ્વરના ભક્તિસ્થાનના કામ પર, આસાફના વંશજોમાંના એટલે ગાનારોમાંના મિખાનો દીકરો માત્તાન્યાનો દીકરો હશાબ્યાનો દીકરો બાનીનો દીકરો ઉઝિઝ હતો.Now the overseer of the Levites in Jerusalem was Uzzi son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Mica. He was one of Asaph’s descendants, who were the singers in charge of the service of the house of God.

23તેઓ વિષે રાજાની એવી આજ્ઞા હતી કે ગાનારાઓને દરરોજ જરૂરિયાત પ્રમાણે નિયુક્ત ભથ્થું આપવું.For there was a command from the king concerning the singers, an ordinance regulating their daily activities.

24યહૂદાના દીકરો ઝેરાહના વંશજોમાંના મશેઝાબએલનો દીકરો પથાહ્યા લોકોને લગતી સર્વ બાબતોમાં રાજાનો પ્રતિનિધિ હતો.Pethahiah son of Meshezabel, a descendant of Zerah son of Judah, was the king’s agent in every matter concerning the people.

25ખેતરોવાળાં ગામો વિષે યહૂદાના વંશજોમાંના કેટલાક કિર્યાથ-આર્બામાં તથા તેનાં ગામોમાં, દિબોનમાં તથા તેનાં ગામોમાં, યકાબ્સેલમાં તથા તેનાં ગામોમાં રહ્યા.As for the villages with their fields, some of the people of Judah lived in Kiriath-arba, Dibon, Jekabzeel, and their villages;

26અને યેશૂઆમાં, મોલાદામાં, બેથ-પેલેટમાં.in Jeshua, Moladah, and Beth-pelet;

27હસાર-શૂઆલમાં, બેરશેબામાં તથા તેનાં ગામોમાં પણ રહ્યા.in Hazar-shual; in Beersheba and its villages;

28તેઓમાંના સિકલાગમાં, મખોનામાં તથા તેના ગામોમાં,in Ziklag; in Meconah and its villages;

29એન-રિમ્મોનમાં, સોરાહમાં તથા યાર્મૂથમાં,in En-rimmon, Zorah, Jarmuth,

30ઝાનોઆ, અદુલ્લામ તથા તેઓનાં ગામોમાં, લાખીશ તથા તેનાં ખેતરોમાં અને અઝેકા તથા તેનાં ગામોમાં રહ્યા. આમ તેઓ બેરશેબાથી તે હિન્નોમની ખીણ સુધી વસ્યા.Zanoah, Adullam, and their villages; in Lachish and its fields; and in Azekah and its villages. So they settled from Beersheba all the way to the Valley of Hinnom.

31બિન્યામીનના વંશજો પણ ગેબાથી તે મિખ્માશ, અઝઝાહ, બેથેલ તથા તેનાં ગામોમાં રહ્યા.The descendants of Benjamin from Geba lived in Michmash, Aija, and Bethel with its villages;

32તેઓ અનાથોથ, નોબ, અનાન્યા,in Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah,

33હાસોર, રામા, ગિત્તાઈમ,Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,

34હાદીદ, સબોઈમ, નબાલ્લાટ,Hadid, Zeboim, Neballat,

35લોદ, ઓનો તથા કારીગરોની ખીણમાં વસ્યા.Lod, and Ono; and in the Valley of the Craftsmen.

36અને યહૂદિયામાંના લેવીઓના કેટલાક સમૂહો બિન્યામીનના વંશજોની સાથે વસ્યા.And some divisions of the Levites of Judah settled in Benjamin.
