11 HGLT (परन्तु यदि वह अलग भी हो जाए, तो वह अविवाहित ही रहे, या वह अपने पति के साथ मेलमिलाप कर ले), और कोई पति अपनी पत्नी को तलाक न दे। BSB BSB: But if she does, she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife.
12 HGLT परन्तु औरों से मैं कहता हूँ— प्रभु नहीं, बल्कि मैं ही कहता हूँ कि— यदि किसी भाई की पत्नी अविश्वासी हो, और वह उसके साथ रहने को राजी हो, तो वह उसे तलाक न दे। BSB BSB: To the rest I say this (I, not the Lord): If a brother has an unbelieving wife and she is willing to live with him, he must not divorce her.

And if a virgin marries, she has not sinned. But those who marry will face troubles in this life, and I want to spare you this.

36 HGLT परन्तु यदि किसी को लगता है कि वह अपनी कुँवारी के प्रति अनुचित व्यवहार कर रहा है— यदि उसकी आयु विवाह की आयु से अधिक है तो ऐसा हो— कि उसे वह करना चाहिए जो वह चाहता है। वह पाप नहीं कर रहा है; उन्हें विवाह कर लेने दो। BSB BSB: However, if someone thinks he is acting inappropriately toward his betrothed, and if she is beyond her youth and they ought to marry, let him do as he wishes; he is not sinning; they should get married.
37 HGLT परन्तु जो अपने हृदय में दृढ़ रहता है और विवश नहीं है, परन्तु{ अपनी} इच्छा पर अधिकार रखता है, और उसने{ अपने} हृदय में यह निश्चय कर लिया है— कि वह{ अपनी} कुँवारी को रखे— तो वह भला काम करेगा। BSB BSB: But the man who is firmly established in his heart and under no constraint, with control over his will and resolve in his heart not to marry the virgin, he will do well.
38 HGLT इसलिए फिर, जो{ अपनी} कुँवारी से विवाह करता है, वह अच्छा करता है, और जो विवाह नहीं करता वह और भी अच्छा करेगा। BSB BSB: So then, he who marries the virgin does well, but he who does not marry her does even better.

40 HGLT तौभी मेरे निर्णय के अनुसार यदि वह जैसी है वैसी ही बनी रहे तो वह और अधिक सुखी रहेगी। और मैं सोचता हूँ कि मेरे पास भी परमेश्वर का आत्मा है। BSB BSB: In my judgment, however, she is happier if she remains as she is. And I think that I too have the Spirit of God.
