13 HGLT क्योंकि इस प्रकार के लोग झूठे प्रेरित, छल से काम करने वाले, मसीह के प्रेरितों का भेष धरने वाले होते{ हैं}। BSB BSB: For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ.
14 HGLT और इसमें कोई अचम्भे की बात नहीं है, क्योंकि शैतान स्वयं भी ज्योतिर्मय स्वर्गदूत का रूप धारण करता है। BSB BSB: And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.

17 HGLT जो मैं कह रहा हूँ, वह मैं इस घमंड की स्थिति में प्रभु के अनुसार नहीं, परन्तु मूर्खता की रीति पर कहता हूँ। BSB BSB: In this confident boasting of mine, I am not speaking as the Lord would, but as a fool.
18 HGLT चूँकि कई लोग शरीर के अनुसार घमंड करते हैं, तो मैं भी घमंड करूँगा। BSB BSB: Since many are boasting according to the flesh, I too will boast.
19 HGLT क्योंकि तुम बुद्धिमान होकर मूर्ख की बात सहने में आनन्दित होते हो। BSB BSB: For you gladly put up with fools, since you are so wise.
20 HGLT क्योंकि यदि कोई तुम्हें दास बनाए, यदि कोई{ तुम्हें} फाड़ खाए, यदि कोई{ तुम्हारा} लाभ उठाए, यदि कोई{ अपने आप को} बड़ा बनाए, यदि कोई तुम्हारे मुँह पर थप्पड़ मारे, तो तुम सह लेते हो। BSB BSB: In fact, you even put up with anyone who enslaves you or exploits you or takes advantage of you or exalts himself or strikes you in the face.
21 HGLT मैं अपमान के अनुसार कहता हूँ, अर्थात् यह कि हम स्वयं ही निर्बल हैं! हालाँकि, जिस भी{ तरीके} से कोई व्यक्ति साहसी हो— तो मैं मूर्खता की रीति से बोल रहा हूँ— कि मैं भी साहस करता हूँ। BSB BSB: To my shame I concede that we were too weak for that! Speaking as a fool, however, I can match what anyone else dares to boast about.

31 HGLT प्रभु यीशु का परमेश्वर और पिता, जो अनन्तकाल से धन्य है, जानता है कि मैं झूठ नहीं बोल रहा हूँ! BSB BSB: The God and Father of the Lord Jesus, who is forever worthy of praise, knows that I am not lying.
