2 HGLT और तुम घमण्ड करते हो, और इसके बदले तुम शोक तो नहीं करते, ताकि जिसने यह काम किया वह तुम्हारे बीच में से निकाल दिया जाए। BSB BSB: And you are proud! Shouldn’t you rather have been stricken with grief and have removed from your fellowship the man who did this?
3 HGLT यहां तक कि मैं भी, जो शरीर में अनुपस्थित होकर, परन्तु आत्मा में उपस्थित होकर, ऐसा काम करने वाले पर, मानो उपस्थित होकर, न्याय कर चुका हूं। BSB BSB: Although I am absent from you in body, I am present with you in spirit, and I have already pronounced judgment on the one who did this, just as if I were present.
4 HGLT तुम और मेरी आत्मा, हमारे प्रभु यीशु की सामर्थ्य के साथ, हमारे प्रभु यीशु मसीह के नाम में इकट्ठे होकर, BSB BSB: When you are assembled in the name of our Lord Jesus and I am with you in spirit, along with the power of the Lord Jesus,
5 HGLT इस व्यक्ति को शरीर के विनाश के लिए शैतान के हाथों में सौंप दें ताकि{ उसकी} आत्मा प्रभु के दिन में उद्धार पाए। BSB BSB: hand this man over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved on the Day of the Lord.
6 HGLT तुम्हारा घमण्ड करना अच्छा नहीं है। क्या तुम नहीं जानते हो कि थोड़ा सा ख़मीर सारे गूँधे हुए आटे को ख़मीर कर देता है? BSB BSB: Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven works through the whole batch of dough?
8 HGLT इसलिए हमें न तो पुराने ख़मीर से, और न बुराई एवं दुष्टता के ख़मीर से, परन्तु खराई और सच्चाई की अख़मीरी रोटी से पर्व में आनन्द मनाना चाहिए। BSB BSB: Therefore let us keep the feast, not with the old bread, leavened with malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and of truth.
9 HGLT मैंने तुम को अपनी पत्री में लिखा है कि यौन अनैतिकता करने वाले लोगों के साथ संगति न करना— BSB BSB: I wrote you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people.
10 HGLT इसका अर्थ यह नहीं कि इस संसार के अनैतिक लोगों, या लालची और ठग, या मूर्तिपूजकों के साथ संगति न करो, तब तो तुम्हें संसार से ही निकल जाना पड़ेगा। BSB BSB: I was not including the sexually immoral of this world, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters. In that case you would have to leave this world.
11 HGLT परन्तु अब मैंने तुम्हें लिखा है कि जो कोई भाई कहलाकर, यौन अनैतिकता करने वाला या लालची या मूर्तिपूजक या गाली देने वाला या पियक्कड़ या ठग हो, उसके साथ संगति न करना। ऐसे व्यक्ति के साथ तो भोजन भी न खाना। BSB BSB: But now I am writing you not to associate with anyone who claims to be a brother but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or a verbal abuser, a drunkard or a swindler. With such a man do not even eat.
12 HGLT क्योंकि उन बाहर के लोगों के न्याय से मुझे क्या लेना- देना? क्या तुम उनका न्याय नहीं करते जो अंदर के लोग हैं? BSB BSB: What business of mine is it to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside?
13 HGLT परन्तु बाहर वालों का न्याय परमेश्वर करता है।“अपने मध्य में से उस दुष्ट जन को निकाल बाहर करो।” BSB BSB: God will judge those outside. “Expel the wicked man from among you.”
