5 ULB સૂર્ય પોતાના ઓરડામાંથી નીકળતા વરરાજા જેવો છે અને તે બળવાન માણસની જેમ પોતાની શરત દોડવામાં આનંદ માને છે. BSB BSB: Like a bridegroom emerging from his chamber, like a champion rejoicing to run his course,
6 ULB તે આકાશને એક છેડેથી નીકળી આવે છે અને તેના બીજા છેડા સુધી પરિક્રમણ કરે છે; તેની ઉષ્ણતા પામ્યા વિના કોઈ બાકી રહી જતું નથી. BSB BSB: it rises at one end of the heavens and runs its circuit to the other; nothing is deprived of its warmth.
7 ULB યહોવાહના નિયમો સંપૂર્ણ છે, તે આત્માને તાજગી આપે છે; યહોવાહની સાક્ષી વિશ્વાસપાત્ર છે, તે ભોળાને બુદ્ધિમાન કરે છે. BSB BSB: The Law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the LORD is trustworthy, making wise the simple.
8 ULB યહોવાહના વિધિઓ યથાર્થ છે, તેઓ હૃદયને આનંદ આપે છે; યહોવાહની આજ્ઞાઓ નિર્મળ છે, જે આંખોને પ્રકાશ આપે છે. BSB BSB: The precepts of the LORD are right, bringing joy to the heart; the commandments of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes.
9 ULB યહોવાહનો ભય શુદ્ધ અને અનાદિ છે; યહોવાહના ઠરાવો સત્ય તથા તદ્દન ન્યાયી છે. BSB BSB: The fear of the LORD is pure, enduring forever; the judgments of the LORD are true, being altogether righteous.
10 ULB તે શુદ્ધ સોના કરતાં, પણ વધુ પસંદ કરવા યોગ્ય છે; વળી મધપૂડાનાં ટીપાં કરતાં તેઓ વધારે મીઠાં છે. BSB BSB: They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the comb.
11 ULB હા, તેનાથી તમારા સેવકને ચેતવણી મળે છે તેઓને પાળવામાં મોટો લાભ છે. BSB BSB: By them indeed Your servant is warned; in keeping them is great reward.
12 ULB પોતાની ભૂલો કોણ જાણી શકે? છાના પાપથી તમે મને મુક્ત કરો. BSB BSB: Who can discern his own errors? Cleanse me from my hidden faults.
13 ULB જાણી જોઈને કરતાં પાપથી તમે તમારા સેવકને અટકાવો; તેઓને મારા પર રાજ કરવા ન દો. એટલે હું સંપૂર્ણ થઈશ અને હું મહાપાપમાંથી બચી જઈશ. BSB BSB: Keep Your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me. Then I will be blameless and cleansed of great transgression.
14 ULB હે યહોવાહ, મારા ખડક તથા મારા ઉદ્ધારનાર મારા મુખના શબ્દો તથા મારા હૃદયના વિચારો તમારી આગળ માન્ય થાઓ. BSB BSB: May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in Your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.
