Psalm 105 (ULB)

1યહોવાહનો આભાર માનો, તેમના નામને વિનંતિ કરો; તેમનાં કૃત્યો લોકોમાં પ્રસિદ્ધ કરો.Give thanks to the LORD, call upon His name; make known His deeds among the nations.

2તેમની આગળ ગાઓ, તેમનાં સ્તોત્ર ગાઓ; તેમનાં સર્વ આશ્ચર્યકારક કામોનું મનન કરો.Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; tell of all His wonders.

3તેમના પવિત્ર નામને લીધે તમે ગૌરવ અનુભવો; યહોવાહને શોધનારનાં હૃદય આનંદ પામો.Glory in His holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice.

4યહોવાહને તથા તેમના સામર્થ્યને શોધો; સતત તેમની હાજરીનો અનુભવ કરો.Seek out the LORD and His strength; seek His face always.

5તેમણે જે આશ્ચર્યકારક કામો કર્યાં છે, તે તથા તેમના ચમત્કારો અને તેમના મુખમાંથી નીકળતા ન્યાયચુકાદા યાદ રાખો.Remember the wonders He has done, His marvels, and the judgments He has pronounced,

6તેમના સેવક ઇબ્રાહિમના વંશજો, તમે યાકૂબના વંશજો છો, તેમના પસંદ કરેલા, તમે તેમને યાદ કરો.O offspring of His servant Abraham, O sons of Jacob, His chosen ones.

7તે યહોવાહ, આપણા ઈશ્વર છે. આખી પૃથ્વીમાં તેમનાં ન્યાયનાં કૃત્યો પ્રસિદ્ધ છે.He is the LORD our God; His judgments carry throughout the earth.

8તે પોતાનો કરાર સર્વદા યાદ રાખે છે, હજાર પેઢીઓને આપેલું વચન પાળે છે.He remembers His covenant forever, the word He ordained for a thousand generations—

9જે કરાર તેમણે ઇબ્રાહિમ સાથે કર્યો હતો અને ઇસહાક પ્રત્યેની પ્રતિજ્ઞા કરી હતી.the covenant He made with Abraham, and the oath He swore to Isaac.

10તેમણે યાકૂબ માટેના નિયમ તરીકે તેનું સ્થાપન કર્યું તેને તેમણે ઇઝરાયલ માટે સર્વકાળનો કરાર બનાવ્યો.He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree, to Israel as an everlasting covenant:

11તેમણે કહ્યું, "આ કનાન દેશ હું તમને આપીશ તે સર્વદા તમારું પોતાનું વતન થશે."“I will give you the land of Canaan as the portion of your inheritance.”

12તેમણે આમ પણ કહ્યું જ્યારે તેઓ અલ્પ સંખ્યામાં હતા, ત્યારે તેઓની વસ્તી ઘણી ઓછી હતી અને તેઓ દેશમાં પ્રવાસીઓ હતા.When they were few in number, few indeed, and strangers in the land,

13તેઓ એક દેશથી બીજે દેશ અને એક રાજ્યમાંથી બીજા રાજ્યમાં ફરતા.they wandered from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another.

14તેમણે તેઓ પર કોઈને જુલમ કરવા દીધો નહિ; તેઓને લીધે તેમણે રાજાઓને શિક્ષા કરી.He let no man oppress them; He rebuked kings on their behalf:

15તેમણે કહ્યું, "મારા અભિષિક્તોને અડશો નહિ અને મારા પ્રબોધકોને નુકસાન પહોંચાડશો નહિ."“Do not touch My anointed ones! Do no harm to My prophets!”

16તેમણે કનાનની ભૂમિમાં દુકાળ આવવા દીધો; તેમણે અન્નનો આધાર તોડી નાખ્યો.He called down famine on the land and cut off all their supplies of food.

17તેમણે તેઓની પહેલાં યૂસફને કે જે ગુલામ તરીકે વેચાઈ ગયો હતો તેને મોકલ્યો.He sent a man before them—Joseph, sold as a slave.

18બંદીખાનામાં તેઓએ તેના પગોએ સાંકળો બાંધી અને તેઓએ લોખંડનાં બંધનો તેના ગળે બાંધ્યાં.They bruised his feet with shackles and placed his neck in irons,

19યહોવાહના શબ્દે પુરવાર કર્યુ કે તે સાચો હતો, ત્યાં સુધી યૂસફ જેલમાં રહ્યો.until his prediction came true and the word of the LORD proved him right.

20રાજાએ માણસો મોકલીને તેને છોડાવ્યો; લોકોના અધિપતિઓએ તેનો છુટકારો કર્યો.The king sent and released him; the ruler of peoples set him free.

21તેણે તેને પોતાના મહેલનો કારભારી અને પોતાની સર્વ મિલકતનો વહીવટદાર ઠરાવ્યો.He made him master of his household, ruler over all his substance,

22કે તે રાજકુમારોને નિયંત્રણમાં રાખે અને પોતાના વડીલોને ડહાપણ શીખવે.to instruct his princes as he pleased and teach his elders wisdom.

23પછી ઇઝરાયલ મિસરમાં આવ્યો અને ત્યાં હામનાં દેશમાં યાકૂબે મુકામ કર્યો.Then Israel entered Egypt; Jacob dwelt in the land of Ham.

24ઈશ્વરે પોતાના લોકોને ઘણા આબાદ કર્યા અને તેમના દુશ્મનો કરતાં વધારે બળવાન કર્યા.And the LORD made His people very fruitful, more numerous than their foes,

25તેમણે પોતાના લોકો પર દ્વ્રેષ રાખવાને તથા પોતાના સેવકોની સાથે કપટથી વર્તવાને તેઓની બુદ્ધિ ફેરવી નાખી.whose hearts He turned to hate His people, to conspire against His servants.

26તેમણે પોતાના સેવક મૂસાને અને તેમના પસંદ કરેલા, હારુનને મોકલ્યા.He sent Moses His servant, and Aaron, whom He had chosen.

27તેઓએ મિસરના લોકોમાં તેમનાં ચિહ્નો બતાવ્યાં, વળી હામના દેશમાં ચમત્કારો પ્રગટ કર્યા.They performed His miraculous signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.

28તેમણે પૃથ્વી પર ગાઢ અંધકાર મોકલ્યો, પણ તે લોકોએ તેમની વાતને માની નહિ.He sent darkness, and it became dark—yet they defied His words.

29તેમણે તેઓનું પાણી લોહી કરી નાખ્યું અને તેઓનાં માછલાં મારી નાખ્યાં.He turned their waters to blood and caused their fish to die.

30તેઓના દેશ પર અસંખ્ય દેડકાં ચઢી આવ્યાં, હા, તેઓ છેક રાજમહેલના ઓરડા સુધી ભરાયાં.Their land teemed with frogs, even in their royal chambers.

31તે બોલ્યા અને માખીઓ તથા જૂનાં ટોળાં આવ્યાં અને તેઓના આખા દેશમાં ફેલાઈ ગયાં.He spoke, and insects swarmed—gnats throughout their country.

32તેમણે વરસાદ અને કરા મોકલ્યા, તેઓના દેશમાં ભડભડતો અગ્નિ સળગાવ્યો.He gave them hail for rain, with lightning throughout their land.

33તેમણે તેઓના દ્રાક્ષવેલાઓ તથા અંજીરીનાં ઝાડોનો નાશ કર્યો તેમણે તેઓના દેશનાં બધાં વૃક્ષો તોડી પાડ્યાં.He struck their vines and fig trees and shattered the trees of their country.

34તે બોલ્યા અને અગણિત, તીડો આવ્યા.He spoke, and the locusts came—young locusts without number.

35તીડો તેઓના દેશની સર્વ વનસ્પતિ ખાઈ ગયાં; જમીનનાં બધાં ફળ ભક્ષ કરી ગયાં.They devoured every plant in their land and consumed the produce of their soil.

36તેઓના દેશમાંના સર્વ પ્રથમજનિતને મારી નાખ્યા, તેઓના મુખ્ય બળવાનોને તેમણે મારી નાખ્યા.Then He struck all the firstborn in their land, the firstfruits of all their vigor.

37તે ઇઝરાયલીઓને તેમના સોના તથા ચાંદી સાથે બહાર લાવ્યા; તેઓના કુળોમાં કોઈ પણ નિર્બળ ન હતું.He brought Israel out with silver and gold, and none among His tribes stumbled.

38જ્યારે તેઓ ગયા ત્યારે મિસરના લોકો આનંદ પામ્યા, કારણ કે મિસરના લોકો તેમનાથી ગભરાઈ ગયા હતા.Egypt was glad when they departed, for the dread of Israel had fallen on them.

39તેમણે આચ્છાદનને માટે વાદળું પ્રસાર્યું અને રાત્રે પ્રકાશ આપવા માટે અગ્નિસ્તંભ આપ્યો.He spread a cloud as a covering and a fire to light up the night.

40ઇઝરાયલીઓએ ખોરાક માગ્યો, તો તેમણે લાવરીઓ આપી અને આકાશમાંની રોટલીઓથી તેઓને તૃપ્ત કર્યા.They asked, and He brought quail and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.

41તેમણે ખડક તોડ્યો એટલે ત્યાં પાણી નીકળ્યું; તે નદી થઈને સૂકી ભૂમિમાં વહેવા લાગ્યું.He opened a rock, and water gushed out; it flowed like a river in the desert.

42તેમણે પોતાના સેવક ઇબ્રાહિમને આપેલા પોતાના વચનનું સ્મરણ કર્યું.For He remembered His holy promise to Abraham His servant.

43તે પોતાના લોકોને, પોતાના પસંદ કરેલાઓને, ખુશીથી પાછા લઈ આવ્યા.He brought forth His people with rejoicing, His chosen with shouts of joy.

44તેમણે તેઓને વિદેશીઓની ભૂમિ આપી; તે લોકોએ કરેલા શ્રમના ફળનો વારસો તેમને મળ્યો.He gave them the lands of the nations, that they might inherit the fruit of others’ labor,

45કે જેથી તેઓ તેમના વિધિઓનું પાલન કરે અને તેમના નિયમોને પાળે. યહોવાહની સ્તુતિ કરો.that they might keep His statutes and obey His laws. Hallelujah!
